    This is a "faves" list, not the product of research. Chicago Bulls center of the late 60's and 70'sTom Boerwinkle was the acknowledged second-strongest player in the league, but he was a rebounding and passing specialist, not a glam player. If he is not still on the five-list or ten-list, anybody who is has to be in between him and Chamberlain. Or above Chamberlain, which I doubt. O'Neal and Gilmore belong. I don't know who the rest are. They might be names that are not even well-known. Some of the NBA big men are among the premier strength athletes on the planet.

    Forgot to mention Dennis Rodman..Dennis Rodman was in my opinion the strongest player in the N.B.A the way he use to handle shaq in the paint

    great job, but I would have Bill RUssell in my top 5- he was ONLY competition for Wilt-when Wilt averaged 50 a game vs everyone else, he barely broke 30 against Russell, who had 7 + NBA titiles- Bill was better; Wilt was #2
