Skiing & Snow
I would throw up from fear.
The Streif is a living legend. It is the most scary downhill Worldwide. Nothing is like the Streif, nothing. They are heroes. I skied down the Streif minimum one hundred times the Monday after the Hahnenkamm downhill. I really don't understand how they can manage the exit of the Steilhang. It is something incredible. If you just watch the TV, You will never realize what is this deadly slope…. I love Kitz and i love the Streif.
The perfect sport for w. s. idiots, cucks and queers
Multible turns on a steep mountain are not my thing. I find pointing the skis down the hill and putting in as few turns not only fun but easier to turn. I don't know what it is but even in GS skiing between the poles is easier for me than what I call weekend skiing like you have a broomstick up your rear. For me the body takes its natural form. Legs angle just right. Leaning down the hill is just normal. No time to think about anything other than the line for the next gate. If on the open mountain even more freedom as you put in less turns and embrace the speed.
I enjoyed the video. Respect to these amazing athletes. Thank you.
Kitzbuhel is the ski area, with 57 different lifts. The Streif start house is opposite the summit station of the Hahnenkamm cable car. Streif – The Nickname: The world famous Downhill course is named after the Streifalm, the meadow on the upper part of the course. In turn, the pasture was probably named after a farmer named Brixner “Straiff”. I always thought the race course was called the Hahnenkamm…
too much ‘production value’ just show the run start to finish, thats all. thx
I bought the movie after watching this great trailer. Literally, the only good parts of the entire movie are in this trailer. The movie itself is completely cheesy Red Bull promotional bro-down. Literally the worst sports documentary ever. This movie is a disgrace relative to the awesomeness that is Hahnenkamm.
These guys obviously don't know how to do the pizza.
Maybe I will go live in Austria just to ski every winter just to be able to get down the Streif in 15 minutes
suggest watching the crashes of this race in the past to get a grip on just how dangerous it really is. I live 20km away from the Streif an go there every single year. Have yet to see a year where they don't need the helicopter for at least 1 guy.
I snowboarded for the first time in my life 3 weeks ago in Maiho Ski Resort, Japan. I could hardly move at the end of the run which took over three hrs, and my tailbone still hurts! I think i'd break bones if i went down that. Snow looks so fluffy and soft, but it felt like i hit cement, over 20 times! But amazing at the same time! haha
Seems easy enough.
Irgentwie in jedem skigebiet diese audi werbung also in schweitz und österreich
So we think we can ski….. huh 😛
If I could get the money together I would set a world record on my snowboard on the strife putting my time up against anything on that mountain. Coming from Albuquerque New Mexico USA. If you want to come race me on my local mountain lose 20 bucks or whatever help me come up with the funding to set a world record on the strife. I will be at Sandia Peak every weekend
Чет прям захотелось купить билет и поехать смотреть
The X games is a joke compared to this

STREIF – THE HELL RACE!
some of these sports reaction channels should get on this video asap!!
Are there any uphill ski races?
Poor use of the snowplough technique I was taught
well no need to tell me. i don't have to worry about it. because i will never do it
Bodies miller rode the canvas
Hey, hold my beer
I skied the Streif 3 years ago. One section near the bottom funnels from a wide slope to a narrow nearly 90 degree turn. It must take amazing strength to hold an edge on that turn at high speed, without crashing.
Who else is from Austria?
There are races this weekend you can watch them today and tomorrow
What is length´ height
