    Interesting concept of maintaining shin and calf pressure ( compression and tension) during an extension motion. This suggests to me you do not project / direct yourself forward.
    'Steady weight distribution on the sole of my outside foot and equal pressure on the shin and calf during turn confirms i'm edging my skis without disturbing my balance' – i understand what you mean however as you come around a turn, pulling forces upon you are constantly changing as direction with respect to the fall line changes. This infers a gradual pressure change and much difficultly in constantly equalizing pressure in shin /calf. Perhaps your referring to attempting to keep a centered ( over arch) stance as much as possible. In general i think you make some good points about producing good turns. I'll have a go at some of your points – thanks for the time in posting this…

    This video is very helpful in explaining the two tips that you mention in your book. After watching this video I can't wait to hit the slopes and try them out.
