hi I'm the top shelf grower I'm welcome to another episode of seasons of outdoor calves this episode is all about light deprivation and flaring and I'm pleased to announce that all of six of these magnificent photoperiod cannabis plants have responded well and they've successfully made that transition to bloom okay it's the morning of the end of day seven week one of bloom and it's one of those days where they recommend well you really shouldn't stay out sorry too long you want to stay alive and see you tomorrow that's why I'm coming to you early in the morning and believe me it's already scorching hot we're already above 30 degrees I'd say it's 30 to 30 treat forecast for later is both 40 degrees that's buck over a hundred degrees Fahrenheit so it's gonna be a scorcher I plan you to do I've got to get my coconut water and a big feed ready but before we get to that I just want to show you how all these lovely ladies are progressing here we grow ladies and gentlemen okay bear we have the camera free as you can see we have some huge huge cannabis Porsche snail developing at this stage okay so the transition the bloom has been pretty smooth and if we get a look in here on this blue cush berry and the tops are these flowers that's right they're beginning to start to push out the first flares so that's been a great success buying on Saturdays now in contrast this is also a mother make sure this the blue push berry yes quite correct this one actually not in contrast in comparison yet that one's also tuned and moving along here we have our sense Easter yep so it looks like six out of six folks and as we move along here today and the scene I was going to get a load of this absolutely explosive bushy growth tons and tons of colas and you're probably notice now that there's quite a lot of leaf growth yeah that's right they really did bounce back in just one week so defoliation you're trimming your maintenance you know even after you've completed you know your manifold you know got your eight main lines in the structure in the shape you want it really is an ongoing process you can't just close it down yeah edge of coats or just leave the plans of themselves not quite there's still another coupla key stages left and if you want to see those and if at the same time if you want to start from the very beginning a little bit of mainline in yourself I recommend to check out the skunk works series on paradise seeds YouTube channel but to cost them series hands-on tutorials dedicated the main lion monster marijuana plants so I hope you'll enjoy that but getting back to the action here you'll probably notice now these two are the haze is here in the back alright my comical haze with the sixteen rates down to fourteen means I got off stage when I was doing my defoliation I was a little bit too rough one of them I was right it was I'm trying to find it now I can't even find where I am where I should be a fair Witten I find it no no he loved okay just trust me somewhere in there too and got snapped off you seen them you can go back a few weeks in the episodes and see about that it was just basically some wind down which we had some storms but it really hasn't done an any half like it's just an a bone that's a shoot on this so it has really really recovered and it is the tallest of the bunch here that's what I wanted to say it's shuttle two two and a half feet so this is the only one that could really say I'll just show you the canopy there now it's pretty even and I'm standalone need give it a look here amongst the other five despite them being you know or you know four were different strains but I've noticed yet the citta mikhyl hey is this girl she has a bit of a stretch to her so just as well I did a bit of extra topping and trying to spread her out a little bit because I think no that's one to watch special you're growing indoors you wouldn't need too many one or two adapt and a scrog I read a way to fill out your okay okay so I'm very pleased with the five ways okay amazing progress looking very healthy doomed you know tremendously well and in this really intense heat you know that's the one negative factor here isn't heat stress is beginning to bother the L am the agent just a bit now she looks she had mostly green I can assure you a few days ago she wasn't looking too good I shall spin her around smokes you can find knows that a lower growth well yeah we got and that looked familiar sometimes you see this indoor growers when it sees frayed brown edges yeah those look like like burn that's heat stress that's basically sunburn for plants is what's happened to her and that basically happened at a pretty rapidly I noticed she got a touch of it the last heatwave and it was mostly you know just the odd tip here and there but the last couple of days they were really happening it's so so hot and really really dry as well that's the other thing humidity very low here some days it's in like we're talking the high teens at best so the plants are incredibly turocy work don't that's another thing ridiculous volumes of water and have we're looking guys here people so at this stage the more indica plants are also beginning to feed quite differently too the more sativa leaning implants and as you'd expect well skunk in the middle yeah as always that's why I really recommend it no trouble at all just give really average dose of everything and she explodes well in your behalf of the cautious you know I'm most familiar with am a little grown coach so the blue course spray you know they're doing tremendous for me both cities and they're on two milliliters per liter the base nutrients other work you know we're using them sparingly we're working in all the organic supplements likewise for the sand sea star you know and you know she doesn't look a million miles different to them so obviously some shared lineage there and of course the Mendocino skunk just so far the outstanding performer unbelievably bullshit he makes you barely fit her through the door in the evenings when I'm doing my lighter so I have maximum coal all the capacity there but yeah comical haze basic drinks high volume or water but it doesn't really like heavily fertilized feeds you know are heavy doses of fertilizer in in it so low and often is the rule at home with her and that's the same that's why I always stay away from amnesia haze Jackson was that trouble with them but this one yep Erin did it damage from the heat stress she's pretty resilient to have to say overall she's much better than the regular ammo like I I don't think that would survive at all over here it's really only an indoor strain that's that's my personal opinion I've never seen it grown well outdoors even in Spain like it just usually turned into a spindly monster and that was my old II before that before he can get a finished of ever but that this one I got high hopes for I'm gonna hang in there and we're usually after they're using a lot of coconut water and basically you know minimal minimal doses of nutrients very sense of the nutrients one milliliter per liters all she'll take so that's why you know if you want to see more on the fertilizers and everything I'm using check out last week's videos the new the nutrient folder for focus on photo period special to clear things up for you and basically I'm very happy this week and I'm really glad in my selections Australians that I really you know split it open it was pretty diverse about it and you know try to include things from all and to the cannabis spectrum because you know this is really I decided my second season outdoors here so I'm still getting the grips with so I had an idea but Kosh genetics would do well for me but I'm also I'm very glad really glad to introduce some skunk and got the haze in as well because although haze in particular little bit trickier so fiber looking worth it I'm gonna hang on in there okay folks just one last thing yeah to summarize on the lights a privation I am gradually reduced and I didn't just do a straight-up 1212 like I did last year I've put more targets where I'm gradually doing it so I went from the natural right now there's still about 15 Aires available so I kick that down to Turkey okay so then each night as the week as this week of fair and has done on you know 5-10 minutes here I've been working that closer start taking the man at seven because as we get later on now and the summer sunrise is going to be closer to 7 a.m. so I'm gonna hit that natural 12:12 if you following me sometime in the next week or so and then it's gonna be actually below 212 errors because it's just going to be young and we still taking them in at that same 7 o'clock ok or the song is going to be rise and that little bit later it doesn't matter yeah it's gonna be you know sat in that little bit more chair in here when I'm already taking the Nanticoke lahars ahead so it doesn't matter it's been a while before we can't joke so yeah if you are doing light tap yourself one of the most frequently asked questions I was gettin is you know once I have them in Flour one do I need to maintain it absolutely if you can if you can kind of try and mimic you know the natural you know you no longer noises as the season wears on I know you can't do it exactly well you know a few minutes here and there rather than just leaping down from whatever it is 15 or 16 hours down to 12 and then trying to maintain that well is tricky because then you might you know you might be taking a man you know a few are a few minutes earlier then leaving them out you know now keep it simple folks and make sure you keep up your light deprivation once you start because because of you know all the way down okay that's all from me folks at the end of day 67 back with you next week also reminder please like and subscribe for more I support the show best way you can give it a thumbs up and share it with a friend thanks very much I'll see you next week have a great weekend folks

I've been following along since April, nice job! Are you doing a smoke report on the sweet gelato? I'd love to know what that's like.

Your ladies are looking lovely, with the exception of a little sunburn. I went straight to 12-12 with my 2 on light deprivation, and now 2 weeks in, they are well into bloom. Hopefully your heat wave will not adversely affect your grow too much. Lovely to see how they are progressing. Cheers and thanks for another entertaining and informative episode.
