[suspenseful music] NARRATOR: Retired
engineer Gordon Holmes is one of the few
people who claims to have captured the Loch
Ness Monster on camera. He’s taking us to the exact
spot at the water’s edge where his life changed forever. I saw the monster
at 10 minutes to 10:00 on the 26th of May, 2007. NARRATOR: Despite
years spent waiting, Gordon remained determined
to see the Loch Ness Monster. And on this day, his
persistence finally paid off. I’d been there
for a few hours. And then suddenly, I saw
something coming towards me. I immediately reached
over the back seat and grabbed a camcorder. I dashed out, slammed the door. And then suddenly, I
realized that’s not what you supposed to do. I’ve read that if you
see a potential monster, don’t slam the door because
that’ll frighten it. So I then ran down to
the edge of the lay-by and realized it’s disappeared. Where’s it gone? And then suddenly, I saw
it over to the right. And immediately, I
got the camcorder and zoomed into its position. For the next 2
and 1/2 minutes, I was privileged to
one of the most amazing sights I’ve ever seen. NARRATOR: As you can see
from Gordon’s footage, there is most definitely
some type of large animal swimming across the Loch. But what could it be? This thing was, like,
bubbling along the waves. At no point did it break
through the surface of the streamlined water to flow NARRATOR: The
creature appears to be moving in a serpentine
fashion, almost slithering through the water. Based on the species known
to inhabit Loch Ness, one might conclude
that this is an eel. But when you analyze the
video more carefully, the eel theory seems unlikely. I’ve read it somewhere that
if you ever get a sighting of something like this, you
should zoom in and out so that the able– the people
that analyze the footage can always then
estimate the size of whatever the creature was. And at the same time, you can
prove it’s not like a fake because you’re
seeing it in context. NARRATOR: In context,
the animal appears to be at least 15
feet long, much larger than any freshwater eel species,
and therefore, potentially something completely unknown. GORDON HOLMES: It was certainly
going at speed into the waves. It wasn’t some sort of log. This was a creature
that had energy. It had power. It was thrusting
through the waves. NARRATOR: In addition to
the creature’s length, experts were able
to determine that it was moving at a top speed
of 6 miles per hour. This is probably
the best footage up to this time of the
so-called Loch Ness Monster. I realize this was a
turning point in the history of the Loch Ness Monster. [suspenseful music]

Not suprising, that loch never freezes over. It looks like a snake, a massive 20 foot snake.

Saw it in 1985 while coming back from first year camp with my High school, and so did the teacher…but he won't admit it in front of anyone else, only the 3 other kids in the minibus who saw it. I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it myself, so I don't blame anyone for not believing.

In search of “New” Evidence of the Loch Ness monster? Correct me if I’m wrong but there’s isn’t any Old evidence that even remotely proves the existence of this fantasy either, is there? How long as this fairy tale been floating around? In those DECADES, how much evidence has been presented that can be scientifically quantified?
Why then do shows like this exist? Why then are there viewers who faithfully believe titles like “New” evidence? It’s really quite simple, it’s because shows like this are part of an industry that includes UFO’s, Bigfoot and conspiracy theories that, last year alone (2018) earned $436 million dollars in the form of books, movies, documentaries, multi episode television shows that will do say anything in order to be renewed for a new season, conventions, syndicated radio shows, podcasts and Lectures. That covers the “Why do we see titles like this”. As for the “Why do people still watch and seek new answers”? That’s even simpler to understand. Like any other scam in the world, what ingredient is more important then gullible minds?
One of the most laughable things about the Tin Foil Hat Brigade that embraces these fairy tales are the ones who call skeptics “Sheep” and accuse them of not thinking and believing anything the “Man” or “They” say. In reality there isn’t one of them who anything that resembles an Original idea or theory. They simply Parrot theories from where? You guessed it, OTHER PEOPLE. What’s more laughable is the the people they parrot are part of a multi million dollar a year industry. So by all means Wingnuts, you help keep that money machine rolling…..we all enjoy Men in Black and Star Wars.

I completely believe there's something living down there and avoids people by using the many underwater cave systems..I also don't care if there's a creature living down there so I guess i fit in a very lonely category.

Iv got relatives that have lived right next to Loch Ness for hundreds of years, there is NO Loch Ness monster, its a tourist trap, a gimmick to sell cheap, made in china, tourist garbage like "Loch Ness dolls" and t-shirts… its a big joke to the locals when idiots show up asking about the "monster" in town, but people there are making good money on the tourist trade so they dont say anything against it publicly cause its good for the local economy

All DNA has been Sequenced from Loch Ness. By a University from Denmark. There is no mysterious DNA. There is NO LOCH NESS MONSTER. Closest thing could be a giant eel.

As an expert in the field study of marine animals what we have here is an animal of but three and a half feet in length…Not any more than three and a half feet..Rather large for this creature but i know this to be a Sea Otter..The speed is correct at 6 mph..Water temperature and time of year is key to these findings. The length is what is not correlating here…My research of this sighting shows exactly that
