I am a Kansan snorts key courses here we are enjoying a proper winter's day so for the last few weeks been pretty warm so that's beginning bit mushy but incredibly it has changed so it's the 11th of April and we now have 20 centimetres of new snow it was a fabulous morning with a little bit cloudy but now the Sun is out and we're about to heading to the spatula so we're continuing our series of fabulous off piste rittany Espace Killy and today as I said it's a spatula the snow is great and we have four colors of blows more snow finally it's going to keep dumping until Sunday so fingers crossed should be a great end of season so if you're looking to get into the spatula you can come up to a sponsor you can either come up the Olympic from the middle of bouncer or you come up from the die on the funicular and if you're coming up from the teens way you would head up arrow ski down up marmots and then from the top there and from all three of those lasik you then take the okay ski down a couple of hundred metres and then hang a right and now we've traversed across the floor probably 150 metres but now the law of big big rock and we're about to enter into this match fantastic powder snow on a slightly firm base we fed then hit a little reached and we just walked along that ridge line so from there you keep heading a long term to your right along that Ridge keep going about another 50 60 meters and you come through a small core with lots of big rocks on it and that's where we're aiming for now so another really fantastic little pitch there about 35 degrees let's see em so Philly Philly similar gradient to the one at the top very very good smoke again and then it opens out onto a flatter ball which we're going to ski now and then we'll come into the trees bring us down to Oslo die you just don't expect that at this time in years quite incredible snow is exceptional and so we now come to kind of the end of the open day and as you can see we're coming into the trees good point of reference is this pylon here which is about 60 metres behind me once you see that Pilon you want to head left into the trees there's many different routes through here but this is probably the safest and easiest route that there is because there are quite a few little rocky outcrops and small cliffs just below me it says various routes as you can see behind me beer sweetie come down we came down a pretty good route was fairly straightforward and we're now up on a slightly flat section and just above me couple hundred meters above us you can actually see that pylon so and fairly interesting sections but do just watch out for those steep drops you

This IS a great region of the mountain throughout the season, always visually stunning, some of the better slope to experience. Thanx.
