Has to be one of the greatest comebacks in Boston sports history! I still remember being with my wife at the garden and 5 of her friends, they all left after the 4th Toranto goal. And I stayed with my wife being pissed at life. Little did i know, one of the greatest experiences I've ever had.

I still have my ticket stub in my wallet as this goes down as one of the greatest comebacks by the Boston Bruins. I could believe how many fans left that night thinking it was over. It nearly took me an entire week to get my voice back from screaming. So many great players from that team gone now but I will never forget that game. “I bleed black & gold.”

This was the gold standard for game 7s in my book, hands down. This is the stuff you dream of as a hockey nut! Game 7! Huge, last-minute comeback! OVERTIME!! Not a Bruins nor a Leafs fan, and you can say what you will about Jack Edwards, but this sent chills down my spine. I wondered what it would be like to have had a dog in the fight, to experience Boston's triumph! Too bad it'll never happen again (and certainly not to my Sharks, that crap's way too big for a team with a fraction of the history of these clubs)…

If I'm ever feeling defeated I watch this. It reminds me I am not Canadian, or a maple leafs fan.

kulemin-grabo-macurthur was the best third line in the league. This Leafs team was sneaky deep. Too bad the defence and goaltending sucked

I know this looks bad on the leafs but give them credit they were a team that shouldn’t of made the playoffs and they forced a game 7 against the bruins and they even had a 3 goal lead in the third

theres an old saying… what goes around comes around… as a bruins fan i wish they lost to the leafs in game seven instead of giving up 2 goals in 17 seconds to the blackhawks in game 6 to lose the cup that same year…

Bergy gets the hero nod for this game but if you wanna know the truth it was Lucic who orchestrated the comeback for Boston. Watch the entire third period and you'll see Lucic was just banging everything in sight and had the 4-2 assist, the 4-3 goal and then is in on the play on the tying goal. Lucic was so huge for Boston in big games and at big times…late in the 3rd and in OT. Think game 7 OT 2011 against Montreal…beauty assist to Horton. Earlier in game 5 he assisted on Horton's game 5 OT winner too. Game 6 against Chicago he puts Boston up 2-1 in the 3rd only to see Seidenberg pull a brain cramp with the Hawks net empty.
I still can't believe Lucic didn't retire a Bruin. It was like trading Cam Neely. And then for Sweeney to screw up the 2015 draft when he traded Lucic for a 1st round pick. A pick that could have been Barzal. Instead we essentially got Zboril and Senyshyn for Lucic and Hamilton. The big laugher is Sweeney winning GM of the Year. After the Backes deal, the Beleskey deal and trading Reilly Smith for Hayes to go along with the 2015 debacle Sweeney should have been fired. If it wasn't for the amazing coaching job Butch Cassidy has done Boston would have struggled to make the playoffs the last 3 years. Instead we came within a game of winning the Cup and really got robbed. Boston was the better team in that series.
