hey guys it’s Mary welcome back to my
channel today we are going to work on split jumps
hope you’re all ready for this one the good news about the split jump is if you’re
super duper close through the split you can still get it on the ice with the
momentum and speed we’re going to get that’s gonna help us force our way into
the splits first thing’s first let’s go ahead and stretch it out at the wall
also be sure to stretch off ice before attempting a split jump let’s break down
the split jump we’re going to be traveling in a nice straight line we are going
glide in arms close to each other with our left foot the leading foot that is going to spring up first then that back foot will follow glide spring we’re not jumping off 2 feet
but we’re launching off just the right toe pick when we are up in the air during our
split position our head is going to be slightly checked to the right to control how much we spin so in slow motion feet up toe pick inside edge let’s put it all together so that is the split jump in which we do
the entrance similar to the flip jump starting out with a mohawk we can also
do a falling leaf in which we’ll start off very similarly to the loop jump with a
split falling leaf we are going to be on a curve arms over the circle bend bend bend and then take off thanks so much for watching guys
