It looks as though K-pop will be featured prominently at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics Figure Skating Gala! See Also: BTS Remains No. 1 On Billboard Social Chart For 62nd Week, Spends 19th Week On Billboard 200 On February 25, the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics will celebrate the end of its figure skating competition by holding the traditional figure skating exhibition gala. The gala is a popular showcase that gives the Olympic skaters a chance to perform for fun, without the pressure and technical requirements of competition. Several Olympic figure skaters have chosen to perform to K-pop songs at this year’s gala. Misha Ge, a male figure skater from Uzbekistan, will be skating to BTS’s “Mic Drop” remix, while Korean ice dancers Yura Min and Alexander Gamelin will be skating to BIGBANG and 2NE1’s “Lollipop.” Korean pair skating duo Kyueun Kim and Alex Kang Chan Kim will be skating to both 2NE1’s “I Am The Best” and Red Velvet’s “Red Flavor.” Congratulations to all of the Olympic skaters!
