    Seems like the skiers is doing all the work in repointing skis.. Shouldn't ankles be rolled and let the ski do the work ..ie S turns instead of Z turns?

    Your not really supposed to bend your knees when skiing and this is just a drill/exercise showing what one should do when inadvertently bending the knees by accident.

    Good progression but too much pushing against the skis ( as noted by another poster roll your ankles and knees ) and way over the ability of intermediates, but good for advanced skiers.
