He feels shame for the privilege he has in this country. Dude – grow up. Everybody has privileges of one sort or another. And the privileges we have here aren't primarily due to anything that was taken from anyone else. We created and built what we have here, and you're a part of that.

Phil Tippet. Worlds best stop motion animator. But he was the worst Dinosaur supervisor ever. There were raptors all up in that kitchen Phil, in the GOD. DAMNED. KITCHEN!

Cgi is shit. They used stop motion for a lot of nasas stuff and that is still believed by almost half of the population. If they use Cgi to do the coming moon missions it will need to be better than the spacex stuff they have done in Cgi.

Stop motion is magical, soul that fills each frame. CGI is synthetic. I think humans have an unconscious connection to the physical as opposed to the virtual.

Now it just makes more sense to use cgi. The old way was cool but would you hire a old person doing old fashioned stuff or would you get down and digital.

I love it how hippies made the original trilogy. Lucas went against Hollywood, so he took a risk against the establishment. It was creativity over the black bottom line. These guys were misfits making misfit toys for something larger than themselves. Not to sound too melodramatic, but when I think of the making of Star Wars, I think of the story of Jesus and his disciples in a modified form. I love this guy. I hope he knows how grateful we are to him. Through a deep understanding we come to this idea of faith/belief. It's an idea, because love is not presumptuous. ❤✌

ESB greatest Sci-Fi sequel ever, unrivaled. The Whiskey Outpost Warrior Bug DAYLIGHT scene is also unrivaled, studios these days don’t have the balls anymore to attempt something this cool, especially Legendary pictures who are doing the Godzilla movies. The night scenes have been played out since 93 when Mr Tippett contributed to the EPIC Jurassic Park. The risk taking is over, and this is understandable, industry is changing, new formats are on the horizon, it’s more corporate than it’s ever been, what a shame. 🖖

When I was a kid and I saw Making Of Jurassic Park, and when it was mentioned that Phil's work was rejected in favor of CG, I always felt sad for Phil. I know he always jokes about it, but I can sense he was feeling like that kid who came to the playground to play with other kids, but then other kids told him to go home. Nobody wants to feel like their hard work and passion is obsolete.

Why so much focus on the fact that he dropped acid? That was mentioned multiple times but really didn't have any impact on the story overall. It's almost like Vice latched onto that fact and forced it in. But why?

I always thought it was so cool that this man had this much passion for this art and is getting paid for it. Kind of surprised to know he only lives about 80 miles from me.

Its not his fault for past things in our history, and yet he is depressed over it because our society constantly pounds this hatred for the white male down our throats. This dude is fucking awesome. I'm glad he's gotten so much help for his anxiety and depression to keep him here. He seems like a very "enlightened" person, in the least religious way possible ya know? I hope he is happy. Once you understand and come to realize all your roots of the anxiety, you become such a happier person. Thats why I think its so important to help this country do so much better with how it treats mental health. Think of all those we lost and all of those we never got to meet or their ideas because of Mental Illness that went unnoticed or untreated.
