thanks to Ed for helping get us as far now that we've got it on the dock the next trick is to build the cradle itself I've got some scrap oak here time to get to work [Applause] with front-end high the water will drain out of these will foot wells right here which is a good thing because the foot wells tend to accumulate water and then the water turns green it's generally nasty which is what I'm trying to avoid here it also gives me a chance to clean the bilge out when I get back from riding I can rinse a bilge and it'll all that practice water will run out the back there so that's good I don't really know exactly what the angles going to be this seems to be working pretty well right now the water is running out although the other end of the dock is high because I only have one ski on it so in order to really do a good test we're going to need to bring the other ski on board but I think I'm learning up about this little temporary structure to go ahead and build one side of beds for the other side which I'll do real basic design and we'll bring the yellow ski up on level things out and see how it's working at that point here we go [Applause] how are you [Applause] and all right hope you enjoyed that we got one side done we still have to put the ramp on the other side but it other than that it's pretty much done did a little testing everything's good I'd hope to do more right videos thanks to the folks that asked for ride videos we really plan to do that that afternoon we didn't get it done we went back to do it another day unfortunately my chief test pilot here he's kind of got some issues so anyway I owe you that we'll do it soon soon as the weather's good and he gets that thing working again we'll get you some pretty cool stunt videos but until then you know what to do tell him Carson like comment and subscribe comment and subscribe thanks that right Charlie Charlie you're going to comment and subscribe I think Tony's going to comment in crap ok I want everybody to subscribe and I'll get more preached that was pretty good

Working but not an ideal solution if you have a nice boat that you care about. Plus overshooting the ramp is a real issue… A for creativity and a C for execution.

What he needs to do is cut a pool noodle in half and stick in around the wood so the bottom doesnt get messed up

Nice concept guys. I would not use nails. Would use stainless steel screws and add a small float to keep ramp wood out of water. Also recommend a padded stopper to prevent going to far. Cradle could be wider

Now you need to put carpet on the ramp and where the jetski sits so you don’t scrack the bottom

I thought everyone used screws for modern construction? Screws can be easily removed and things changed!
But I guess you can say " He Nail it ! "

If you get a hand crank winch from a hardware store it could make getting the skis on the dock even easier

If my skis where older and I didnt care about the haul this would work great. I like our floating ski docks, they where both under 100 bucks.
