I want to talk to you a little bit about skateboarding
safety. If you’re going to learn how to skateboard in order to have fun it’s important to be
safe. A few ways you can be safe are wear a helmet to protect your head, wear knee pads
to protect your knees and wear elbow pads to protect your elbows. If you want to take
it a step further you can also wear wrist guards to prevent breakage when falling and
landing improperly. Another important rule safety is to make sure your pockets are free
from objects. If you have an object such as my keys that you have to keep in your pocket,
make sure that you keep them in your back pushing foot pocket. Most people have a tendency
to fall forward. Falling forward and having the object in your back pocket ensures that
it’s not going to puncture your leg and injure you. Another important part of skateboarding
safety is to progress logically make sure that you learn the most basic and fundamental
tricks and get use to balancing, pushing, stopping and turning before you move into
more advanced tricks. This will make sure that when you move to advance tricks they
are smoother and have more control over the board and you are a lot safer. Even though
it can be frustrating and sometimes it takes a long time to learn how to skateboard moving
slowly and at your own comfortable pace, is the key to success and the key to staying
safe.

"a few ways to be safe are wear a helmet to protect your head were knee pads to protect your knees and wear elbow pads to protect your elbows…if you want to take it a step further completely come outside in tin foil and have your mother come with you while you skate so she can kiss your boo boos"

@Scotty00127 the only reason hes wearing one of each is to just show an example. Why waste time if you could just wear 1 on each side. about 2 minutes taken from your life. deosnt sound long but remember, life is way to short.

Dude, I watched these videos 3 years ago. A month ago I was shopping and tried out a skateboard for the first time. Luckily I remembered one of your basic lessons and it helped me play with the board for quarter of an hour without falling.
For this and for other reasons, you are a pro in my eyes.
