Really need to change the title of this "carpetboard lessons". Because this is some of the worst advice I've ever seen for snowboarding. Seems to work well on carpet.

OK. I tried to give this guy the benefit of the doubt. But when he went to linking turns without the bar… he is literally PICKING UP his back foot… terrible form… maybe he is doing this because he is riding on RUBBER. Hahahah. "Like a rudder in a boat… steering." Terrible… Hahahah.

This is pretty dated. He doesn't really point his front knee enough it seems to be locked… relying more on his hip instead… Cool device. Would be good for "top heavy" people who can't stand up.

Got my second snowboard lesson today.. As soon as i used my backleg to initiate a turn (just like this guy) my instructor corrected me and explained this is not the right technique. This video should be removed :/

Straight legs, arched back, steering by skidding the back of the board, all terrible techniques. And it looks like you've got your bindings on the wrong feet!

This guy really does not know how to snowboard. His technique is awful. Don't follow this example new boarder peeps!! You initiate the turn with the lead foot!
