Thank you! Your video/tutorial saved me hundreds of dollars that I do not have right now. Iโ€™m a pretty clever girl, so I narrowed down where the root of the issue was likely to be and with your video and knowledge I was able to replace the capacitor myself. Your instructions were clear and easy to follow. I was able to order the part through amazon last night and it was waiting for me when I got home from work today. It was a 15 minute process (spent more time carefully labeling wires than probably needed) and itโ€™s fixed! Thank you, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!! ๐Ÿ˜

I changed the capacitor, and still the fan won't turn on. I can hear a buzzing from the little black piece. But no power. What else can be wrong?

If spent hundreds of dollars on air condition units and the past, the quality here is just the same as expensive competitors.>>>nub.best/6zuk I do have to say that this unit is for a single room use, it will not cool a living room size area efficiently. Again for what you pay for it's not too bad, no issues whatsoever.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if the "kick start" portion of the capacitor is bad, as long as it is running and never shuts off, it should be fine until a new one can be bought, correct?

Replaced the capacitor and fan motor. Total cost 21.00 for the C and 101 for the motor. Took me 40 minutes to swapped out both

Did you have to jump start the fan once you put the part on?

actually the larger capacitor (45uF) starts the compressor and the smaller value (5uF) starts the fan. Once it's started, it doesn't need a starter capacitor to keep going.

What if it doesnt even run? Does that mean the compressor is gone? Also what if the two rubber hoses inside the unit below the fan lead to nothing?
