serious situation guys and I'm sure a lot of you can relate to this so we just got a bunch of snow right there yeah you got a bunch of snow and you want to go skiing if your kid checking that Snowdon calculator in the night before even if it's not a snow day you're up so late anyways they're gonna sleep through your alarm if you're a college student you won't come to that class anyway let's be honest if you have a job you shouldn't fight your boss go skiing with you point is you're going skiing but then you get hit with that hundred plus dollar living insane and they won't accept any amount of ice I give them probably cuz it was a half melted snowball but still now I'm gonna be honest I really only came for the waffles so here's how it's gonna go down we need another option now you could go snowshoeing yeah I'm passing on that one too it's essentially just more difficult walking I know you couldn't cross-country skiing you don't need a hill for that now do you well don't be fooled I know this seems physically impossible but I swear there is always more uphill and downhill I don't know how they do it so guys looks like we're gonna have to make our own Jay left now some of you guys may remember over the summer I did some projects with a giant fan put it on a boat put it on a bike super fun but then it ended up there can attacking me it's my biggest fan – so sad kind of left it on a bad note with that one but I don't think the design itself is really stupid like people have paramotors all the time which is basically what I made the only problem was the cage itself was not nearly strong enough so it's like in debt to my arm got pulled a weird way into the thing you guys know the story but before I rip this thing apart because I'm actually making a human-sized drone I want to do one last project with this just so we end on a good note and to make sure I don't slice off my other arm I'm going to reinforce the crap out of this cage and then we're gonna put it on some skis so we don't have to pay that pesky lift ticket here's the demon child of mine that I created the problem is I designed this cage to protect stuff like leaves and other debris from hurting the propeller so all I used was like this flexible tubing that that can indent pretty easily I didn't make the cage wide enough so you can easily just press in and the blade will hit it big mistake didn't even think my arm could bend that way so right over here is where the damage occurred you can probably still see a little bit my blood on there so we need to reinforce the crap out of this cage let's swap out this flimsy tube for some we replaced the plastic tubing with some metal and now when you hit it doesn't Bend it all and your hand won't hit the propeller there's still a little bit of give right here and if you really push you can make contact with the propeller so around the ring right where the propeller is above this metal piece and below this up black piece I'm going to add some aluminum just make absolutely sure that nothing comes in directly at this angle and that gets sliced by the blade and I think that should be good here is what I have done so far there's really no way my hand can get anywhere near this if I swing it at it yes I'm going full-on karate with this the current plan is to not actually put this on my back so I can bail at any time we're going to actually mount it to a stool like this and put some skis on the bottom of the stool that ladies and gentlemen is how to make your very own chairlift [Applause] [Applause] guys I'm just as lost as you are I don't even know what this thing is what do you even call this thing get a look at it though oh yeah chips up all right let's do a little bit of testing let's try turning this on I should say I am terrified of this thing for good reason – OH sound of my nightmares right there that works is this cage out for a second so I've got this thirty nine and a half foot pole right here let's see what happens if we turn it on to hit this with it will it do any damage okay well that's a good sign plus it for maybe sitting on it right here I can bail off at any time which I think it's safe to say by no means safe but much more safe than by four that's a tongue-twister safe to say by no means safe but much safer than before so still don't ever try anything like this I just feel like we have to end on a good note with this thing before I rip it apart and put up my giant drone project over there so this ladies and gentlemen is how to avoid paying for lift tickets of course you do have to buy like a couple hundred dollar electric motor but that's irrelevant just don't don't don't think about it too much [Applause] all right since none of my friends wanted to help you with this one they said it was too dangerous slick I'm riding solo for this one today kids I'm gonna teach you how to not spend your money on lift tickets when instead spend them on horribly dangerous oversized electronics so what it's so freakin cold out here right now should a fire project the giant fan blade doesn't worry you maybe the fact that this is almost all velcro we'll see if we let this thing go and what's the worst that could happen now it's all the way down there the ability check is it go kind of wish that sat on it though that would have been way cooler safety first good thing I also chose the appropriate Footwear trying to bend it down there see if this thing works I just like to point out I'm at like a public like cross-country ski area like people all around casually over here with my fan sled getting a lot of weird looks all right guys now the hilltop see if this is a suitable chairlift replacement [Applause] sunny imma do with the class down alright guys well that about wraps up this video if you did like it remember to Like comment subscribe all the classic youtubers stuff I'm and definitely follow me on Instagram because but I can't feel half my mouth cuz so freakin cold outside now but have but make sure to follow me on Instagram now because it's been posting a lot of behind the scenes stuff especially with my flying drone projects like you don't want to miss out on that so definitely go follow me there at jail there's a video I'm gonna go inside now because I can't feel half my foot but thank you guys very much for watching and I will catch you in the next one thanks

Now find a way to use rubber bushings at the attachment points on the skis so you can lean to steer. Your welcome.
