lads and lasses I am davidic weave I'm a professional wakeboarder done in Ireland and I'm here and I'm going to teach you some of those cool tricks to really impress everyone at your local cable park so hitting an obstacle hitting a rail hitting a kicker it's cool and all but they're there to do tricks so it really gets the people going is when you do a trick off the flat water so let's learn some air tricks one of the best air tricks you can learn first is the arrow it's effectively a back row off the flat water you're using line tension and your edge to basically do a flip comrade line and be like boom okay so let's go to it the most important thing in the arrow is actually your edge so it's a five-second edge the first three seconds you're underneath the cable you're drifting slowly so it's one two three drifting so for your fourth in your fifth second this is where it all changes this is where it all happens on the arrow you want to effectively point your board in that direction you want to get nice and low so that's basically second for it then second five is where you stand up and you extend through it so you want to come from this low position your boards facing that way you want to stand up you want to look over your leading shoulder and that's going to throw you into the flip so this stage would be somewhere here probably with your eyes closed but if you can keep them open try and spawn a LAN in there pull the handle into your right hip head to the shore there and your knees bent and that's it boom you've gotten the arrow everyone on the show is going but while I'm in there and you're just like no biggie okay so you've got your arrow well now you're probably going to show some your friends this video and then they're going to learn the arrow but you still want to be better than your friends so here's what to do next so after the arrow there's loads of tricks the Israelis there's different sorts of a tricks to progress onto but I think the best extension is to do the arrow to rebirth River you say river it is effectively pulling the arrow to 180 so your landing switch okay so let's get into it so everything is the exact same on this trick and it only changes when you get to this upside down position here this is when it all changes and actually the good thing about this is it's kind of a more of a natural movement so you're effectively you want to take off your lead hand off the handle and that's naturally going to open your shoulders off open your hips off and then you're going to end up going to revert automatically then to actually just land it you want to look to the far shore and bend the knees and that's all there is to it it's actually a very natural movement and I think you'll get it pretty quickly so go ahead give it a laugh and smart Hey thank you so much for watching I really do hope these help because that's kind of the aim of the game is to help you guys learn some new tricks there's a bunch more how to use on the Valley House YouTube channel so make sure to subscribe to that and there's also loads more in my own coaching site dark way so be sure to check it out the links in the bio thanks for watching guys and hope you keep progressing
