Sad to hear. I know someone who's son just died of this after a 5 yr battle. Depends on where it's located, like the lower leg or thigh which is common, amputation is a possibly . I volunteered at a children's cancer camp for years every summer, before becoming a patient myself. We had a few of these kids who survived to become counselors with in the camp. A few were in their upper 20s. It's a long road for sure. Bone cancer patients, myself included , have to be very careful about contact and physical activity. hockey for the meantime ,can wait. I just hope he makes great progress in the coming months. Life's precious.
    A Blackhawks fan.
