well we finally got our snow that should have come long ago but now we got about the amount of snow that we should have had quite a while ago it finally showed up so onyx and I are gonna tinker here with his toy we're gonna get that thing going get it ready so we can play in the snow later on we're also gonna have to blow the yard out alright onyx is sled here has got some old gas in it so we're gonna pull the carburetor off clean that up try and get it going put some fresh gas in it probably probably dump some race gas in it yeah cuz that'll clean it all out we're gonna take the players and we're gonna take this line apart here open up the gas and just let the whole thing drain empty so why don't we grab a players out of here perfect yeah that'll work if we can fit that in there trying to get these big mitts inside of tiny spaces that's not working it's not working a few minutes of fighting and realizing that I can barely get my hand back here I'm gonna do this the super lazy way and just pour some race gas in there hopefully I can get it started and get it running and that race gas will clean it out that's what good mechanics do right I can get the bowl off and clean out underneath there I would hope that that would be our problem a lot of times that's the issue cuz that's where the gas is held you got it onyx mmm-hmm well I just don't understand why this thing wouldn't run so I did figure out how to get this thing out of here I still got a couple Springs I gotta take off and the choke here but anyway I'm gonna get that carburetor off here and get through that because after seeing the way that bowl looked there was obviously problems inside of there so we'll get it out get it cleaned up obviously the issue is what I thought it was but it's just way worse than I thought it was that LG's gotten down inside here I'm gonna tear this apart a little bit as much as I dare now I'm gonna see if remember how to put this thing back together or not nice [Applause] pull it up by there we're gonna put some other gas in it [Applause] all right the snowmobile runs but not exactly the way we want it to run seems like it's running a little bit lean because he can't run it without the choke on which means it's not getting enough gas so we got to cut the air down too so I don't know if that's just stopped from having it on race gas maybe it's running a little bit lean or if that's something I didn't get cleaned out of the carburetor but I've got a buddy with a small engine shop and if I can't get it fixed by just putting 87 octane in it I'll take the carburetor off bring it up to him and he's got a way of cleaning that out really well in the meantime now I got to get this yard blown out we got about a good foot of snow to move in this yard probably 10 to 16 inches of snow first thing I know is the wind's coming out of the west so all this stuff is going to blow that way to the east I'd like to blow it downwind so that it's not going all over the windows because eventually it becomes pretty hard to see anything so I'm going to start at this end of the yard and work my way that way for those of you who have never blown snow it looks like a lot of fun for a while but it gets old in a hurry it's just a pain in the butt moving snow thankfully we haven't had a lot of it this year so it hasn't been too bad I can't complain I don't think there's really a lot to teach anyone here the basic idea is you back up hold the snow over there and then you drive forward and you just keep going back and forth thank you scripts not too complicated but for those who have never done it or even for those who have done it it's probably fun to watch someone else do it this tractor doesn't quite have the power to handle it it goes too fast even in the lowest gear in Reverse he wants to go too fast so I've not taken quite a full swipe of it I'm taking about six feet out of eight because otherwise it'll break those shear bolts and it just binds the tractor down a lot so it's a little inner part for this blower be nice to have a lot finger blower and a bigger tractor but that just isn't something we have right now and this does the job we don't have a gigantic yard so it does an efficient job for us all right since we're not working very hard today and I'm blowing snow and I don't really know what I'm gonna teach you guys exactly about blowing snow because it's a pretty simple process you just kind of watch it work and we're not working very hard today so I figured I'd kind of show you guys what's going on with the race cars because I've had a ton of people asking about that so with that this is our dirt late-model dad and I owned this together I'm the driver we run it in Minnesota and the Dakotas mostly we've traveled all the way from Saskatchewan to Kentucky with it but we don't have a an open motor anymore so we mostly run it just in with Soda stuff it's a dirt track oval track I've been racing racing in the Late Models since 2006 been running dirt track since 2000 ran go-karts before that got Onix a go-kart over here he ran it for a couple years but they changed the rules on him so he can't he can't run with a cage and seat belts anymore so we decided against that so he didn't actually run it at all last summer but we'll get him out in something we'll get him racing something I don't know what they've got a couple mini modified classes around here so we'll we'll get them in one of those but speaking of Modifieds this is the modified I Drive which we don't own a guy by the name of slap owns this car right here same thing dirt track oval track just a different division that we're in this is an open-wheel car if you're if you're in the Midwest you would you would know them as like a an IMC a IMC a modified or what's the dirt car mod a UMP mod this is basically like a UMP mod us MTS modified we do run a little bit different engine rules in with soda but we actually do have a where's that motor right here we did get a u.s. mts motor so we are hoping to take that car down to Humboldt Kansas in a couple of weeks and go racing with the modified down there because we do have a big motor for it now I'm excited about that I've never run the big motor in the modified we ran a few out live shows with the late-model back in the day but with the modified we we haven't run any of those yet so I'm excited about that chassis wise for guys that know what they're looking at here the modified is an mb car out of wisconsin from jimmy mars and the late model is a bob pierce car i've been in a bob pierce since 2010 and now a bob's had a little bit of change in around at his shop so i don't know what we're gonna do for next year we we haven't done a lot with that car actually I'd love to sell this car if anybody out there he's looking for a car they got a limited class around us or on Minnesota now so this would make a good car for that this is a 2016 this car sticking around this has been way too good of a car for us to get rid of right now so that's that that's really that's what's going on in here we've been involved in dirt track racing for quite a few years and it's kind of been kind of been my thing that's my hobby that's what I do so that's that I'm gonna go back to snow blowing now one yard done one yard to go moans no was a tough job and now we leave you with the sounds of snow removal

I am surprised you don't have a snow plow attachment for a pickup truck. I'd make cleaning the drive and parts of the yard much faster.

Why don’t you just put the 8260 on the snowblower. More power.

Used Delegeman front plow 10 foot! Check into it cheaper than snow blowers. They may pay you when you leave a dealer!

Here in South Mississippi, it snows maybe one day every three years. Whole darn county shuts down too when it snows even though its usually just a half inch.

I bought a Phantom Nemesis kart last year and my nephew ran it for about half a season last year. We started slow in 2018 but found some speed. So much that he hung a straw bales coming out of turn 2, hit the wall and got thrown about 30 feet. Broke his collar bone so my sister said he was done.

Ethanol pulls water out of the humid air. Go to you located small airport and buy "avgas" , non ethanol. Or get Stabil for your gas can storage. In the spring run the engine until it is out of gas.

Why not just get a 16ish foot pusher for that tractor? Can get a used one cheap and would go much faster than that blower.

I've never heard of a racing organization that decides against safety items. That's honestly pretty lame of them especially in a small class like that where a kid could get seriously hurt.

Bob Pierce is not to far from me here in Illinois, we ran a late model from 82-91 winning 3 Track Championship's at Spoon River Speedway. I got my start at 14 helping Don Onken with his rail he mixed his own fuel the car was called Home Brew, then we got kicked out of Havana it made the starter cry so we went grudge racing and always won the first 2. Now he's got the OFR Oil Filter Recyclers business in Easton with a 55ft cigarette boat powered by twin engines making 4000hp it's called American Ethanol Mystic#23 they hold the record for speed in 3/4 mile at 214mph. He's got a YouTube video that's awesome I told him I want to go for a ride. Back in 76 I was turning wrenches on the Family Sprint Car we had Rob Caho driving it after the original driver got sick then I switched over to help my Cousin with the Late Model, got to meet Scott Bloomquist in 88 at Eldora and I guess know he is looking for somemore help a buddy of his sent me his phone number once you get it in your blood you can't get rid of it. I ran dragbikes for 4 years winning 3Track Championship's and then getting a runner up and had built a new bike and everything got stolen in Peoria, they found it torched and the frame cut up with the motor and trans gone with the electronic's. I was ready for it it was going to be a 4:60 or faster in the1/8th and run probably 180+.but everything I learned was from Don Onken he's a mastermind and can design and build anything that's what happened he was the boss at National By Products and redesigned the grease beds they didn't like it and he patented it.I love your videos, I help a Buddy of mine farm, it's where I worked as a kid taking care of the pig's, mowing, cleaning out grain bins and chisel plowing at night after school and my other job.
