all right coming that didn't work out very well Howie oh yeah so you can see in that clip there's some successive drops in there like it's pretty chattery this is the spot that Jo crashed at last video or a video ago and and you know it really got in his head and ever since then you know the plan has been to come back gotta get Redemption oh yeah you feeling confident oh yeah did send it you can actually see the paint from his Yeti right there all right dude haha I'm quite certain I can do it a lot better than that too but it feels good just having done oh that was sick how does that feel to get your Redemption feels good feels real good done it yeah I'm good yeah man hey guess who's up for some some some redemption to tackle something that makes me nervous this guy go nervous all right let's get down the mountain to it I'll pull up the back these guys are downhill bikes and they're good and they're like 15 all the energy in the world none of the fear whoa dudes are gone I just got a gun to them hey get a jack yeah bud big table big case this tabletop is just before the big drop that got into Alex's head and we decided to session it a little bit and I think maybe it hopes to get a little loose for the drop but I wish we would have hit it a couple more times this thing was a lot of fun and it was so smooth all right it's time for a little singletrack sampler Redemption this is the drop that got into Alex's head yesterday no right now I'm nervous I know I said I wasn't nervous than I am [Applause] sitting here watching and filming Alex and Aiden hit this drop several times and the whole time I'm thinking you know this is well within my wheelhouse that shouldn't be a problem for me to do this every time I rolled up to it I just wanted to send it but never did these are all bummer thorns I'm most likely going around a drum I guess sometimes you just need a good non-pressure toe and to make everything work right oh yeah oh we haven't gone this way I don't wanna spoil the mood or anything but I did that drop behind you pretty much the same thing happen here as I'm filming Aiden and Alex do this drop it's a little janky looking but it's really not that bad of a drop you just kind of have to be precise on your speed and with Aiden's expertise it wouldn't be a problem but I really wanted to do this line that was off to the left there it's a little bit smaller I think but maybe a little bit more technical and I was really I was setting my mind to do it and then as soon as I went to pick up the bike Alex was like is there something loose in the linkage on the canyon torque and I didn't feel anything and he thought he felt something and then I thought I felt something and then didn't and then we tightened the bolts up and then and then at that time I was like you know what I think the moments passed I was worried about the bike messing up so I just called it and we were pretty much spent and it had to get back down and get some food and and roll onto stokes ville it is fast and loose Joe maybe slowing loose oh yeah so which lap was your favorite definitely this this last one last one where we were it strong I think that this is we call it right here cuz that was wicked where your hands are tired and all my on a small bike and you almost had of your wheel explode that lap yeah yeah I think was this the first lap since I heard the wheels yes that's awesome that was a good lap that was a really fun one did some things that both of us did something we hadn't done before both of us did a couple things that you know made us nervous we both got Redemption both like double Redemption and both did something new exactly dudes you can't ask for a solid day now source of food hell yeah it's that way goodbye snowshoe it has been fantastic we do love you Joe is doing a great job of piloting the nameless vidcast don't have a name of used to say Sheila no I'm just thinking about like three minutes ago I was thinking about we'll see we'll see really excited we got some food and now I'm ready for some beer we're going to meet up with some patrons and like not ch3 not Shruti I think it was mauled something like that I'll tell you that if when we get there I'll show you again so yeah Stoke gonna go meet them doing beer tonight

Great work, man! That drop is really weird (can look not big from one angle, but quite large from others). Just hit it twice for the WV enduro series finals. I probably sent it too deep, because race pace, but it felt harsh. Y'all hit it at the ideal pace and landed in the right spot.
And I am a super big fan of the tow in. It helped me get into bigger things than I would do on my own. And watching Alex and the two kids hit the second drop on sweetdreams makes it look doable. But I needed to see it done.
New goal is to hit that one next year.

Uncertainty can definitely be a precursor to injury. Good call Joe. Teenage resilience is long gone and long seasons are better than short ones.
