yeah I do my name is Rick Carelli nose and I will edit this video is the first of a series called out this game for dummies and today I'm going to show you the differences between this and this that's right today I'm going to tell the main differences between an inline skate and a roller skate so let's families you've never skated before and you're about to choose your first skate but you do not know if you want a roller skate or an inline skate so let's see the advantages of both the road claims has two wheels in front and two wheels in the back that means you have a wider base if you remember wider base in the floor then we'll give you a lot more stability sidewalk did mean that your ankle will feel a lot more stable you won't feel that much your feet trying to go one way or the other because we have two wheels in the floor these days or based on the skate you can have wider basis also on the roller skate you have a toe stop these dokdo will make it easy for you to start skating if you never skated you can step on it and from stepping on the toe stop you start skating there's a different type of boots on roller skates depending on the type of roller skating that you want to go for you should choose a boot you have roots which raise you like this one your curved flat boot more like a sneaker style dude and the main difference we both it's the position that your body goes I would say if you're scared of falling backwards this will help you not to fall backwards that much because your weight will be a little bit more on your toes and you can try it out some escapes it's a lot easier to squat super super low if you raise your heel on these case means that you can make your knees more without falling backwards that easy it will still happen and that's why you always need to expression with your Sheen against the top of this case but there will be something to learn on your next lesson when it comes to wills Rose Kings and in landscapes at different worlds as we can see the rollerskating wheels are Wonder and they have a sled rolling surface the main advantages of ending and will like the inline skate is that you can skate on the edges which means when you turn you go on one side of the wheel or the other side of the world but the roller skates and the trucks these trucks when you apply pressure on one side this will allow you to turnings which means that you don't need to do anything else to turn on roller skates other than putting pressure of course your body needs follow cause it's your body not follow you are in this Pollock this is also something to learn on our next lesson roller skating boots can also be soft or hard this is a roller dirty boot which usually needs to be a lot more supporting support is because they need to discuss faster in to do quicker turn then it escapes to be a lot more responsive and something like this which is a lifestyle case something like to cruise around the promenade or just to scale around with your friends Kate the link these ones are not only supportive but they will also protect you from someone kicking you stepping on you and all that on these ones I mean who's gonna get kicked when its case on the roller rink in his friend some new roller skate also have this thing in the middle which is called a grind lock and that's for all for a different type of skating when you skate with these four wheels to is front to the back roller skates already know in ramps and right me skating read some of the tricks that you can do will be sliding with these on the edge of the ramps but that's something you if you only know then you're first that on skates I don't think that's what you're looking for so let's get back into the differences between Roth skates and images now going to investigate even change you can have like hard boot just like this all plastic which is usually super supportive and also more protective this is like a trick skate they call it aggressive skate you can also use for a rib cage skate around the city to inspect engine cars it's usually the way more durable state but you can also use something like these and this is a tri skate because it has three will and it's a soft dirt the top not plastic he like the other one that I just show you the main difference is usually comfort when you have a soft built is usually more comfortable you can type the ladies and adjust ultimately you want the top of the boot to be on your food when it comes to be the three wheels the trim wheels are different from four wheels and the main difference is in between these is usually the size of the wheels they're about the same length but the four wheels which is a more traditional way of scaling will have your reveal over to the ground which for some people means more control and when your first sign amount of time you just care again higher to the ground so this will make you feel I would say more confident a second date once it's more like a psychological thing about the competence cups on the big wheels you can roll through all types of surfaces controls are bigger which means that you want feels every little crack and a little taller before also the middle wheel will work as a pivot point which will make it a lot easier for you to turn it it's easier for you to turn it will also be easier for you to stop there's also other types of skating this I wouldn't call this speak Gates is more like a marathon skate the main difference between American skating speed and the speed skates mainly the height of the boot if the boot was a little bit lower this would be a speed skate but as you can see this one also has three wheels the frame it's a lot longer which means that the front wheel and the back wheel and way further why do you want this well if you're starting that's not the type of kid that you're looking for the Tees means more stability yes being a lot harder to stop but when you push and we struggle be a lot more powerful usually the we'll go speed skates also a bigger course these blooping here in the middle is usually bigger which means that the rubber is thinner bigger course lets you take faster smaller course more rather more comfortable these are just some differences between raw skates and inline skates so if you're only now starting to skate it's up to you to know it go to adapt more to the type of sitting that you want to do but in US aid our today's date just drop me a comment down below and let me know where exactly it next lesson will be out next week and will be about your first step on your new skates hope you enjoy this one and don't forget to subscribe to the channel Cheers we'll be

I use quads(roller skates) but I tried inline and it’s WAY easier probably because I ice skate but it feels more comfortable than roller skates

The only reason I have blades, cause I ice skate, and I find it easier to translate the movements on both ice and land. However, I'd want some roller skates, cause the asphalt is too rough around here. My only problem is the idea of having my body follow the pressure on the 2 back wheels….

Awesome video brother. I used to skate in childhood . So after all these years in looking to skate again but am not sure which skate to buy. I was opting for a roller skate and maybe once I get a hang of it il maybe switch to inline. Let me know what you think as well. Thanks

I’d like to know which is more comfortable for skating on roads/ outdoor tracks (concrete) / sidewalks? I remember skating as a kid with mostly inline outside and I just remember my feet hurting after awhile. I do have wide feet, may make a difference? πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈ

Trying to get back into skating. Thought the roller skates (quad) would be easier. But proves to be more difficult for me. Last time I skated was with in-line ones. I just ordered a pair hoping those will be easier for me.
