Skiing & Snow
Guys!!!!……Don't forget to turn off your cell Phone, it could jam your transceiver.
excellent stuff, the chase cam in the trees demonstrating incorporating the techniques in diverse terrain was helpful!
very nice vid, not too different from skiing down high gradient on a groomed slope
good Explanation, nice Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZaYs6YDtWBA
this was useful
Who ever disliked suck ur mum
Very well done video. Nice job man. Really liked how you showed the "smear" technique in addition to regular turns. Thank you.
I use to train skiing so I still have my racing skis, but now I love freeriding an jumping. But I have to ride on powder with racing skis. And actualy is not that hard
Where is this place?
We hardly get powder in Mammoth, it "Dumped" two days ago. I am trying to remember all your tips. As you mentioned VERY VERY different than groomed trails. Took one fall, gzzzz such a challenge getting out of 4' of powder. Luckily, I have some upper body strength and help getting up. Have you created tips on getting up out of really deep snow? Thanks, J
great video, i learned ski by myself, first day i did very easy slopes green, and i was basically skiing on a small slope where only kids were skiing, i was 24. and next day, i did a 3rd level slope, i crashed, and nearly injured my knee but, it was just a small stretch (probably cause of the high DIN, as i learned lately the staff where i rented them are not that good). i put voltaren on my knee and did that slope 7 or 8 more times the same day until i mastered it. that was my first blue (if i am correct) then 3rd day i i did more blues and on the 4th day i was up on the lift to a high peak and i saw an amazing offtrack powder slope i said, i wish i can do that.. and then i did it. it was an amazing feeling, i drew an S on that, it's amazing really, it was so easy. the thing is i did not ski for 12 years since then. ( yep also 4th day i did at least 2 red tracks, too steep but i was just going diagonally,… now i learned carving online, lol, i did not know it before, lets hope my next time will be soon)
Wow I just love this channel! Been skiing for 20 years… yet so much to learn
I'm in Val Thorens in early Feb 2019. Its snowing every night and improving during the days. Powder along side every piste. Really enjoying myself.
1 Don't encourage people to ski powder ! 2 If you ski powder do BIG turns which will leave space for us to do proper turns !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good video. Will be trying these tips out. Cheers
sick vid man, pity theres barely any powder to try it on in australia though 🙁
Thanks for these amazing techniques. Powder ski coaching can be hard to afford. And your videos give everyone the opportunity to progress.
Great tips again thanks!
That soundtrack you are playing at the beginning of your video; what is the name & artist of it?
+10 for mustache 😀
Love your vids man. I just started skiing this year, and have already started hitting big jumps and am nailing tricks. I’ve been 4 times so far, and your videos have helped SO MUCH. Keep doing what you’re doing… I hope to attend one of your camps in the future.
Goin to Niseko tommorow its known for the best powder!
Thanks Jens! really appreciate the tips!
Am I the only one who thinks that your skiing is not that great?
Another awesome segment Jens! Well done! Loved it! 👍✌️🦋🕊️🦉❄️☃️⛷️🌷❤️🥰
I've been skiing powder for years and even I learned something. Great video and high quality as always
