so today we decided to go for some dog sledding we're here to get the dogs and to get a ride out to the admin belly in summertime we actually use baggies instead of slashes these dogs are like athletes they need to exercise and train and of course they all go crazy once they see the pattern it feels so natural to let them pull here in these moments I always feel so close to nature so we've been spending a wonderful day with the dots and now it's time to go home

Thank you so much for making these videos.  I initially looked at them for the drone work (which is excellent), but they give me a marvelous idea of what life is like in Svalbard, and has put Svalbard on my list of places I have to visit.  Thanks again.

    I have a few questions:

Would there be any infrastructure I'd miss if I decided to live here? I heard you have high speed Internet, but what about cell phone service, public schools, a hospital, fire departments, etc?

Is hunting legal in this area, or can you only use the guns for self defence?

I notice that you carry around a rifle even though a high calibre pistol would be easier to whip out if you were surprised by a polar bear. Are there laws in Norway against weapons that can easily be concealed?

What kind of job opportunities are in the area? Aside from teaching at the university, are there any degree-level jobs around, or is most of the work just blue collar?

I love the cold,Arctic,Grey skies and all that. I would love to move somewhere like Iceland,Greenland but Svalbard really looks great. It doesn't have that many people and yet still very advanced. It would be pretty expensive there wouldn't it?
