Olá Youtube, My name is Ricardo Lino and
I’m a Wheel Addict I don’t know about you but for me being a
wheel addict one of those things that happen to me a lot
was watching a trick in a magazine and in my mind i was like “i need ..i wanna learn
that” “i wanna try to do that” specially when
it was something different, i always wanted to learn how to do it
i don’t know, about 12 /13 years ago there was a trick of one of my favourite skaters
till nowadays, his name is Charles Dunkle
and he was doing a it was like a Chris fishbrain but then
the fishbrain foot, the foot was out of the skate
i don’t remember if that was in rejects magazine, or in daily bread
but i do remember watching that picture and thinking to myself
how the heck did he do that? and then, i asked a little bit around
and no one knew about it, and i haven’t seen a clip of him landing it
and always though like, hummm, i don’t really know if he did it,
or if the magazine was just teasing even if i don´t believe in magazines putting
pictures of tricks not landed
but what happened was a few days ago i was surfing around the internet
and i found a clip of him doing it and i was like, DAMMIT
i really wanna learn that so i put my skates yesterday and i went
and try it YES! THAT WAS THE ONE the thing is,
Charles Dunkle, i don’t know how the hell you did that with a liner
I would love to try it with a bigger skate probably
because i was using a skate my size and i tried a few times with a liner
and i just count take my foot off then my only way to learn it was by cheating
a little bit so, i ended up landing the trick
but my fishbrain foot wasn’t with a liner so basically, i dot know if can call this
a landed trick or not, i don’t even know if this is a trick
but you know what? now i wanna get some bigger skates
and try a few more of these things imagine if i could grind on a makio
hmmm, maybe thats what I’m going to try next, maybe i can try a makio slide if i get a bigger
skate you know what? SUBSCRIBE TO THE CHANNEL if you want to see
if i’m going to able to do it or not i hope you enjoyed this video. CHEERS!

Maybe try it in a pair of larger carbons? they don't have a separate liner 😀 still pretty damn sweet 😀

In the old days we used skates size too big, also they were almost at all times nearly open. I remember one guy jumped 180 over 10 stairs and he felt down and one of the skates fell off, he use to skate that loose. I guess would be easier with like TRS or Deshi

Charles did this at first as a joke in Alabama. back then a lot of people skated without using there buckle. we thought it was weird and the big razor liners that shima had on his skates is why he was able to do it. its probably harder to do it your way because you have zero support to do the stall. someone did this alley-oop fish grind at woodward along time ago. it was a random person but I remember thinking it was odd

greased up liner and large shell with no buckle and no laces and you've got this.

in those old razors the liners were way fat and snugg in the boots. if they were new your foot just slid in and out all smooth cause the padding was still firm and not all matted down from being used. on top of the fact that with the old heel pads in razors some had a small amount of adhesive to hold the heel pad down and i knew a lot of people who put either tape or velcro strips between the liner and heel pad to make sure their shit didnt move at all. with how the dunkle clip looks he may have had his liners fastened down like a lot of people did in those boots.

Very creative. Like super, super creative. I saw footage a fee years ago were a dude had XSJADOs and went into a makio and pulled the other skate off and then flipped it before he put it back on.
