today's really sick it's like Bluebird and powder I don't know what else you could ask for maybe like Ferrari Asano I guess I'm gonna put a little counter in the bottom edge of the corner here just to keep track of random things I wonder what come to Japan tomorrow you're abusing it heading up the gondola gonna take a chair after this short hike and then we're gonna hit some epic pow it's gonna be good yeah guys like David saying we got the perfect recipe of powder it's cold there's lots of snow is steep and the sun's out that's that's the recipe right there is it an active volcano no it hasn't erupted if we got a volcano across the way there mount USA and a lot of people hike up to it and then they actually snowboard into the crater so that may be something we do on this trip really you guys want snowboard on a volcano oh yeah we watched out I'm gonna go to hike out of it Jeremy Jones would be proud ron jeremy would be proud right tornado the minute I see that move I know since manhood crazy temperature change it's going from maybe like zero degrees at the base to like minus 20 up here with the wind chill really feeling it yeah the wind chill is the worst honestly it's it gets you especially on the uncovered parts of your face hey guys today I'm riding the orc again I absolutely love the or go through the powder it floats is stable popping off and landing drops it's just I think the best sport of I've ever done that on so yeah really fun board definitely give it a try if you can TJ what are you riding today I'm on the DC House of powder been killing it out here as well got that camber from the front foot to the tail rocker in the nose floating in powder stomp and landings it's a fun one nice yeah and the House of powder is actually a touring company not far from here in Japan so very appropriate Japanese board yeah first height to the peak don't know what to expect really surprising to have a bluebird day like this here in a sec oh it's kind of known for being cloudy that's why they get so much snow so feeling just super lucky at the moment this is an absolutely insane spot that Pike was one of the most difficult heights I've ever done just goes to the wind and the cold but as soon as we dropped in over that Ridge everything's calmed down we can see everything blood is just nice on touch now Wow time to go dad's to the left those ones look even better just got way too excited it's hauling through there forgot to breed bring out the stop ha so good so I'm not sure what's over there but I can see there's a traverse to get out and there's a couple pillows over there yeah I could be cool to like do a turn and then on top of that one alright guys so I think TJ and David are a bit further down below me I've got this really narrow tree forest ahead of me I think if you're ever riding through trees the best thing to do is to make lots of turns I always do like double the amount of turns through trees it just keeps me in control and allowing me to make those quick turns through the trees and looking in-between them as well yeah brother hey I didn't see you there I'll check this out sure with you guys the playlist that we have on the way to and from the mountain just to get us in the snow mood DJ David what's this song Oh yo guys so we're heading into a Japanese onsen if you guys have never heard of it it's like a natural hot tub it's a tradition after skiing or snowboarding you visit an onsen it's a great way to soak your bones get rejuvenated and ready for the next day of riding I think you have to go naked though so I don't think imma be able to bring the camera in there says adult number of tickets people people small people the hype is real [Laughter]

The first song in the playlist is from my country, Taiwan. It is a song by indigenous Taiwanese. https://youtu.be/W6mI1xcfRtw

Jeremy Jones would be proud if you guys wore beacons, any update on that? Seriously Yotei is no joke and there are a lot of photos on the local fb backcountry groups of big glide cracks in the crater from last week when this vid was uploaded.

There is a mixed onsen where you can bring in beers and even sneak in a GoPro , at niseko Grand hotel, they also have one of the best sea food buffet. And right outside 400m on the elft there is a famous ramen restaurant.

When you guys reference temperature changes, are you speaking in terms of Celsius or Fahrenheit? Also do you guys ride with that wonderboom speaker, seems like a health hazard if you were to fall on it as they are pretty durable and hard?
