This is Qian Dao Hu. This is where I grew up. It’s not that far from the city, Hangzhou. A lot of people come here to visit the scenery. In total, there are about 1,078 islands on this lake. Growing up here, I never thought I’d have become a skateboarder. Since I decided to come to Hangzhou to study high school. I became friends with a lot of the local skaters here. We all first met at 50 Plaza. Coincidentally, the shop in Hangzhou is also called 50 Skateshop. I ended up just living in that skateshop for over 2 years. I just slept on the ground, on the box, or in the storage space. A lot of people come here for tourism; to see the sights and eat the local food, But I just wanted to be here so I could skate. It’s kind of a bummer that I hurt my knee on a recent skate trip, but I’m still psyched the homies are here so I can show them around the city, and we all get to skate together.
