THE OLYMPIC HANDBOOK, HOLDING ITSFIRST FIGURE SKATING COMPETITION IN WELL OVER A DECADE…….. THE BOZEMAN FIGURE SKATING CLUB PUT ON THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN CLASSIC AT THE GALLATIN COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 12 YEARS…. Boys and girls from all over the state came to compete in the two-day event. THE ATHLETESAREN T QUITE READY FOR PYEONGCHANG,BUT IT STILL TAKES THE SAME DEDICATION TO ACE THEIR ROUTINES….. committed the girls here are. “The clich\life lesson from skating is that when you fall down, you get back up. But it really teaches a lot of discipline, it teaches perseverance. It s a lot of commitment that you learn that if you commit to the sport, you rehere at five in the morning putting in those hours to better yourself. These girls come into this rink when it s like negative-five in the morning and they are still skating. It s impressive, I ve been really blown away by how committed the girls here are.”
