Day 2 highlights from Egna-Neumarkt. In
Ladies, there’s a big distance between the top three but some good performances overall. Eva Lotta KIIBUS of Estonia skated to the House of the
Rising Sun while producing a nice triple toe triple toe earning 59.78 to take third. Coming off the 3rd place finish last week in Zagreb Anna, FROLOVA of Russia skated beautifully to the music of Matilda
introducing the 61.43 to take second. Delivering the top class
short program earning 74.65 and a 13 point lead Kseniia SINITSYNA of Russia has a solid hold on top spot going into the free. In Dance third after the Rhythm Dance before fourth in the free Angelina LAZAREVA and Maksim PROKOFIEV of Russia skated well but made one mistake right at the end of the
program but were able to earn a 148.71 to win the bronze. Second after the rhythm dance and third in the free Natalie D’ALESSANDRO and Bruce WADDELL of Canada and an energetic program
earning 152.76 as they captured the silver. Winning by 12
points in Elizaveta KHUDAIBERDIEVA and Andrey FILATOV of Russia were the clear winners of the night with a wonderful quality and energetic program
earning a 164.92 to take home gold.
