wanker hey man was that a start be a lot cooler if it was a pro start okay so you want to try the getting up what we call like the pro start you don't have to be a pro to do it but you can you can actually get up this way if you know how to get the board underneath you but getting the board underneath as we pull the boat around grab on to the rope and let yourself get pulled for it kind of like you're doing a deep-water start and as the board begins to go underneath pull your heels underneath you and you can almost swim yourself forward yeah especially if you don't have a robe you can swim yourself forward you know getting to this point it can kind of be a little bit frustrating for some people if you can't do it right away just take your time but don't waste all your energy trying to do this thing so once you get the board underneath you you don't totally stand up in the water you're actually going to kind of sit there with your knees bent just like you're sitting in a chair that's gonna keep the board just too in a place to as it begins to try to float out from underneath you can adjust yeah at first you're gonna feel like a little uncomfortable but just take your time feel it out you can even hop into a pool and practice it so you don't have to do it in front all your friends once a boat begins to go just go can into pretty much a normal deep water start if the board dives deep into the water well you had your toes too low so keep your heels down and your toes barely up and the board's gonna fly to the surface from there well if you can't figure it out you need to stop doing that and the backwards start well you figure that out on your own that's what I did I guess it's what I did with everything here so far but anyway yeah figure that one out you

This start uses a lot less energy than a normal start for me. I didn't actually know it had a name. Most people learning this have difficulty keeping the board underneath them. The other positive thing is that the board keeps your head higher out of the water if you pull the board underneath you when you fall. I'm almost 300 lbs and need all the air I can get when I go down so I try to come up this way after a crash.

Thanks for posting the full versions of these. They are all cut off at 3 minutes on the android app, and they are GREAT instructional resources.
