Sam Mikulak has solidified himself as one of the country’s top male gymnasts. A two time Olympian with six U.S. all around titles. Another spectacular routine for Sam the man Mikulak. Mikulak has repeatedly risen to the occasion on the national stage. I love competing when the crowd erupts and they’re cheering for you. It’s that adrenaline rush that I really live for. But his international performances have often fallen short. That’s going to hurt. His first Olympics in London didn’t quite go as planned. Oh boy that was the weakest we’ve seen from Sam. One year later at the World Championships a major mistake pushed him from the podium. Absolute and utter heartbreak a just-missed World Championships for Sam Mikulak. And in Rio he missed the medal stand by less than a point. Unfortunately just wasn’t quite good enough had to settle for fourth. The 2018 World Championships could have been another almost. Disbelief. So often has been so close to greatness and just kind of fell short. In his final event at Worlds. It was Sam Mikulak versus the high bar again, this time Sam won. The wait is over for Sam Mikulak. He wins an individual medal that’s a bronze. Now a team veteran Mikulak’s dreams of Olympic success continue to drive him. His big moment perhaps still lies ahead. I’ve been focusing so much on trying to build that confidence so that when I do get up there there’s not a single shred of doubt that I’m about to do the most amazing routine of my life.

Wait what? everyone knows that men from Russia,
China and Japan are the most powerful athletes in the world of gymnastics. I like Sam but he has no chances to win anything in 2019 (even Tokyo 2020). In the other hand USA WOMEN TEAM are the only who can win everything, these girls are in another level with Simone in the team theye are unbeatable. Simone is not my favorite but she is so powerful and she's goin to win her 5th. world title AA next week.

Could the next throwback Thursday be the Rio 2016 Men's Floor event or the Men's pommel horse in Gymnastics + medal ceremony! Both were brilliant!

Standing on the winners' podium with the likes of Uchimura and Zonderland is an achievement in itself.

I really hope Sam keeps this energy into next year at Tokyo, dude is an absolutely beastly gymnast and deserves the recognition. He can do it, Really want him to smash all around and high bar next year.
