– Yo, what up Thenx athletes it’s Boo J and I’m back
in Miami with the boys. And we’re gonna be
working out from the house keeping it mellow but getting straight to work. (electronic music) So when you’re working out or pretty much when you’re doing anything you need to have goals. And right now my goals are
to have solid handstands and also to have a handstand pushup. Today I put together a workout routine that will get you stronger and get you closer to a proper handstand and handstand pushup. Everyone needs to start somewhere and before doing something
like the handstand we gotta develop the strength. And that’s exactly what
we’re gonna be doing today with the upper body workout. And remember, you don’t
need any equipment, straight from home. So let’s get right into it. We’re gonna do elevated pike pushups. And we’re gonna do 10 reps. (electronic music) And that’s an exercise that’s gonna get you a step closer to your handstand pushups. If you guys are having trouble with your feet elevated like that, remember, you can just start doing it with your feet on the ground. It’s gonna be a lot easier I promise. What makes this exercise difficult is for how elevated your feet really are. All right, moving on. We’ve got 10 pseudo pushups. We’re going straight into it. (electronic music) There we have the pseudo pushups. Keep in mind when you’re
doing this exercise you wanna push from the waistline and if not, as close as
you can from the waistline to get the full effect. And that’s what makes this exercise so much harder than a normal pushup. You’re applying more body weight the closer your hands
are to your waistline. It’s like increasing the
weight on a bench press. With handstands and handstand pushups you use your entire body weight. And with this exercise it’s pretty much giving
you the same effect. In the next exercise we’re gonna do the same thing with the handstand kickup. Let’s go for 10. (electronic music) And there we got 10. A lot of the time when we
try to learn how to handstand we don’t have enough
strength in our shoulders or it’s a bit scary. So this is the perfect exercise to strengthen your shoulders and to also get you comfortable getting into a handstand
or a handstand pushup. All right you guys, we’re gonna bring up the
intensity in this workout and we’re gonna go for 10 burpees. Training explosive is a great way to build
more power and strength. So we’re gonna jump right into this. (electronic music) All right, there we go. We got the 10 burpees out the way. And now we’ve got five wall walks. And remember, wall walks are one of the best exercises to master your handstand. Not only does it develop the strength in your core, in your arms needed to do a handstand, but it also puts you in a
perfect handstand position. Let’s go for five. (electronic music) All right you guys, that was five. For the last exercise we’re gonna try to hold the L-sit for as long as we can. With the L-sit, you’re gonna be working
your core, your balance and you’re gonna be lifting
your entire body off the ground just how you would in a
handstand pushup or a handstand. And remember, the longer you can hold your L-sit the longer you can hold your handstand. Let’s get straight to it. (electronic music) And that’s the last exercise
of our routine you guys. We got three more rounds to complete this upper body home workout that’s gonna get you closer to your handstands and
your handstand pushups. And after this routine we’re gonna cruise outside for some cardio and some lower body. I’ll catch you guys outside. Yo, what’s up you guys. So we just got done
working out the upper body for our handstands and handstand pushups. Now we’re gonna take it
to the lower body routine. The first move I got for
you guys are kick flips. Let’s do a couple sets of these. So there guys, our kick flips. You wanna try to do a solid squat and kick straight out
like Bruce Lee would. It’s super simple. But remember, don’t stress if you’re
having a rough time. Practice makes perfect you guys. The next move we’re gonna move on to are front side pop shove its. We’re out here in Florida
man so we’re sweating. The humidity is real. And there we have five reps of
the front side pop shove it. You wanna be able to do a solid squat just how we did with the kick flips and kinda scoop that back foot like a reverse bicycle pedal. So now we’re gonna move onto heel flips. Heel flips is the same
thing as the kick flip but this time instead of
flicking with your toe we’re gonna be flicking with our heel and the board motion is
gonna go the opposite way. Let’s jump straight into those. Five reps baby. (electronic music) One more. And there we go. The heel flip. Simple, don’t overstress
it if you can’t do them. Just remember, kick
straight out with your heel and keep it going. All right you guys. That’s the routine for the day. It’s gonna get you shredded and explosive. We’ve got three rounds
