how's it going everybody and welcome back to the minecraft letsplay I am just going to my absolute favorite spot in the game and that is right over here this is probably my absolute favorite spot in this world at the very least it is so beautiful because it overlooks this village and it's just perfect especially for a builder like me and the Sheep is still here this is my buddy right here we need to tame them and but where are you going horse calm down now I'm gonna lose a horse today so yeah this is my favorite spot and whenever we transform the village because that's what you all told me I should do this is gonna be the perfect spot to look out and see our progress so that is extremely exciting but hello again welcome to episode 4 of the let's play today we are going to be building a cabin because quite frankly as much as I know you like the tent it's a little crowded and so I'm gonna show you exactly what we're gonna build it and that is right here in this valley it's going to be beautiful please don't wander too far please see it in your eyes he's a wanderer he's already gonna leave me I'm telling you we're gonna lose the horse so that's why we probably shouldn't even name it but this is where we're gonna build the cabin I think it's going to be perfect it's gonna be great for landscaping because I can do the cliff sides here and then try and get a pathway going all the way out and make a little entrance over there it's gonna be a great starter house area and then of course we can also keep the campground up there so this is gonna be a really fun little project very quickly but we're gonna work on this today but in the next episode we're gonna work on something else over there in the jungle but let's go ahead and check out in this little starter area that I where did you get okay it's a party in the cow pen I'm telling you look we're gonna keep them in the stable for now I know I know we're gonna adventuring again soon buddy but for now you can't wander off if you're in the stable actually I feel like no I can't jump over again okay so I want to show you exactly what I have done over there did you see how I dodged that berry just then oh yeah so this is our building area whenever I go building I like to bring a couple of things with me so of course we've got a bed which looks amazing and don't worry I'll explain this in just a moment we've got a campfire which is absolutely necessary and then a nice little wheelbarrow or at least a cart that has food I've got the necessities we've got all of the blocks that we're probably gonna need today and a couple of extra things I'll throw in here and there and of course crafting don't have a furnace but if we need to cook food we can do it on there now I know what you're thinking Zee why do you have wheels and also why do you have chains well I have a resource pack I don't have the wheels in the resource pack but you can at least download the chains go to my website link in the description and while you're there follow my Twitter and Instagram you know how it is you know it is and you can get this it's super cool its iron bars but instead it's using the chain from the lantern so it goes perfectly with that and then the will is just a painting but I've always loved doing this so it looks great that's what I've done alright before we get into building today we're actually gonna have to craft a load of campfires because I'm no easy builder here's the thing I always take things to the next level I don't do things like I'm supposed to do the campfire block was not originally intended for too much building I'm about to make oh come on rain you know why I enjoy it I'm about to make I think like 50 campfires which is pretty expensive it's not too bad but it's definitely up there I don't even think I have coal those so this is probably gonna be bad oh there we go perfect perfect okay so I've also got the logs which is good I think you can use pretty much any type of log and as you can see I've got this sticks so I'm gonna need a lot quite frankly I'm gonna need basically all of these 46 campfires and here's the thing that might not even be enough so I'm gonna go run and put that in the chests and we're gonna get started with building but first I think it's about to get dark and of course the rain is annoying so I am gonna go to sleep I'm gonna bring the dog in and we're gonna start fresh with a new day I am incredibly nervous to get started building this because this is our first big build of the entire series so this is going to be huge I'm excited to see what we can build them and I brought thing 1 and thing 2 with me as you could see here look at him they're just cozy on top of the bed and on top of the cart I don't really have a name for him yet thing 1 and thing 2 is temporary as you could probably guess and I have gotten your suggestions thank you by the way I'll definitely be picking a name soon but we're gonna need to go ahead and grab some things so thing number one is spruce wood this is going to be very exciting I have a couple of notes for this build now you have seen something like this before more than likely because I actually did build this in a video recently but I decided it would be the perfect survival home so I want to expand upon it and actually make it work but the first thing I'm gonna need to do of course is clear out the area I need to find the exact center or at least the placement of this cabinet and where we want it it's not going to be too huge in fact it's probably just gonna be generally a square but I'd still like to make sure I have room to expand if necessary I just realized I've been collecting the wrong type of wood this entire time I'm supposed to have dark oak wood so I'm gonna have to go out and explore and find some can we get some hashtag fell Z in the comments and if you're at the premiere go ahead put it in the chat see I told you that we'd be getting out again today to adventure I think there's a rude forest off in this direction I may be wrong but I think so I did do a little bit of scouting to make sure that I wanted to stay here so I think there's one over here cuz I do remember seeing one but this could be the wrong direction entirely so the good news is that we've got a swampland so if we ever need to get some slime balls so we don't have to wait for the wandering trader anymore and as you can see there is a roof forester right in front of us so now I just gotta get oh that was a spooky noise I've just got to get a ton of root forest dark oak wood and then we'll be good to go and you know with everything I just said about this horse wandering off all the time I I'm probably just gonna cut down the trees while on the horse so this is gonna take some time all right I think we've got enough I also got a little bit of leaves in case we decide to use them but that should be enough at least for the facade because we're really only gonna build the front and the porch because I don't have all of the dimensions yet so let's go ahead and sleep and then finally we can actually commence building I hope you were cozy all night you sat on me dude all right so we're gonna need the dark oak first and foremost and what I want to do is essentially build out by I think it's 11 blocks and we're gonna need to actually get the full face here so we might not actually have enough because of this but I need to figure this out so we're definitely gonna have to have one in the middle and then five out I'm pretty sure so we can start there and go ahead and do this same design and then of course we're gonna strip it so let's take one off the end here let me count this one two three four five six seven eight nine ten one more there we go and then of course we're gonna strip it and my idea is that we can go ahead and do this 11 blocks high and then blend in some spruce wood with it and that should give us a nice texture for sort of a log cabin so it's very exciting there's a lot of fun little projects that's going into this house I'm hoping that you were incredibly excited at just like I am I think I may have said 11 blocks high that would be outrageous so we're only doing 11 by 6 or in this case 11 by 7 because I actually want this to be the ground level so just because we're a little bit lower I'm went ahead and did another row there but now what I want to do is go ahead and break through and essentially create a blending of spruce wood and then these dark oak wooden logs so that should work out perfectly but I need to get this sorted there we go so I'm gonna just do a random pattern here I don't really have any method to blending it's all about just kind of random placement but you don't want to do it too random because if it's too random it'll look pretty bad so just as a general tip whenever you're doing blending like this to get more texture into a build what I always do is I just make sure that wherever I start from it makes it look as though it's spreading so basically imagine some sort of spreading material that's slowly taking over instead of randomly appearing you basically want it to just slowly blend into it so that's kind of what I do whether I'm building pathways or doing a loss like this it's essentially the method that I follow and so far it has worked perfectly in for me I'm gonna go ahead and raise this up a little bit my idea is that I'm gonna essentially terraform and take this level of land and blend it in and then fill it in because honestly I don't really need this to go down it would look a little weird if that were the case but for now we can just fill it up to that point so now what I want to do is go ahead and start working on the porch and then we can throw a roof on this bad boy it's gonna look really really cool but I did just realize I also need dark oak for the roof so I'm probably gonna have to go back and get some because we really don't have too much now but for now we're going to need some trapdoors so let me go ahead and craft as many as I think we're going to oh we're gonna need a lot more than ten oh geez I did not come prepared today see this is why I was nervous I knew it would not go smoothly but it's okay it's okay we can figure it out together so what I'm gonna do is essentially go out by three blocks right we're gonna do that that and then that and I'm gonna slowly stack up here basically by two blocks and then close them in and then on this side where's my axe there it is we're going to basically put a wooden pillar here and I always like to use the full log it just looks a lot better and then I'm pretty sure we're gonna go five blocks in this way basically right into the center or at least I thought maybe it's actually four wait a minute no maybe it is I think it is like this actually so we're gonna do that because we're gonna put a stairway here so three blocks looks a lot better than four blocks so we're gonna do that and essentially fill in all of the gaps with trap doors just like this now I know that honestly you're probably not really too interested in me just explaining this like a tutorial you probably just want normal commentary so how are you doing welcome to the minecraft letsplay this I gotta admit while I'm building here this has been a super fun process like I am really excited to be doing this again doing the premier's has been super super cool it's just a new experience altogether I'm just really excited and I've got so many creative ideas I'm just wanting to play Minecraft a lot more so it's been super awesome thank you so much to everybody who so far has joined me on this adventure because it has been super fun so far now just really quickly I need to fill this space in so I'm gonna go grab a couple of things so I built the water pail because we're gonna need a lot of water and I completely forgot about that because we are about to have to extinguish all of these campfires and I'm not too excited about this because I normally do it with the debug stick which is going to lead me into my next conversation I actually don't even know how I'm gonna do this I guess what we could do is place all the fire first oh geez you know what we didn't even need the water pail I just realized we could get the water back this is gonna take so long it's gonna be so hard to talk while I do this – unless we turn the sounds down there we go but we don't want to forget to turn them back up so I currently have fire tick turned off otherwise this house would go up in flames everything would that I build because I always use fire in my builds in some way so I did turn off fire tick I use the game roll to do that and what I wanted to talk about is whether or not it's okay to do certain cheesy things in this let's play I'm perfectly fine with it but I really do want to respect your opinions and if you'd prefer that I don't if the majority prefers that I don't then I would be perfectly fine not doing them now what I'm talking about is two things really one the debug stick which allows me to essentially do this kind of stuff without having to use water so I could easily change the state of this but more than anything it allows me to build some really cool potted plants and stuff like that and I do have a video that I've recently done called build hacks and minecraft that'll show the kind of stuff I'm talking about that also requires that I use some commands now if I do that kind of stuff I would be willing to pay for it with diamonds so just let me know what you think of that and also is it all right if I use player heads so just let me know what you think of those down in the comments below I would love to get your opinions I won't do them if you would prefer I don't but I kind of would like to do them I'm not in a lot alright so now what I need to do is change the direction it to be that way there we go you know we could keep the fire on for the ultimate defense net mechanism that would be insane and we are almost done I'm just getting these across here this is kind of a nice little trim around our porch to really divide it off and then I think we've got to do the same thing here on this side and that should bring us exactly where we want to be and the only thing now is building the stairs which I'll do in just a moment and that looks super super good I am incredibly proud of that so this is a little tricky but it should work out oh geez please don't ruin anything I'm building the staircase now and I don't quite have enough but luckily for me we've got this can't fire over here I'm gonna take it all really Wow see that's what I get for trying to cut corners that's exactly what I get for trying to cut corners now I have to craft too and there we go completed now we really don't have to deal with camp fires anymore at least not until we build a chimney so this looks great I'm gonna put some fence post under here to make it look a little bit better of course do some gardening but this is our porch what do you think I think it looks fantastic I know some of you may be a little bit weary because why would I use this many campfires and it's simple it just it's a beautiful model I think it looks fantastic for anything that you're building with wooden slat type materials so it just looks like a bunch of two by fours that have been thrown together to make some sort of wooden porch which is perfect for this aesthetic that we're going for and once we add in the overhang and a little bit of shrubbery it is going to look fantastic alright so I have essentially finished the main part of the build now all we really need to do is decorations but first I wanted to show off this chain again because I just noticed it looks so good here this was an iron bar before and now ivory textured it so I really recommend you guys give it a shot because it looks super super cool but I've gathered a couple of decorations as you can see and we're gonna go ahead and get this decorated let me clear up some space by armoring back up we're closing in on the end of the episode so I'm really not gonna be able to build too much more of this but by the time we come back hopefully I'll have the actual shape done and hopefully some sort of interior and maybe even the landscaping because I really don't want to focus on just this build this is a starter house this is not supposed to be a huge project so in the next episode I'm hoping that we'll start working on a fishing village but what I want to do I've added another layer to this surface as you can see I want to go ahead and take this material away and eventually we're going to put a slab here so we need to actually grab one really quickly but it's going to look really really cool once all of these decorations aren't in place and a little bit of lag there sorry about that there's also a secret embedded in this and it's super super exciting so what I need to do first is go ahead and get rid of these and we're gonna play some trapdoors down as you can see for the roof we've got some dark oak as well I think that's a fantastic touch and I'm also gonna do some potted plants here I need to replace that sign here in a moment there we go it's gonna look really really cool once all of this is done I'm super excited the leaves to look a little different than I wanted them to but it's of course because we're in a spruce buy them so I cannot complain so that is essentially detail number one the next thing we're gonna do is come over here and basically place a window but the only downside here is we don't have grass blocks because again I don't have so punch and I want it I want it so bad because I wanted the blocks up here to be mushroom blocks but as you can see they're just normal okay and it looks all right but mushroom blocks look a lot better hopefully by next time I'll have it but we also need grass blocks here for now I'm not gonna worry too much about it and I actually think I messed up I needed a little bit more but that's fine I'll get it later just essentially a design to make it look like the window is open of course and also we're gonna go ahead and just do that there and I think that general design is done we're just gonna get a lantern somewhere and there I also want to do a plant here but the only way I can do it is if you guys let me use commands like debug stick and stuff I really want to do it but all right I need chorister I'm just gonna get some of the gardening done and then I'll show you the final product ah don't you just love the look of a nice log cabin this is an absolutely fantastic build I love it so so much it's not quite where I want it like I said I want to get mushroom blocks there but overall it looks really really good and there's a couple of things that we do need to do to really fix it up but for now I'm gonna consider this a job well done and I want to reveal to you a secret now if you're building something like this in your own world this is something that you can do that is super super cool this is where I'm going to be hiding a certain amount of resources I'm probably going to put a secret layer underneath this cabin and the way that we're gonna access it is through this mechanic here and that's essentially how we're gonna get down to this layer and it's gonna be completely secret and absolutely amazing so the only people that are gonna know are those of you who watch the episodes regularly because anyone else who downloads the map later on when I release it they might not know about it and they're gonna be like where in the world is this chest room it's gonna be amazing but that's essentially it for today I hope you have enjoyed this has been a fantastic episode I absolutely love building it's definitely my favorite thing to do in Minecraft so whatever we get the chance to do that in let's play format it's super exciting if you enjoyed it let me know in the I think using heads is fine, but using debug stick and canceling the fire spreading is very cheaty and makes this let's play be like a tutorial

Hey 👋 zee I love the campfire porch
But on the cheating topic The would like to quote a youtuber idk who but they said that it shouldn’t matter wether you use creative in a survival world or not, or cammands or mods etc. so I believe that if it helps you have a funner time playing the game then do it. even if it may be considered cheating
