you [Applause] [Applause] well welcome everyone to the predator world ten ball championships this is George stay a chair in the booth with Jeremy Jones bringing you this match live from Las Vegas Nevada at the Rio all suites hotel and casino Jeremy look at these players that we have yeah unbelievable for Fedor Gorst and Matt Edwards two young players from a ways away from Las Vegas at the other side of the planet but sure can play in both in the last couple years getting a lot of big exposure and some big events sure this man breaking my gosh he's a he's a world junior champion he's 19 years old from Russia got here leaving his world ranking unfortunately he lost his first match to Tyler steyr and his broken dry yeah and I watched him warm up quite a bit breaking trying many different types of breaks and the reason why he was doing that is because not many were very successful as he's struggling with a break yeah well it seems so at least on this table you know it can vary table the table well this young man right here is a 31 year old New Zealand player he is sponsored by Kamui mez excellent billiards he has a tiller supply store back home and he was sent to the one loss side by Mark bestir Bosch from the Holland yeah mark won those louts there no poor loss as far as Marc's plan really fantastic pull the last few years well out of sixteen players playing right now in eight matches we have three Americans although I believe omen counts as an American even though he's German but he lives in the u.s. well now he's representing Germany for sure okay I'm pretty sure anyway domain goes don't mean kiss been boning at Lombardo the three Americans playing and two were playing each other Shane's fighting for his tournament life he's on the one loss side he'll he Thorpe I sent him over last night last night's match you know they asked me earlier kind of who I like Stu and I still kind of like Shane to win the tournament for some reason we met Jim mention it earlier that we're playing it down to the final 16 eight winners ain't losers then we're gonna have a redraw meaning a winner against a loser right for the final 16 and single elimination so all records will be wiped clean at that point yeah last the last 16 players will be racing to 10 and not eight but a single elimination from there on in I'm tricky little shot here he's gotta spin the ball or just get dead between the nine ten that doesn't really seem like much o any man of God may have gotten there and if that was the I think he did now this is another one he's you know by his body English that tells me I think Horner sticking out for me I think he's got a shot at the funny yes I do I think he's he's saying to himself man huh oh he got oh yeah wish I was trying that he got I think he got pretty perfect as far as what could have happened no exactly but it's gotta go by the tent here the camera man stepped in my way there's a good shot of it right there yeah and he's got a dead roll this conic is going into the tent firm is tricky look at that okay so that's gonna be an over here but that's because I was a little sacrifice and making sure he gets good clean contact on the five and it's just a tough one to dead roll the ball especially being over the pocket like that you want to put a hair more on it for those of you just joined us in this tournament this is the predator world ten ball championship this is a race to eight ten ball this is alternate break format we are usually we were playing by WPA rules the last ball pocketed must be the ten to win the game if it's made on a combo or a billiard it plays like any other ball gets spotted immediately you continue to shoot yeah I was gonna mention that I would have had to draw that around the table just because when you're going on that rail kind of hugs a little bit when you hit it so hard and it really takes a lot of energy off the cue ball and I thought he could have maybe you know drew to the back rail and spun it out to rails and down towards the seven but regardless it was a tough shot and a little bit unfortunate to get held up by the side pocket oh yeah but that's twice he's flirted with both those sides and one in our opening Rach well let's hope the third time isn't the charm yeah another one of those kicks that surprisingly these top players become very accurate any time the line you're kicking on and you can see the object-ball it's all in your peripheral all in your the way you're shooting seems like you become very accurate all of a sudden it's funny because I've seen I've seen basically all the pros to rail kick this ball trying to make it this is very very same shot close to the middle of the table just off the rail and they'll kick at it with good speed – this won't be real hard okay he'd barely missed it but he did miss it a ball in hand for fedor after a drive break and a a little bit of a scrambling run there for Matt Edwards but well Fedor broke the ball so he's back at the table fortunately for him and we are playing all ball files so he doesn't want to they don't want to touch a ball there is not a presiding referee there's one that's racking the balls and but they only get called into the arena to make the call they won't if they see a filed and they're the player doesn't say word I don't believe that it gets played as a foul early okay now wise we saw that in the first in a match with with Earl actually you were commentating that match Earl actually touched the 10 ball and Ralph sookay questioned John Menard ref okay that's what they were talking about we're talking about the did John does not see it or did John say it's up to him to call it's up to him to call it and that's what oh just like the outer upset yes okay that's fine good rule yeah well same as the outer ocean Ralph didn't know that that it was all ball files he wasn't sure so he didn't say anything he won the game anyway so it didn't make a difference yeah and went on to win the match yep Foote Feder wins the first game anyone's the first net game and hold serve I'm forced he's very he plays a lot of Euro tours so he's very used to the all ball fouls and I won't that won't be much of an issue really with any of the players it could happen and we've seen it happen in some big moments but for the most part that's something they're gonna handle and I'm really surprised that's why I'd like to almost see the video on I'm moving at ten below that yeah I'm the reason why is because Earl is like I know Earl can be a little bit I was actually sitting next door right next to you guys and I wrote that down I was gonna hand that to you yeah yeah well that you know Earl sometimes is you know what's the right word explosive well explosive controversial maybe that's the right word you know for some and a great you know I've been a great ambassador for our sport been a lot of things for our sport and but one thing is he's the most as far as worrying about something happening I was worrying about when we used to play rack for each other I think if Earl would have been realized he touched the tent he would have handed ball in hand I've seen might do it many times right well he's probably looking at the shot just didn't realize it cuz definitely a fair sport maybe but that's that's when you can miss it we talked about it with the template if you break right there he was breaking from his left and he crossed it over and hit the extreme right part of the one well that's when the balls kind of lose track a little bit we are sponsored by predator acute sports international diamond billiard products Kamui and Omega billiards and Fodor maybe in a push-out situation here and not a real nice one because anytime you can't you don't you're you're not offered to push out to both sides of the one or both sides of whatever ball you have to push out for well now things become tricky because you can see that's why he's rolling out to more of a challenge than he has an easy safety to where he could clip it and move the ball around the table because things are difficult here no see I like hitting the top of the one ball as we see it on the screen but there's a possible scratch there so I think you'll avoid that I'm thinking to back up and trying to get behind those six that's pretty subtle and there's a few gaps but these guys are going and from this situation and that's kind of what he rolled out to was a challenge yeah I think so yeah you can be aggressive coming down with the cue ball nothing's for certain on the two but this won't be hitting hit super lightly and you have an element of not giving up a shot not saying that happened here but yeah there was you know maybe got around something or yeah there was and he let off it probably a little bit right George was a little light weighted yellow white with the cheering that the cue at the end there it looked like it looks like you might have a shot can't really tell with the eight ball there yeah well if he does I think drawing the ball is bringing him back into the eight and going forward there's a heck of a lot of traffic especially maybe a hair elevated so you may see him take a little more cinch on this and just draw back into the eighth and get open on the two and work from there well you're looking at the top view of the table and that's beautiful predator xk2 cloth it will get some shots later on oh the balls they're predator also and I wouldn't try and do too much here if it didn't they're trying to get to the good side of the to make it cause a miss I just probably get okay got over there it's not easy though and it doesn't seem doesn't look like a full pocket on the two and he's got a level out and rolled it in its gonna go into the nine with the cue ball this is a big shot early in the match and they keep it this shot is don't let up on it he played shape there like he really liked it so but don't let up on this because you don't want the cue ball to glance off the nine and get over this over the seven get through this a little bit and sacrifice a little more distance I never cut it for the time being I mean he's gonna be able to cut something but you stick the cue ball off the bottom rail you had to find it yes you can and should be pretty accurate with it you could roll it the reason why you could roll it is the six is there so even if you don't creep him behind the forward with the cue ball you've figured – unless you leave the two over the side you figured not to leave a shot up in the corner on the two a drawing it you get a pretty good feeling for the shot so he looks like he's gonna roll it but there's a lot of protection in this shot so it's okay see you so it's like kind of jelly roll right there and then maybe you don't leave the two all the way down if you don't smoke rooms especially with the speed and four doors in trouble if he can't get between the five and ten with the cue ball and that looks like that's the case they can't shoot between the 10 and seven and bend it back man this is oh it looks like you can maybe get between the five and ten well yeah that's the definite way even if you have to jump it a little bit I think that's easier than anything else okay you wanna shoot the two by the six here as long as it's not any question ongoing or not because you want to leave the four to get to the five different patterns I mean you could shoot a two-for combo but oh I was thinking that I would put the cue ball against the rails should the two ball in the up in the corner pocket and roll for the three in the opposite corner then I have the have the floor after that sitting down a rail like this and I was a six being there you have to flip play from above quite a bit now you're talking about maybe shooting a three from on the rail above but this either way really kind of like whatever your preference is I like your shot if you could keep the cue ball off the rail pretty nice sure well since the two ball was off the rail and the cue balls against it you should be able to come off the rail yeah that works I mean it's just no problem with those types of shots I just feel the other one is easier for me it's easier right the preference again like what you said okay a little I probably not question the speed if I feel like I can hold it above the 5 I still come into the 10 ball with just but I don't want to draw into the 10 ball I have to be able to just roll it would write English and let it check up because a lot of people have lost the cue ball going around the 5 before and hit and over hit it over he could get behind it too right yeah well they just they just don't anticipate the speed of this table well that's pretty nice I don't recall seeing and under hit on this table at all it's been as far as a mistake I mean it's been mainly the overhead I overheard somebody say that Darren Appleton said this is probably the fastest table he's ever played on Wow it's pretty fast and then it's also the dry conditions right here in Las Vegas good clean pool balls good shot of the 19 year old from Russia I would have to imagine these two have played each other before it's some form a tree yeah well New Zealand does he get in for the Euro tours that I'm not a hundred percent of I'm sure he's played in a few i wouldn't think he would make that's a pretty long trip not taking anything away from the arrow tours but that's a long trip regardless okay that's gonna rest on the rail and make it to where he's got to put some speed on the cue ball now shouldn't be a problem but he's gonna want to come back to that side of the table he around yeah and he's right on that angle he could do it with a high inside ball so probably gonna punch it a couple rails around though and elevate it I couldn't see it from here overhead is so much but and just kind of like 45 degrees on the cue and really punch to the angle struck it well though yes he did I mean when I saw I didn't I couldn't tell he was elevated I had the screen in my way I couldn't see him I was watching monitors I saw it on the monitor like you said you couldn't tell he was elevated no looks pretty comfortable with the pace of this table I believe it's his first match on that I'm a TV table I have not seen him on the TV table I think I think Matt was here for the 9-ball kind of recall seeing a few of those guys from down under yes there was a few and we're tied at one let's take a look at our little live scoring I know that the three Americans two Americans that are in two of the three are making a statement Domingues leads might in Keo three two one and Van boning leads Lombardo five two one che making a little bit of a statement there well I mean first yeah excuse me his first loss and you only missed that four ball and that was it so oh no excuse me that was the nine ball yeah it was yeah that's what I heard uh we do have to see the rope chain the only played very very well Shane had a couple of breaks that weren't very Shane like and and Billy was able to kind of come away with a match it was hard fought and it was it was well played he didn't really make a lot of mistakes many mistakes I will see Fedor would practice a really light break and then he practiced a harder break and he was struggling with both now he's got made to 7oq ball Wow what a kiss Wow you see that so often we talked about that during one of the matches how they just break so well that the cue ball gets kissed around with all the object balls move it around now that one sometimes you'll pop the break and you know you'll send it towards that side and it wasn't going I'll get kissed in it but it's a little your fault because you got it so close to the side but that one was a nod kiss from behind that you don't see much of well this is looking pretty straightforward as long as he doesn't get behind anything he's got paths through the three-ball from two sides yeah eight ball kind of sits in the middle of both of them yeah and I would get positioned as quick as I could here because this is just what the racks about as you said Georgia make this two ball and I'm probably come one real I don't want to get a lot of speed on the cue ball and just stay right in between the eight and nine from some distance and then just play the four on the side he could come around but I think one rails the the better player especially on this table I like that the best that's just that's absolutely perfect ideal yeah and you notice how he didn't mind six feet no yeah take no chances you probably played the four ball on the side come right out for the five if you get straighten on the five this game should be over and that's where like that two ball a lot of people say well if you come to rails you're on the line you want but you're putting speed on the cue ball then and things can get away from you or a little bump on the nine could be hazardous in those positions whenever balls a real handicap position as quick as you can on that first one happens to nibble tonight he stood behind it for right that's what I mean yeah anytime you're putting a little more speed to create a line with a little bit of a Miss it when you miss the target and things can go wrong well as far as to open a match I'm not sure I've seen anybody that looks more comfortable with the speed of the table and you've had some exhibitions a few matches that with last week on last week's event in this week's event for those of you joining us for the president world ten ball Jeremy and I and and Jimmy White had the pleasure of commentating the Diamond Las Vegas open nine ball and that was a treat because a lot of the players in fact most of the players from this event played in that so we got to watch them here we had a couple of players well the ones that were first and second put on an exhibition what what a school Ian they gave us well he gave me oh for sure how they played great and it wasn't just them I mean there were somebody you know those they did it the most so that's something special but there were many great matches played and we've had many already yesterday and today I believe this is the last match for the night we'll start tomorrow at O tomorrow at 10:00 don't we the matches do but I believe starts a new at noon yes it'll still be noon to thirty five o'clock and 7:30 and for the players though we started to the M yeah and then Thursday I'll take us into our single elimination round and then Friday we'll have two semifinals in a final those will all be races to ten and the single elimination now we scheduled the matches two and a half I was a part in anticipation of having some matches that might go a little longer but for the most part these have been being they've been finished completed an hour an hour fifteen minutes some have run the full time just a couple really yeah just shows you for the most part of how well everyone's playing and you know as the tournament goes these guys need that little break there the guys on the loser side you're gonna have to lost early matches are gonna have to play quite a bit just to get to that final 16 so I think it's a really a great schedule yep just come Friday we'll have three matches for you 12 3:30 and 8 p.m. and that's a great schedule as far as letting some of the rest of the world get to view this sure with the exception you know that APM match gets a little late for the you know East Coast but I'm sure that for a great match that they're gonna have it's worth staying up til 11 o'clock oh yeah the match let me on two one and and breaking the balls in the fourth payment super solid so far missed the break a little bit on the break in just a hair from the left missed it on the right side in this opening break try to correct that he's so good to through through the two racks that he he controlled it one that's much better horrible kiss Wow still didn't make one oh now he didn't make the two ball yeah and went down now they both gotten too bad kids in a scratch and that was wicked well good opportunity for a Feder let's see what he does with this junior champion does Manny's got him somewhat the first two shots pretty easy and it's good to cube over for the four and then state ID on the five you'll see the six seven near each other this event is truly an international event we have ten American players seven Filipinos seven Chinese Taipei for Japanese for Polish three Austrian two Chinese we have players from Peru Argentina Mexico Estonia New Zealand Albania pretty international flavor and we have a couple of a mouth he's gotten pretty nice on the three coming over for the four it just depends but most likely play the five in the same side pocket a few shots for now I don't carry him toward the six naturally just stop it for the five and played in the side rolled onto the six I mean I think so yeah I mean no reason to move the cue ball and that's a pretty nice position there the six goes in either hole which you would like to go for the six in the lower pocket but you got to be careful to where you're not bringing the cue ball into the nine so there's a little concern there so one of the concerns about playing shape for the side pocket if you're out of the right line you going away from where you want to be well things quickly go awry that's for sure not as much room for errors playing for the corners to going right on top of the six here gonna test it good speed though any time you're coming up close on it uh speeds off a little bit the angle becomes much more sharp quickly come straight over for the eight in the same pocket more likely we might be able to hold it there yeah that's kind of preference me myself I'm very confident and holding the ball there and I know I'm never over hitting it and getting like you know this shot here coming across on a slick table looking you can over hit him get on the rail easily okay I'm he was aware of that nice shot well seems Shane van bONIES making the statement in his match over with Hunter Lombardo he now leads a six to one and Mario he leads six to two over send Orton taught and Federer is well on his way to tie this up he's in a good position here real natural to come to rails right towards the 10th he's studying that angle that's a half ball hit he's gonna make sure he doesn't come into that side pocket coming from the headrail the unfortunate but I've seen it done it's got a little English to check way over very well done yeah both players real solid so far after you unfortunate kisses on the break get our match tied here to a piece and we're back on break better started out the started out breaking scores tied would be his break the Argentinian from mister costo is leading Darryl Appleton three two one four to one now four to one they just okay hasn't updated the and then Yukio is three two one over Reuben de Bautista from Mexico Torsten Holman and mr. Kaplan are tied at two at domingus it was leading three to one is now tied at threes with Mattie continue that's quite a name but he can be new Wow Vatican II know you got it yeah finally you pronounce that before us I don't believe so Casper Mata Canino from Finland oh yeah I don't have actually okay here break in the game number five better Gorst i like placing the cue ball just off center there in the center of the table for this tenth ball let's see where the three ball goes and drape on the nine ball three ball went way short the nine ball didn't even challenge the pocket on the side there he's made that no he hasn't made one again and that's what I was saying he was really struggling with his break prior to the start of the match I think you go with this uh this one bald and just avoid the seventh and come back up towards the ten you should have a shot of the deuce am I crazy you just bring two rails up and make two rails up yeah he's gonna he's gonna try and get shape that's for sure and I think that's the path he could heavy spin it but I don't see that let his stroke out if he hits the seven he could hold there too some bad things could happen but it looks like he's hit it pretty close to perfect ideal and he's not out of the woods but one heck of a shot to get this fifth game started now he's gonna have to draw the cue ball back into position it's in now just up to the 10 well but I'm trying to really put the six be in there it's hard to get shape on the four go around the six perfectly you're coming into a real small shallow angle trying to get position on the four so maybe he shoots this draws back and then draws one row over for the four make sure do you get to the three though he got there and then some he's not gonna like where he got maybe well he was worried about a little bump on the 10th and that's what happens you put a little more on it you hit up here and you go right by that ball that's one of the cases where I don't mind bumping the ball as long as it's not gonna give me trouble stay to the left it should be okay I'm just gonna draw up to it and he's he's gonna have to go back I'd look for him to play say he wants to go for this shot I think the lab wall might have a little piece of it you can off the rail well I think it's I think it's clear I think the three goes by the ten and the nine but it's gotta have pretty nice speed going back and forth for position I think the four maybe passes the seven yeah the three goes okay so this may tell me he's gonna shoot this and tranq him either three rails to the center at the table near the seven for the for the four or back and forth with inside English it could be just chipping this downward and playing safe but I don't think so Wow look at this shiny I shot a little bump oh I love what a great shot and really a nice speed on that meaning the cue ball wasn't ever getting away from now here's where I'm just looking for a shot he could kind of nipple the four and try to get behind the six or can he just come off the 4-ball just real thin to the left side and come back and stay behind the five that one I think it's more know that I like that one much better if he had looked at that I think he would do that though the left side of the four is available but the right side behind the six is very touchy I didn't mind this shot either and I think he knew that the four even if he didn't get the snooker wasn't gonna be available with the sixth a six day yeah that's that's good right that's why I said you're next to you so you can tell me all these shots well I don't know if I would have hit it that well but I kind of felt like coming backwards in some kind of way might have been all right a pretty smart shot there that was yes it was I'm not saying he made the three ball look like a smart shot as well as difficult as it was just because the speed he could hit the cue ball like a lot of people really want to hit that type of cut with a lot more slot more pace and I think you realize he's on a fast fast table and I was okay with just a little bit more than pocket speed but not much more okay Feder at a young age one of the best players in the world with the short queue and this you may see a trick shot here you see the four off the eight of the high ball back in the lower right hand corner because I think you got this in a funny spot to play safe if you cut the four over and run the cue ball I mean you may get a little bit of a safety but if you don't you're gonna be buried up behind the nine ten or something like that on the next shot across the corner maybe what's wrong the referee to take care of something in there both both players are standing off to the side of the arena and the referee walked over to the side I can't see what the referee is discussing something with John Lehman our tournament referee had a head of all the referees there and both players looking rather attentive to see what comes out of that I didn't have something to do with the shot Federer just made did it I don't jump shot sure don't know but that question by the referee for something she's over either getting a ruling or clarifying whatever it was he questioned I could not tell what it was well that's Shane is still now he's ahead 7 to 1 Mario he is on the hill it's 7 to 1 7 2 3 excuse me Darren Appleton is struggling down 1 2 5 against mr. Castro Adrian Castro from Argentina he performed well in the nine ball he came in fourth we have this match tied 2-2 I'm not sure what the situation is I think that's something to do with the last shot thinking had Edwards this appointment maybe like over back in action well whatever it was has been resolved and mantas back at the table taking a look at something to do with his four ball Jeremy feels he might play it to the right hand corner pocket off the eight well I'm not sure he knows that shot or sees it really right now and I guess he's gonna chip the four over and let the four in the middle of the in round try and go straight up the table for safety like I said the problem is if you let him see any piece of this most likely he's gonna really be able to put something on you like put you behind the nine ten or it's not going to be good for you even though he's shooting from a long ways away so I may have looked at the cross corner even on that with the five being over the side I don't think he would have been that big of an underdog on the bank okay nor the four make the proper hit to get behind the nine looks pretty nice Wow it came out a little almost came out a bunch I don't say I'm mad enough well I tell you now if you're gonna swerve it won a carom shot on the six maybe it's gonna throw the six to the side rail too much but sometimes cams lay where you can hit half the ball or core of the ball and you still make it not sure if he called something or if he called extension all right he's going to try and hit it full better gets ball in hand they're tight at 2/5 right so why wouldn't you follow this ball in the position no I always like to follow with ball in hand just he's gonna draw it it looks like he could shoot this easily in the other side pocket and just follow forward and you're always gonna be I think a little more accurate you're never gonna miscue and especially with the draw shot yeah that's what I mean mm-hmm I mean he's it's great with it and I'm just saying overall if you shot it a thousand times I think you're gonna be a little better with the follow that's the youth today I think because I think in my opinion the follow the follow shot is always much more accurate than the draw shot yeah well yeah you you're normally running the ball but when you have no question on making the ball so like sometimes the drawl gives you a better feeling on pocketing certain shots and just like follow does but yeah with ball in hand I always like to roll into position because I'm looking where I'm going as well which makes me feel like I'm gonna be more accurate okay didn't put too much on that one now it appears the nine goes by the ten up long I mean there is a spot a place just like kind of where the seven is at where you can cut the nine but you don't want to contact the ten from a thin cut on the nine so maybe he plays it to open the nine ten up a little bit more well unfortunately for Darren Appleton he has been defeated eight to one and since these were all one lost side matches the predator world ten ball will not be his tournament oh the inaugural winner I'm the world ten ball not this year Oh 2008 I believe gotta watch hitting this ten a little thin okay like that man well I never expect him to go into ten that hard I thought he would hit it just hard enough to move the ten out of the way and leave the cue ball so when that happens if you hit underneath it you can slide to this side round get real steep on the nine one way or another but even worse he got himself snookered I didn't anticipate that Avenue probably trying to kick the now ball past the 10 and maybe hold the cue ball there yeah but I'm not so sure he can do it with Street English ones got to give one way or another I think he did pretty well there though first year yeah and it's like a it's a funny shot because if you want to be the most accurate on the 9 the speed of the cue ball is just gonna leave you a cross-eyed Bank on the 10th which is fine I'm it's a shot you should make so I probably go ahead and play position for the cross side because I think you're gonna make the 9 at that speed a bit more often and I don't mean super soft but but as he called the corner wow he must not be able to get by the 10th yeah nice shot this rageful Wow great shot and that's a nervy shot coming to rails and hitting it soft enough to say stay behind the ten because a lot of times you don't get a rail with the nine exactly as that's they could have easily and that more could have gotten easy right straight down the rail and I caught it for a foul but it caught the railed and came out that would be applause for Shane van bony when he does match more than likely actually that was for Mario Mario he win his match and Shane Van bony both Shane wins over hundred Lombardo eight to one and Mario he over sent or taught eight to four Oh Matt Edwards gonna get a little bit of a cut shot on the nine but one he should handle to get our fifth game and the lead again I like shooting this with inciting mister get on the 10th for the same pocket so it's met and you could see by that he applied that right but very conscious of the speed of the table it seems to me didn't want to go way down didn't want to come up short still playing a little little soft and yeah I mean it's just what you expect even you know we've had I believe these are probably four and a half they might be four four and a half or four now just a shade you can't get the balls inside the corners but it's such a small so maybe four and seven sixteenths I thought you even when we played it four and a quarter on these tournament the TV tables just with the perfect conditions they just play a little more generous and that seems to be the case here with the tables here and this that would change even though say we're on the coast somewhere sure that that might have been a touchy shot on the coast where it's humid oh yeah yeah especially even even a dry climate with this time of year with a kind of a second monsoon season in the southwest and we get that month's a little flow coming out of the Gulf of Mexico adds a lot he brings a lot of humidity of the air fact I saw it in the sky here this morning well I don't know if I'd refer to it as a monsoon it is it really is not so much for Vegas but down lower in Tucson we get that same same clockwise flow out of the Gulf of Mexico and he comes to and brings the showers most of our rain in the in the desert comes through this flow July through September they took a little off that one at the nine for rails though and he's gonna get a pretty good starter on the one see you didn't know my second job was a weatherman didn't know it neither did I I've actually to the southwest all my life so okay up the two passes he's got a nice angle for the one in the corner to drop on the two otherwise it may be a two eight combo which isn't bad either he's just got to pay attention to it with the seven being there it lays pretty nice for it if he studies if he's able to kind of just done the cue ball right there well whichever way he shoots the one will tell you if the two goes or not it passes okay can I have to elevate here or maybe go forward for a 3/8 combo I think he's close enough to it and that it won't matter if he elevates too much won't matter too much it always matters but not too much in this particular instance not up to ISO well a little a little funny here he's elevated again he's got a little bit of an angle and the four doesn't pass the six on the side so or at least I don't think it does oh it's tight it's close it goes in the opposite side but he'd have to roll it there so you may have to draw past this for I'm not so sure he can afford to roll this thing he's gonna have to dig down on the cue ball choose it to the same corner most likely yeah well what a sweet hit that was and really I thought he'd get more out of it than that okay it looks like he's on an angle just a guy had to cue ball right between the five and six I wouldn't shoot this if it was tight probably play the corner probably yeah that's what he's looking at now you don't coming across the ball shooting it to the same side of the pocket the ball wants to throw a little bit towards I'm it's easy one to miss I likes just bearing down he's going for the corner it appeared that way and like I said I think it it just brings the cue ball right between the five six for the same corner for the five five ball or this side well if he plays it in the side he's gonna have to be careful not to bump the six yeah well he's been elevated a couple shots already digging down on the ball he didn't bump the six look good he's looked solid he'll want to shoot this seven with a little bit of an angle probably somewhat near this rail or punch it down a little bit don't want to be kind of straight I wanna be just chipping this seven into the eight and let the cue ball open up across the table okay he decided to come behind it to do the same thing but this one actually you can make both of them as well but yeah and I like the other side a little better one yeah should just be fine but he did well this is pretty straightforward you play this a little almost like rail first year and just slide down no just no he's gonna play more of a Center down the okay just comes that way and Matt is now off to a four to two lead over Feder Gorst 31 year old leaving the 19 year old from Russia New Zealand at this point making a statement in this match so far he's won his games two at a time Feder started breaking so it'll be his break you sure nine-foot diamond tables okay so we had not mentioned it we've got Caplan over Holman for two three capito over whoo five to one and mr. Dominguez is now trailing four to six – mr. mighty ke no well Oscar another player that hadn't put him quite as many competitive rounds lately after taking over the place in Sacramento yep I've been been up there since he's owned it I first went to that place it was a great American billiard some Wow Oh time ago I've had to be 94 94 so I'm like that Wow yeah I played Warren Costanza for about a week straight a monk did you know him I actually played him in Tucson yeah yep played him some one pocket yeah I played him a little bit of rotation poo and then we played one pocket for many days in a row funny shot here now the tins gotten in the way he's made it on the break so that comes to the Spy's not a win now this is what I like trying to really bear him up underneath the 3 and the 9 lays the 2 over towards the 7 job tough hit he can't get between the 3 9 here he's gonna have to arc the cue ball a little bit I think to get up underneath this 7 and get at that to trying to think is there something he can tie up as a productive like to put that three ball that nine ball on top of the three but he can't he's gonna move the nine into traffic into the seven probably and see if he can maybe get two balls rolling towards some congestion all right that's not bad I don't think I think he cut him off the offensive shot on the two so he'll probably get more of a kick shot than he got on the last one you would think I think he's gonna be right up against that nine ball with the – with the – ball being down on the bottom rail no different way no I'm just gonna lay it up on top and put leave it but I think it still may offer some some type of shot around the 10 or underneath the 10 come in a couple rails I think anyways okay maybe not yeah maybe not he might be able to spin down into the dime he can he hit he can hit the center diamond try to hit the bottom rail and come up to the deuce well if he can get below the ten he's he's got a chance for sure pack he's not much of an underdog to not leave a shot you can hit this hard or soft being on a foul you may want to hit it a little more firm and take more chance they're easy to miss the kick coming to rails oh he had a great hit a great return safe uh-huh so that's two really nice kick Safety's in some big moments he had one earlier on the 9-ball where he kicked and we thought he could have maybe got a rail remember on the side rail and a nine and ten on the table and then elect him to go a little softer very accurate here I'm very intended it look like on this two ball well I'd like to bet on fedor for this shot it's crazy huh no scratches well yeah that wasn't what he intended not at all is Fedor on – I know he was the one that played safe originally originally right okay I'm playing this and the side tells me he's gonna play with some angle on the three and maybe not maybe he'll get to where he'll draw back for the three to the four but yeah that's fine that's where I would have wanted to be really especially if I'm gonna play the two on the side cuz he could have shot the two by the nine in the corner and slid over to straight in pretty easily rather than trying to run the cue ball to straight in on the three this is perfect just go three rails with the with the path you have to take between the seven ten it it really offers a nice speed to hold good a good line on the four meaning he's not gonna get on the wrong side of the four he's always gonna be falling towards the five so that's nice yeah real solid so far well I will say I've watched Matt playing a couple of the US Opens and he's playing playing a little little better than that watch them play in the past well I think as far as cueing from what I'd always seen from Matt that's pretty solid with that it's just a matter of a little bit of mental game and learning the game obviously probably played some English a ball or snooker at some time growing up we're down to we're down to six tables of the eight that started two matches are gone actually we're down to five three matches are over a real Castro this looks pretty straightforward just a little come off the rail for the seven things look good for the eight nine stop shot on the 9-ball for the ten yeah if you phone a little bit funny on this angle here just go ahead and play for the angle in the eight rather than trying to really hold the line on the cue ball and get it makes admissible sometimes you'll drive that ball into the what would be the right side rail point if he nibbles the nine ball he's gonna come up by the rail he's perfect but he can't blend you to come straight back and good stroke real solid just go up five to two of these eight nine and ten here and breaking the balls and the eighth game that's controlling this match and Fedora did make one mistake but he had to play safe in a few a few situations and and mattes displayed some really great kick shots very controlled great speed aware of the angle the speed of the ball nice play this is on the one law side the winner of this match well I guess we don't have an opponent for the winner of this match yet do we on that side the winner will play Joshua filler Jos 12:30 tomorrow aren't you I played a real nice match against him earlier yeah diplom 8-0 and now I know Josh got at least one game I think I had left when it was 7 to 1 well Matt to break the balls here trying to get to the hill in this race to 813 world champions here at the Rio walking around it's been an amateur's dream come true they take pictures with all the pros they walk up and shake their hands get to watch my play I mean off can you watch 2 Hall of Famers 58 year old and a 50 year old play on the stream table interesting to see if you can get at this – enough to pocket it in the lower right hand corner by the four I think he can probably lead him to a victory here in this game really and get him to the hill so a big shot on this – I think he can get at it George this level looks you out and come down for the four cue ball falls in place your position on the four five balls available for the side of the corner and the toughest thing would be getting on the seventh see if there's a tough thing there it's not really just get up close to where the 5 is now in the side pocket there and you're there yeah no scratch involved I don't think so go ahead don't baby it too much go ahead and let your stroke out a bit that way get good clean contact pretty darn good this is where you better not mind shooting the 5 in the corner maybe just come straight up the rail yeah and and again it's all about having a little angle because the 6 is accessible in the upper left and the side pocket so you don't need it you just need a half an inch angle to really be nice and you can still get back for the 7 I think you can be dangerous trying to move this up for the side pocket now I would just kind of flick it in and and sacrifice some distance on the 5 to make sure I laid on the rail with the cue ball I think if you happen to get straight you can still do it from a few different places you can stop your ball and shoot right over the side pocket at the six you could go forward and take a cut shot on the 6 and the side which offers position but I think moving it for the side pocket can get a little dangerous here and that's just bike you trying to get closer to that five ball he's played well he's made every long shot I mean just he could have just rolled the four in it with a little bit of left English and gotten you know a little bub the first diamond and that shots not tough at all so now faced with either a bank shot and I think he'll probably slide the cue ball behind the seven eight maybe three real the five behind the six something like that I may be going for it he's played some nice tactical shots so I think that's the pretty accurate play I mean easy to be accurate is what I mean sure now did he not snooker him the six balls got him completely blocked he's got an easy to rail kick to the to the five maybe call it in the side and I'll tell ya pretty impressed with Matt Edwards right there keeping his composure meaning you could easily say I'm up five to let me try and get to six with this cross corner bank after I missed position maybe I get safe with it as well it banks short I draw over here and he just went ahead and said hey I got a play safe let me execute and I got a little the best of it well just amateur mentality yeah okay that's gotta go yeah and the reason why that ended up short I think is I think he really intended on a little bit thinner hit on the five where the cue ball would probably get over that rail but now the one thing he did he did reposition that seven a little bit or the eight one of them it's a little tighter playing position now that's when he when that played safe its exactly we push the seven ball over so now he's gonna gonna want to play it to the upper pocket although I think he just looked at playing it leaving the cue ball against the rail I'm making sure that's available I think he can he just can't handle straight in that's the one that's killer and he almost got there and he almost got to the point to where he may have to draw by this seven yeah and coming out I exactly yeah otherwise he's forcing his bowling and yeah that's what he's looking at now what if what if I drew by this ball to the back rail Paul draws nice almost easier to control that than it is the punch and real controlled trusting the speed probably as much as anybody I've seen on this table even the guys that played really well they still were real real where the speed of the table and that's a real good point thank God he's every bit of the pocket there gave himself an angle to come to rails for the ten maybe three I played the ten ball in the right hand corner pocket and a lot of pressure now on a young Federer course perfect speed and he'll take a 6 to 2 lead he's won the last four games in a row better won his game and then met one to better had won now he's won four in a row looks like fetters gonna take a timeout so during that timeout we'll see where we are with the rest of the players here there's only four games going right now five with this one Yukio is six three over there Bautista captain over home and six three this time capito over will five to two mighty come in O six five over Dominguez so the Finland the Finnish Finnish that's correct with the Mexican from California Oscar Dominguez owner of hard times Sacramento these are one lost side matches oh yeah so whoever gets meteors is out let's see who has already ended their tournament life we've had a couple I know I know Roberto Gomez is out so is James our honest adonis so is Fabio Rizzy from France and so is fan yang from China or Chinese eight ball player he's out as well he's out Wow he started off well earlier just taking on the street match he was leading the match actually I was commentating the match he was leading I had to leave and Jimmy finished that up and right Raymond came back and won hill-hill ate seven rings steady and tough I'll tell you that good young player but the surprise here is James around us being out I player from the Philippines Roberto Gomez is out we should go for don't ski you played so well them that eyeball is out Tony Gwynn is out Oakland kachi is out oh I don't believe he can see the one or not enough to make it and not much as far as being able to place safe if he can just see it a little piece either so probably a jump you maybe I don't know maybe you can kick to the bottom round come across the ball try to play safe maybe get the one down table let the key ball maybe come back up towards the two something like that he's played some nifty ones I'll tell you at that great as well Wow better no air he's gonna kick it I want to kick it kind of about half ball hit maybe try to stay behind the 10th floor yeah well he's looking to see if he can get at it and oh I see between the six I'm being awfully thin a hit to not scratch coming across the ball here this is really tough and you can't let up on it you got to get through that cut shot not to scratch hey babies it did pretty well not gonna get the reward or is he yes yes and that was a tough one to pull the trigger on that type of shot there yeah you know what made that shot possible is that is that you knew felt bad on the table just kept right on going he's gonna go to rails again and we've seen again many nice ones from Matt Edwards as far as the the rail first shots they'll want to come across that one most likely the thing is if he can hit the extreme or either side underneath or on the top top I missed it missed it missed it completely but that five seven eight doesn't make this a straightforward run so we'll see how Feder handles the remaining ten balls there's only ten balls up there right yeah you broke dry yeah kind of missed the break a little bit he's gonna come one real I'm surprised she has an extension here on this first shot and there's some other situations going on with a five seven eight and that's going to be the six later on and it could be a develop into a situation so interesting they use your extension in a ball in hand situation like this now I believe the five-seven plays but the thing is what's the v gonna do is it gonna loud after that you make the five seven is it not gonna be obstructed by the eight some kind of way to continue the run and I got flat here too this was not what he wanted I don't believe you know I was thinking that when he played the two ball there was a possibility he might choose to maybe move the eight by going to rails into it being straightened on the three but that's risky too because you can get behind balls yeah you can get behind balls are elevated or you can't shoot the three and get to the four he's gonna have good speed here because the four I don't think goes by the six how's that enough where was that dead behind the night behind the night and you could see when it right when he hit it he just knew it was trouble Wow he's struggling a little bit this match well he'll tell you himself he's been struggling a little bit the last few months he's had some great results throughout the year and talked about these great players struggling it's not a bunch you know but you know for his level he's struggling yeah and even if you're playing races to 1315 11 now you make a mistake or two you're gonna get beaten most likely especially the big mistakes that's a nice shot they're gonna creep okay jump q it's gotten over the side Matt Edwards kicks like a genius oh he's froze on this six I'm also I don't know if he has the jumps just because of where the the six is located and he doesn't have the bottom rail for the kick either no he might not have the side rail if he's froze on the six yeah you're right well you couldn't replace that any better he could curve it though he can curve on the right side of the cue ball yeah this is I don't know can he get to where he needs to get with the q-tip with the six man there we're gonna find out I don't think so I think he's going to either foul or go right into the ten with the cue ball you're right about that which I bet it Matt fouls there won't be no question about it Wow he got it there easily wow that's some nice cueing to be able to get that ball out like there and not touch the six ball that jumped the ball pretty confident he doesn't mind using the jump cue that's for darn sure yeah better just depending on where he gets on this 5/7 he's gonna have to probably kind of ease the combination in a bit to hold the five clean to where the eights not gonna be a problem I can't I don't think the speeds what he wants seven yeah it clears the aid that seems to appear Stu does he looked at it before he lined up for it oh for sure it goes but and he couldn't leave a sweet way to shoot this is use a little bit of the rail that way you can hit the seven just a hair thicker with the five it's a little bit of a nervy way to shoot it but we've seen the balls slide in like that just like that another touchy shot with the nine being there if the nine is not there this shot is very routine coming to reels back and forth but now he's got to be concerned about the speed looks nice back and forth I just got to come up the back rail well Oscars got himself into he's all tied up that's good Manteca it's a tough name say much a corner pocket for the nine or do you come back for the some I don't mind the corner but I don't mind the side here either it looks real natural just to come and you'll stay on the good side of it for sure I mean speed should have been pretty well there I think looks a little more settled distant these long last several balls well when they're out in the open like this you kind of just a little bit oh for sure and this will be a it's letting the dry spell Matt won four games in a row mister bring the score to six to three so Matt will be a break in the balls trying to get to the hill which is 7 this is a race to 8 keep in mind the last 16 players left well there would be a redraw and they'll be racing 210 for single elimination until then it's still double elimination so but these guys are on the one loss side so the loser here goes well home I guess do you stay in Vegas and have a good time well they won't be going anywhere enjoy Vegas they'll probably want to watch the tournament they might stick around an extra 10 days and playing the US Open all right got the August US Open coming up August 8th through the 13th US Open ten ball three days and then three days of the US Open eight ball CSI presents those also so cue sports International has had a busy summer very busy summer in May they had three US Opens at the end of May the bank pool straight pool in one pocket didn't they had the diamond Las Vegas open track the one nicely the twos coming up as well it's gonna get a decent starter on the two and really not bad at all cuz he can draw the cue ball over one rail and the three goes in the lower-left Hotel during the you the BC APL World Championships and USA PL national championships so we have all types of players in this pavilion and two other ballrooms there's 300 rooms I think he's 330 table setup okay he's going with high English he's gonna go around three rails for the three in the side makes the to a hair more miscible but nothing wrong with this if he hits it well and that's that's why I kind of just like drawing one row over for the short side on the three just because of that first shots my opinion was a little easier but that's all what you like I kind of like bringing the cue ball towards the side pocket here at shooting the three-ball hurry standing well that's the position out I thought Matt should have played him out also for the side pocket I haven't now he's super thin and that was another one that if you put it too much speed you see it kind of like it turned over kind of a little hydraulic we talked about and it actually slows the cue ball down anytime that balls hanging a lot of times you got to come out a little cleaner with the cue ball a little lighter to get it to go down the table I know it doesn't make much sense but it's the truth change is taking the safety in the one thing about it when you play a play a certain type of player or even here in a short race but Matt's kicked at the ball for the most part really well it kind of makes you not want to play safe so much or a la nephron Rey is you always seem to not want to get into some kind of kicking battle with him some of the sponsors there Omega predator well a Kageyama Yukio has defeated Ruben deputies top eight games to three so there goes another casualty these are all players you would never expect in any kind of every tournament to go to an out well but in this field trying to put them on the 10 and he got the three up very well definitely a snooker player or sometime or another I think was started with the snooker that it's funny played some pool with Steve Davis years ago and you wouldn't believe how much of a magician the snooker players are when it comes to the kick shots and it's not all the kick shot there's certain pool shots that are a little more foreign to them but for the most part pretty crafty I kind of get another one here most likely kind of along the same lines as somebody that plays strictly one pocket the cue ball control and their defense is just much stronger than your average ten ball player I would think yeah for the most part yeah and some creative shots that's for sure but the one thing is like the nine ball players clip the ball from distance and run the cue ball better things like that so there's some there's it goes both ways just to certain types of shots is what makes it one person better than the next for the most part and he's gonna get a snooker here I believe anyways now Kenny double-kiss off the top of this three and get at the four with the cue ball maybe try and get a look at that until if you can get to it yeah he can get to it oh he can I can see it now from here yeah no this is a tricky shot though with the three being frozen and you're going into the face of it very hard to totally predict meaning if he's trying to play the four how's he trying to shove the three into the rail and off the back of the four in the pocket that's what it looks like he's aiming that that's exactly what he's aiming at okay it's gonna be a little rough cuz he I'm not sure what he called though he's got to be calling the three ball here yeah he didn't think with the slit cloth there was much of any chance of that ball hanging no but it was if you noticed it was kind of spinning the opposite way just wouldn't hit the pocket that's what kept it out boys I think he's got a swerve that's just a touch and I may not be able to get the cue ball out is it pretty deep very deep and it's on the wrong side yeah this is touchy if he could just get anywhere between the six seven with the cue ball he'd love it yeah that's that's the danger when they're in that deep either you do that or you follow it in ya always tricky yep that shelf in the pockets on these diamond tables is pretty deep it'll hide the ball and it's like he's gonna draw this ball out between the 610 Holman has just been defeated by polish player probably captain Tomas captain polish players yeah I thought so I was gonna say I think he's polish too big game here at 6-3 gets these taken care of which shouldn't be a problem it'll be breaking our 11th game looking to really apply some pressure if you can get that one cut it to 65 get himself a nice angle on the 9 to come down for the 10 it's kind of choice here if you want to catch the second rail that's fine I kind of like that usually but just be aware it's easy with a little English to fall below the 10 doing that so if you just float one rail that's alright as well okay you liked it so she can control that by the side pocket life is good although like you said if he comes down it's a little too hard he said look into the back cut yeah when you when you involve that second rail sometimes you hit at the speed you lay on that second rail and that ten then that shot becomes a hair miserable yeah nevertheless he was in full control and on to six for now and he will be breaking the balls he started out well what happened to the domingus match that was seven 6-minute just a second ago Wow if it was a second ago I would think that on the opposite side mati que andan Casper defeated Oscar if that's the case we'll have to check that as the erect balls fetter to break the balls trailing 4 to 6 so Russian playing the New Zealand ER in Las Vegas Nevada it's a real man a Feder from Moscow went there last year and got to spend some time with a good kid what if he's enjoying the warm weather here in Las Vegas well I mean it's even if you don't like warm weather it can be a little excessive but I'm sure he is a little bit yeah wants the game a little angle on the two he's got to come up to the 4 ball beside one likely at the line of it he had askew stick on the line of the ball coming off the back rail I don't think he'll go to the back rail but he might he's a little heavier than he probably would have liked but I think she'll just like you said just come to rails yeah in line for the seventh yeah just like that I need some it's a little bit on it just a little not bad yeah almost better off banking this wall here he's actually on the bank he's called the bank just because maybe it's going into the sixth with the q-ball well it's going away from the five coming off that rail unless he spins it a lot so that's why I thought he might be a little better off banking it he's called for an extension wants to look it over some more originally called it in the cross bank that appears to be the way he's aiming to I shot yeah straight across for the six ball there's no reason to try to come up close to it and risk going to the side pocket I don't think you'll go that far over all right try to get back where he's at right now and it just kind of depends if he wants to catch that second rail he'll put a little hump on it to make sure he stays clear that side and give it a nice 10 or 12 I bounce okay he's gonna lay straight because he actually even a little underneath it but he's good but a whole lot of bad places for that six I'm very careful about coming across that side there and I think players a lot of players should because that side pocket plays big oh yeah it'll get a little excited and you put a little something on that ball and all of a sudden you're sitting on how could it do that so a big spot here now and definitely a more comfortable fetter than we've saw it's game of the match I think if he shoots these two balls like this a hundred times he makes him 99 what do you think yeah I think probably all hundred if he's really trying made a match out of it we're now up to five six Matt Edwards will be breaking the balls wanting to get on the hill successful breaking clearance he gets him on the hill which means you'll get a break get to try to break and run once we'll start tomorrow at 12 noon for the lifestream players will get started a little earlier than that make sure that's right 12:30 I believe no it's 12 12 p.m. so we'll livestream matches 12 235 and 7:30 join us here on youtube.com CSI pool if you have questions about the world 10 ball go to world 10 ball calm you can see the players list go to cts on demand for the for the bracket and for the on live scoring it's dry so far and some big turns of events here in our last match of day two well there's a big turn of event on the best proceeding this one yeah Verona okay it's not gonna get fooled by this carom shot I think he's gonna knock the one around and try and bring the cue ball I would knock the one around below the ten I think he can and hold the cue ball kinda was a little top English behind the five maybe said not I think that's pretty doable on the state felt make it towards the safe side pocket there so it goes in the cue ball Dover behind a five-year yeah especially with the a lot of balls there I think anyways it's a little touchy but catches the corner court at the side pocket yeah I'm gonna see how you can slow it down like you roll with a little bit of that hug little nice speed on the one as well and and cut him off pretty good on the kick shot here tucked away behind the five so yeah he may have to kick up OK immediately going to the jump cue okay so I thought the tenant was a little in the way as well but it's not he may be able to bank this one around don't think he's going for the make looks like he's gonna try to hold it behind the 1/10 right oh he clipped the eight ball going we could be tied up well he's got a lot of work that's for sure this racks got some congestion and let me think here it's going one night yeah you'll have to go to three and I don't know I think I like shooting the one coming I know coming shooting in this top corner I went straight down the table by the for shooting it by the four if he doesn't get much angle here very very touchy maybe he can come inside unless two rails and play the two by the four in the side correct that's exactly what it's that's what it's late for slaying real nice for that shot you just explained just for two rails speeds crucial hit the two speeds crucial the three goes up long so he may have to look at that and oh he can go forward wow he got full enough on the two he can go forward it looks like two bins like he was going towards the ADA hair and while the overhead tells me maybe he can go by the eight but to go all the way over and back he could also draw it and played the three ball in the right hand corner pocket okay this is what I was worried about is it gonna be enough yeah so he I think he flirted I might have just pinched that when I played the three up long behind the five exactly he could have just drew right between the three eight and had a nice shot on the three and then the four real real easy huh but feeling a lot better about himself to take on that type of shot that's in his situation that's pretty confident stroke well this opened up pretty nice and Matt who's been leading the whole way after that four-game streak it's about to give up four games of his own to tie it up yeah put us back in order as far as the brakes concerned and fetter will be breaking off in the next so he could get to the hill before Matt what a time to come with 40 for your own games on your trailing six to two all he has to do is complete these to run out on these bosses really solid young player not bad for a 19 year old well of course yeah my dad period but no players that played great yes there was a few heirs but not many and and some stellar shots as well this is some nice we saw his great safety battle early on I've seen some matches get away by the score you weren't you would think weren't too competitive but not this one a nice comeback to get back in this match just kind of wonder how do I want to break him though he's had some issues breaking as far as a little bit of a miss hit once got an unfortunate kiss on a scratch once but a dry break a time or two as well let's see who our world title players are – well she wrecks the balls yet filler theöto they in Ko Ko coerced ocean sookay agra lion Appleton Strickland common ukyo it's quite a few players oh yeah with World Titles 6416 came in here by their World Ranking WBA world ranking we had 15 qualifiers actually here we had 15 qualifiers 18 qualifiers because on the 15th qualifying tournament they qualified 3 on Sunday we had some come via BCA we had some come via APB you so International feel 64 players his maths stepped out of the arena yes he has he's on a short timeout well you got a decent crowd for this match watching things have cleared out on the side tables I believe all but two matches on table this one and the one on table number five still going looks like that was done now they're still going over there seven for Ronnie capito over Kundun whoo leading sail at seven for Jay Edwards back in the arena I like this arena setup it looks like two gladiators coming in to bunch it out or a boxing ring boxers trading punches it's going to the closed bridge so that tells me he's not gonna be hitting them too lightly there's gonna be a pretty firm pop here usually breaks him really well struggled not so much with the hit as much it's just just results he's gonna get to 9/4 rails and he's gonna get the seven for rails and can I get a cross side bank did the to open up half a pocket it looks like man if he wanted to hit it lightly it's a pretty big pocket problem is at County hole position if you want to hit the bank lightly especially if your nipples are nibbles off to do since then goes in anti playing safe behind the floor I think the one just come up beyond the three a little bit so you have the three and the four the four lays into place where I would say it's I don't want to say it's easy to get there it should be able should be controllable but still coming across the table it's a speed shot too and there's a little gap there with the three in the eight as far as where you're putting the one but we talked about it last week we'll talk about this week we'll talk about it next week that these great players want to be aggressive and what a shot here to start our 1315 I think I think I think Jeremy is getting the idea that I'm a little gun-shy and shooting shots I'd rather duck well it's just it's happened a few times I could I I remember some tournaments and big events to where a player that was a little more of a tactical player on the pro level and things worked out for them that week and got through it but most of the time is you're gonna have to shoot your way through through these types of fields and it's gotten funny here he may have to let the stroke on come three rails around around the table he's looking at top inside English and one thing about this top inside is if you miss it to the pocket you can still make the ball but if you don't hit it exactly how you want well you don't hit the piece to the rail you want you may not get as much English and the eight may come into play this is pretty steep so he's gonna need a bunch of left spin when he's over cut it yeah and sometimes you just I don't know it's not your conscious doing it that's for sure and I don't know if it's your subconscious but just to help the cue ball movement occasionally you try to get to the certain side of the pocket on the three and it could lead to a mess and it's it's done it here like over cutting that help the path of the cue ball a little bit especially with the low deflection shafts you've got to be used to your shaft that's short may double bank but oh man what a funny spot that's gotten left and I don't know if that's cuttable on the side or not it's real close it looks like if he goes to Bank it it it's such a tough shot okay so he's gonna try and cross this three over using the five ten I believe that the cue ball just kind of float towards this this lower left hand corner pocket if you're looking at your monitor delicate shot and there's some gaps there on the five-and-ten okay pretty nice I mean you left the bank but the fours on the other end so that main thing there was don't lose the cue ball they can come around it looks too straight to me I think you're forcing the issue he's already missed one cross side and he's played some really nice safety and kick shots I think it's either put the cue ball behind the for coming off the right side of the three or behind the ten I kind of like behind the floor a little bit better but I think it's a little more devastating and it's gotta go that this is what I would have been worried about if I did leave him much a look at the three now getting positioned to the four is much easier sure if I go behind the four with the cue ball he's coming off the end rail even and a long ways away Anna on the wrong side of the table but I mean that you know in hindsight also though he probably felt like and I feel like he should have probably executed the choice he made nothing wrong with that yes good there that ya can't argue with success but at the same time yeah that might have been you mean I've been under percent sure he can go by the five but the way you hit that ball he sure thought he could yeah and he didn't take a ton of time yeah and though I think he's already used as extension this game so I thought he used it on the first wasn't it the first the first shot I believe so second it's like can he kill us I don't think he can get around the five ten I don't think he can get enough of the three to draw with right English and get around and I think he's got to float this with a bunch of inside maybe get back over for a cut on the four in the same hole trying to see if he can I think he's coming across just take what he could get I'd be right behind the eight-ball almost well now I think he looks to get behind the six yeah still touchy the hope yeah no it is but you're gonna have a good line on that it's not like it's just a diamond doubt that's like two diamonds up or so he's called the bank and now you'll call the shot sometimes even though you're still playing safe but right just in case it happens to go because he might be playing it too way behind the five and have the five straight into the same pocket no it looks like you get it perfect to me wow what a shot just that big shot looks like he's traded for the five law yeah I don't think he can just level out either okay me involved the ten and they didn't want to get much further away from the six of the back of it skew may be going up in the air a bit yes it's coming back that's good enough on the six he's going to get off the rail nicely for the eight shouldn't air from here and be breaking the balls at seven six Oh yeah I don't he might have been wanting to go forward or backwards just a little bit there yeah I think backwards was the ticket just two or three inches nice CSI covers on the chairs up there little advertising from cue sports international you think oh maybe I'll miss that weakness well this is gonna be a shot that was big for me if you can get on the hill first he'll get the break to win the match now Federer will get to break to win the match first they'll get the break first I'm looking for five in a row after trailing six to two most of them are just some nice outs and some great play some safeties that got him ball in hand and a dry break by Matt Edwards but now a bit of an error here and he doesn't five in a row after trailing six to two these on the hill Matt will get to break at six to seven he needs this game because if he loses this game he's done and if he wins this game his opponent still gets to break to take control of the hill game Ronny capito over cooling woo has defeated him eight to four so now we're just waiting on this match and we're in the final stages you can get it get it exciting if if Matt's able to complete a break and run here we'll go to the hill both players are playing for the tournament life here young man 31 year old from New Zealand breaking the balls 19 year old from Russia Moscow raring to go okay don't hear anything down yeah the nines falling now what's the eight got to it's gonna say I'm gonna make it interesting yeah nothing easy for you mad at words well it's saying in many languages right now another tough proposition he's got a little bit more of a clip but you don't want to roll up to where it's just impossible to shoot the shot you're gonna get it given back easily I can usually one or the other when you can only roll out to a certain half of the ball that's usually really cold-blooded and blatant that you're never gonna get it back to where you put the cue ball or you're always gonna get it back depending on where you can cue down on this right and play safe Tommy ain't sometimes okay I kinda like go on four it's a two-way shot you can get shape on the on the deuce even though there's a gap between the 2 and the 6 and the 6 and the 3 there's balls to protect the 1 ball on the right side change one thing about that banking it away shot that's a little alarming is words the one going is it going into the piece of the three that might come down towards this left corner we're standing now and sell out most likely you're gonna be okay it could go in and you could have a problem I'd have a shot on the two and this is the one I would have worried about yeah coming off that ball and selling out somewhere but still I think he's got to shoot it he's just a top player real easy to contain the cue ball behind me behind the eight and just take his chance there he's tied up the four ball well lucky for Federer he has done that but I think there's a carom shot on the on the 10 now it's not a winner but could at least put Matt in position to continue the run back it there apparently barely I believe the carom does go looking at it my holding position on the four you'd have to shoot that carrot with a little draw and come back for the floor maybe I think you can do it with follow with a little touch of inciting watch as well now this is to gonna get on the in rail that's a huge mistake if it does and a big chance took a big chance I understand him wanting to move the seven just to open things up for the for later getting position on that camera shot but had to make sure he wasn't gonna lose the two and he didn't so he's okay I'm wondering if he's considering moving the four here I think yeah I think I like your Carib shot yeah three so far away I don't think you're gonna try and get into the for now but he may on the next show oh wow played so strong through those 14 streak even even before that in the middle there and that when you want those two games in a row 21 game two or three come the groom everyone and this last two games of a little bit of a letdown was run outs they were nice as well just really solid all the way around broke the balls pretty well it's pretty good match he's just missed at the wrong time he's just missed I'm not sure if there's ever a right time to miss not hanging out with this crowd yes for sure bunch of cold-blooded killers right here as far as nine ball ten ball pools concerned okay I think he's gotten perfect now he's just gonna have to shoot this from a little distance now the problem is I really think he does need a bit of inside to make the 10 or at least it make them make the make it feel good about how to shoot this shoot it's a little more guarantee on the 10 and if the four crosses over to the in rail the cue ball could check up and come up a little bit and leave him too thin of us a cut shot so he's gonna it's gonna be a subtle little carom shot and it's gonna most likely be a Lightspeed oh wow okay well pretty nervy shot I'll tell you work out no great shot but just on the under circumstance you sometimes won't see a player pull the trigger on something like that this this goes back to what you've been telling me is uh you know you got to come with good shots oh yeah oh yeah to really assure yourself now it's just a stop shot and he'll be in complete control just have to run the last three balls well it's a weird psychological thing you know like when I look at a crowd like this and I've done that in the last few years at some big tournaments I got to playing it actually helped me is as I told myself hey I need to play my top game to win so don't back off shots don't if your gut is telling you you need to break that out or that's what you would normally do if you're feeling good go ahead and do it that's you got to get informed playing that way to come over the mental challenge sometimes and it actually helped the physical side as well so it's just a little joke he's following it nothing wrong with that I thought he may draw it down the in rail and kind of from nowhere Feder gorse looking to stay in this world Tim ball championships looking at win six games in a row to steal it away from that Edwards I guess Matt was looking at the finish line and just couldn't finish yeah had a few chances that's for sure and he got a couple bad rolls where he had snookered fetter and and I'm Federer got away with a little bit but nevertheless mister course is gonna advance to day three one of the things about pool is it's a game of control and when you let that person to the table it's out of your control that's your opponent what a match yeah well mr. Edwards Matt Edwards gonna think about that one probably for a little bit a little bit you know I mean he's I think he's a guy that's got a bright future and from from New Zealand's gonna win some tournaments and learning steel but I really enjoyed it George likewise Jeremy Jeremy Jones George ths signing out for the night met see you tomorrow [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] the idea of Revo started when I first came to Florida in 1997 and I loved what the shaft did when to queued it for the player and I realized well there's technology out there that we have not explored yet I really wanted to seek use design for people for each player rather than one shaft fits all we're achieving that this year we're making the first or our first for the tour custom Revo you 20 years now you'll be looking for a wooden shaft like my hands tooth it just won't be there it'll go the way of the you know the skis have tennis racquets golf clubs you know none of those products are made out of wood any longer but they all were at one time just the way it's going to be you know if if you had a wooden shaft and you had a cabin fiber shaft and nobody saw either which one would you pick when we play pool we use every side of the tube all around so that consistency is very very important straightness is more critical than any other game out there then you add accuracy flexibility stiffness when you talk about nodes pivot point I mean this is you need to really understand you need to master the game we design every single shaft based on what the player needs to improve his game we want people to have the ability to use whatever joint they have on their butt and the Revo fits it we can give them a white ball plate a black ball plate any kind of material they wanted made out of we could make we can give me any kind of tip and we could make the weight different heavier lighter so for example if it wanted three and a half outs and they wanted a certain tip the certain ball plate and then one of the 5/16 18 thread that's all doable it's a level of customization that others haven't seen before we design the different options not only with players not only with our engineers led by Paul but also with our coaches a pros were part of the process in the last two years why not walk through our manufacturing work for our offices with our design team and I see as much passion in them as anything is possible and that's what we want to bring to the fans around the world the ability to help you play one ball or two balls better than your actual of being able to win more games and more matches and therefore have more fun each serve Revo experience is a regal shaft what we've done when you look at the process it's mind-blowing what would you so I've always believed that you want to make the operation or the process that goes into building something foolproof so you don't have to check it but that said we have all those as many as I could figure out and we still have over 30 inspection points that every single shaft gets done our standards are much higher than wooden shaft now we can put those standards in for wood wood rules and breezy changes so you have to build that tolerance india wooden shaft there's no weapon or evil it's perfectly the most accurate shaft we can buy

I've used the same Magic Rack for over a year. It lays flat and works great. That Predator rack looks terrible! Lots of ripples. Notice the trouble the ref has with it? Predator balls you can't see colors on the screen, and a lousy rack. Way to advertise, Predator! You couldn't make a TV ball set? You need to be better at this.
