hey what's up guys kevin here from snowboardprocamp I'm riding today with TJ you can check your mode on Instagram at Port archives you also check out my instagram at snowboardprocamp and we're working on two really fun tricks that you can do on the snow the butter pretzel and the butter bagel so these are two fun butter tricks that you can progress with a big time you can take it from the snow to a box and then even onto really difficult rails so two good tricks to know so we're going to ride down I'm going to focus on the bagel tricks and TJ is going to work on the pretzel alright let's go one thing that I'm really thinking about for the butter bagel is getting a little nollie into my tail so as I bring my wood around sideways for the butter is doing a little nollie so that I can get the tail butter going and staying a bit on to my heels so I don't catch that forward edge and then next I'm thinking about doing a little bit of an ollie so that I can get to twist around for the bagel loading up my tail and then starting to twist my body so that eyes like all the out of it I can twist out that bagel a good place to start with these butter tricks is just being static on the snow pop onto myself so any of you way to remember the direction that you want to go with the bagels versus the pretzels is for the bagel you hop into the butter and then you continue the twist in the same direction whereas with the pretzel it's kind of in the name it gets twisted so you get into the press and then you twist in the opposite direction okay let's try through the park and do some off the blocks okay so you got a nice beginner box blood the one thing that I really like to practice beforehand and it looks kind of funny it is just a little movement to help me get the twist off the box okay [Applause] whoo awesome those felt really good so let's ride down we'll do it again and TJ is going to give us some tips on the pretzel Roscoe oh yeah with the pretzel there's definitely a few things you want to keep in mind so to start it you're going to pop off your tail and land 90 on your nose that's going to build tension on your nose as you're pushing the snow and you can use that as leverage to push off of and get that pretzel 270 so when you're doing the pretzel one thing you really want to focus on is making sure you're keeping your weight on your uphill edge so you're not catching and falling over onto your face or onto your back last tip on the pretzel 270 guys that first rotation to start getting that tension is going to be all in your hips and then the 270 is coming from your shoulders to go in the opposite direction I think it's a part we'll do it for the pretzel off the box I'm focusing on landing on my front foot on my nose so that I can use that as leverage to push off of and get that opposite rotation as I'm coming off the end got it around when you guys do feel comfortable with this and you want to take it to a box my biggest piece of advice on the box is really focus on doing that first 90 all on your hips so you have enough flexibility in your upper body to get the 270 around cool guys so hope these tips help with your butter bagels and buttered pretzels you know start off on the snow and then take them to the boxes in the next video we're going to start taking them to more advanced boxes and some rails so that should be a lot of fun if you guys have any questions leave them down in the comments and tell us which turkey prefer and also if you guys will learn more tricks check out the snowboard trick playlist there's tons of videos on there to help you guys progress your riding so thanks for watching thanks PJ yeah stick and we'll see you guys the next video soon haha
Butter Pretzel VS Butter Bagel – Snowboard Trick Tutorial
This is confusing for someone who isn't goofy
But pretzel and bagel are the names for butter or boxes with regular aproaching… I mean, when performing those tricks on a street rail/box, a pretzel could be: a) Front nose 270, b) Back nose 270, c) Front lip 270, d)Back lip 270; and the same for bagels: a) Front tail 270, b) Back tail 270, c) Front blunt 270, d)Back blunt 270.
Right?
Thank you so much guys!
Thank you…. Keep those tutorials or whatevs alive…. Please ❤
Tj should start his own youtube channel
The difference between a butter pretzel and butter bagel, is sometimes you salt the pretzel and butter bagels are best in onion or everything
