    You know why you're having problems because it's a clapped-out old Ski-Doo.

Shame on Skidoo. They used to be the most dependable sled out there. I gave up Artic Cat for exactly that same issue. I swore to never buy another Artic cat. Sounds like you bought a snowmobile that already had an issue that someone else had and never properly fixed it. There shouldnt be issues like loose stator wires. My guess is someone else got in there and messed with it. Skidoo from the factory are always ready to run from the crate. You buy a used sled that someone screwed with, expect issues like that. I used to have my own sled shop and I hated it when guys would get in there and screw with stuff. I seriously considered charging more when I knew someone was messing around under the hood.

16 minute video, maybe 2 and a half full minutes of riding. The rest was repair. Gotta love skidoo. 😂

I have owed a lot of ski-doos. Now have two that both run like swiss watches (ones w 150hp). Like any complex machine; frequent use is best. All these small electrical problems were cheap fixes on a sled that was obviously hammered pretty hard. I have clocked a lot of miles, with a lot of sleds and lots of other riders. I would say ski-doo is the most reliable. Recently, the new Yamahas seem very well made. In any case, I have a tow strap if you decide ski-doo isn't your sked.
