you already know how to stem turn and now you'd like to drift around curves with your skis parallel no problem in the first exercise you teach yourself how to side slip stand on the edge of the piste will have a good all-round view make sure your skis are one hip width apart press your knees towards the mountain and the swivel your upper body slightly towards the valley if you now move your knees in the direction of the valley the edges of your skis will come loose and your start to side slip to stop the sliding just point your knees in the direction of the mountain again for the second exercise look for flat and broad pieces where you feel safe when increased speed you'll stem out a bit less quite automatically if it works out try to reduce the stemming outwards on slightly steeper beasts as well during the third exercise the so called garland you ski across the slope in a wave-like movement remember always look up before you start of course to get the skis to slide take the pressure off the edges and lean your upper body forward slightly if you push your knees back towards the mountain again ie edge the ski will steer back towards the slope try to cross the slope with these wave-like alternating movements if this works out you can already start to practice your first parallel swing turn let's take a look at the complete turn move your upper body forward and upward take the pressure off the edges of the skis at the highest point of the upward movement change the edge of the ski slowly move your knees back towards the mountain now let's take a look at the entire turn one more time move your upper body forward and upward take the pressure off the edges of the skis at the highest point of the upward movement change the edge of the ski slowly move your knees back towards the mountain as soon as you feel safe with parallel swing turns on flat areas you can start using the poles use the pole at the end of the movement upwards ie at exactly the same time as you change edges we prepared some precise tips on pole use for you in your own special video you

Good instructions, but you can't learn how to play the violin by using a video of 4 minutes… Go to the local ski school

On the mountain that i ski on its hard to learn this because the flatter terrains are narrow and the wider terrains are steep so when you slow by going up a hill you lose control coming back down. Its a volcano so that's probably why its narrow and steep as you go up…

Learnt this in one day, though ended up slide down a giant mountain at an uncontrollable speed on shaky legs at one point. Almost lost my head but learnt to ski, haha. Fast track but risky, not recommended.
