I know I’m good enough to clear the wake but the fear of it is holding me back… what do I do?

Is a ski pole necessary for jumping? The rope is low down on our boat so it maybe difficult to get some decent air :/

I am using a 50 foot ski rope. I think the extra 20-25 will really give me that extra swing out needed.

this level of skill will take a lot of falls 😀 i thought it was similar to snowboarding but there is a different learning curve with the boat pulling you all the time vs sliding down a hill.

Great video, thanks for the pointers.

Try either going faster so that the wake is a bit more narrow. Or another really easy option is to shorten the rope by 10-15ft and stay at that 18-19mph range. Also it depends on how you launch yourself off the wake.

preferance and wake all about how you like it and the way the wake is shaped, i go about 22-23 mph and 65 ft line, sometimes 80. everything is what you like best. randall the vandall harris runs a 95 ft line i think
