the colder months in Texas it's not that it's hard to ride through the cold here we're not digging out from under six-foot snowdrifts or anything like that it's just that when you're used to beautiful warm sunny days cold dreary days and a wetsuit don't really get you excited to get out and ride it also didn't help that Central Texas saw some of the worst flooding it has ever seen this offseason and for a few weeks every rideable body of water in the Austin area was closed due to flooding but in between the flooding and the cold we managed to still make it out there [Applause] you're gonna make it through the threes yep junior here your operational degree wetsuit be like Laval Tina lavell man back in the day yeah that's what he used to ride all the time the colder months are also great for getting out on other people's boats the Cree ride with certainly dwindles down when the cold arrives and often times you'll find there's just two of you in the boat and while you may not be fighting the crowds as much during the winter you're certainly battling the elements cold water and wind are the only constant for these months how fast this is 28:25 okay it'll be fun then the left by the tech days like this don't leave many options for filming but they're great for taking your time during your set and working on things you put off all summer no matter how much you get to ride during the winter warm from the Sun always fades can you start planning for the next time you can make it out some days everyone's schedule aligns the weather holds off and everyone rallies to ride for the day and if you're really lucky you'll get the whole lake to yourself haven't seen a g23 surfeit all day it's like the apocalypse or something out here on you [Applause] is on you out here [Applause] thanks for watching everyone I hope you enjoyed what you saw here today big thank you to Tom Cano tech for filming on days that I didn't feel like picking up the camera and for sharing that footage so we can make this video here go check out tom on instagram at Tom's slash the tech for a whole bunch more writing clips if you like what you saw here today smash that thumbs up button and if you don't miss anything hit that subscribe button until next time we'll see you on the next one

Awesome video, Doc! Love that you guys ride through the winter. We get out on the lake as soon as the ice melts here in Utah. But we also have to make sure the overnight temps don't drop below freezing…ugh ๐Ÿ™‚

    Good work Paul, very nice.
At 3:40 looks epic, like a James Bond film.
The choppy style is a little bit strange but unique.
