Tourism has improved the lives of Filipinos. It empowered homemakers to become rowers. A dishwasher to island hop for a living. An engineer to uplift a community through creativity. And made this simple boatman the protector of the ocean. Those who couldn’t speak became the voice of our history. And a home cook’s specialty is now a bestseller. We made our four-legged best friend a tour guide. And turned a hundred-year-old tattoo artist into a global Filipino icon. We turned this lush river into a live stage. And captivated the world with our traditional dance. Let’s celebrate 10 years of the Tourism Act. Improving the lives of Filipinos through sustainable livelihood.

Very nice indeed! Question: for some strange reason, the music sounds somewhat "African (?)." It should be a Filipino sound, not African. Does anyone know where the sound track is from? Thanks and great video, DOT!! โ˜บ๏ธ

The anti-admin activists in Manila keep destroying the image of Philippines to the world. They also hate China. Chinese are the top tourists of the world, and highest spenders as well. If they keep doing that, no one will come to Manila, they skip Manila and Luzon, and they go to Cebu, Boracay, Palawan, Siargao etc.. I blame all activists and yellow politicians, Metro Manila will always be known as a shithole city with full of rioters to the world.. Cebu is a better branding, and believe me, Cebu is more famous and well known tourist destination than Manila.
