A tour of Tara's home with Joy Philbin. Her home is incredible and she designed it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGpJhdS0WiU Part 2 should be after this.

Tara was brilliant that night and deserved the gold medal by just a little bit over Michelle. And it was her higher scoring athletic program that weve seen the last two Olympics with Adelina and then Alina edging more artistic competitors with higher scoring programs with better jumps and greater technical content. So I guess Tara deserves credit for creating a trend where is the less artistic but more athletic figure skater with a higher scoring program can win the Olympic gold medal. And now with all these quad girls coming up higher scoring programs will mean even more than they did to Adelina Sotnikova and Alina Zagitova.

As for Michelle I've never thought any less of her because she never got the Olympic gold medal. She is one of the greatest of all time. I kind of feel the same way about Medvedeva. But for those of you complaining about athletes winning over artists they can only go by the rules the ISU sets in force. The ISU already changed the rules after Alina won her gold medal with her incredible back loaded program. No matter all the complaining people do figure skating is truly an incredible sport performed by incredible athletes.

이때 미쉘콴이 1등 예상했을때 의외의 복병으로 미쉘보다 더 큰 기술로 금메달 땀. 하지만 쉽지 않았던게 클린해야만 가능했음. 대단한 리핀스키.

I can't stand how she loses her composure before even finishing her program. Like it's just a jumping contest instead of a program. Sad.

I think Michelle had more arsenal and better quality, but the night belonged to Tara. She was magical on this night. Her fierce competitive nature combined with sheer joy is unforgettable. Excellent!!!

I think it's indeed rare to see a textbook flutz because she did not prerotate that jump

I remember watching this with amazement. What a joy to watch her then and 20 years later. I'd still say, "wow!" Michele was being groom to be great that night. Tara's performance was flawless and she's doing it with pure joy.

I rooted for Michelle , wanted her to win, huge fan, but when you go back and compare her performance that night, and the obvious tension and stress she showed…and compare it to Tara’s clear joy..the joy of simply being there, her amazement…she had the charisma that night. That and her lyrical movements and technical skills…unbeatable..that night. Love watching her as a commentator with Johnny Weir these days,
