Alright guys today’s video is for all of you
ice cream lovers out there. We have come to Nakano Broadway in search
of the biggest ice cream in Tokyo, Japan. I’m super excited. Yes, it is raining outside. Yes, we are still having ice cream. So let’s go in and see what it is all about. So in order to find this place you’re going
to take the north exit at Nakano Station (中野駅) which brings you to this mall entrance. It almost looks like an arcade you just go
straight in. So what you have to do to find this ice cream
place. You walk all the way through the arcarde and
then at the very end you’re going to see a sign that says Nakano Broadway. That is the entrance to the shopping centre. So yeah we’ve just reached that right now. .We are one step closer to ice cream. And from there once we are inside this mall
we have to go to the basement B1F. Here we go. Cutting through traffic. So it is kind of like a big supermarket down
here. You can buy fish, fresh produce. We know the ice cream shop is at basement
level but we’re not entirely sure where so we’re just going to have to walk around. We’ll let you know when we find it. Alright so Audrey is going to get the biggest
ice cream cone. Are you excited for this? Super excited. I actually saw someone just order the large
one and it is really is as big as that. It is unbelievably huge. 550 Yen is a pretty good deal too. 8 flavors! Yeah. And as you can we’re not the only people in
line. So yeah we’re just waiting for it to come. Oh my gosh! Let’s get lots of napkins and lots of spoons! Okay we’re finding a little quiet space in
the corner here. Oh my gosh I’ve never seen anything like this. I feel like we’re going to drop it or something. Alright let’s try the biggest ice cream cone
in Japan! Let me just say it is so hot here at basement
level. Like I am sweating right now. I know. Even though it is a rainy day. I feel like they maybe crank up the temperature
so you’ll be like oh ice cream! Yep. Mmmm. Oh my gosh. So let’s go through the flavors. I think that is strawberry. Try them all. Mmmm. Is it good? Uh huh. This one is mmmm. That is coffee. That is like Mocha. Oh wow. And it is not just coffee. So that is the second. This is the third flavor. Vanilla. Vanilla. That one is easy to decipher. Yeah. This one has to be chocolate. Mmmhmm. Chocolate. Then we have. We have not sure what that one is huh? Could it be banana. It could be yeah. It might be banana. Probably banana. That is a popular flavor for milk and ice
cream in Japan. So we have another pink one. Oh wow. Mmm. Strawberry maybe. It tastes a bit like strawberry but I already
had strawberry. Maybe it is like a different variety of strawberry
like white strawberry. White strawberry. And that looks like green tea at the bottom. Mmmhmm. I wonder what the blue one is? If it is like bubblegum flavor or something. Green tea (Matcha). And last but not least. Mmmm. What is that one? Okay I’ve heard there is this type of soda
in Japan. Yep. And they make blue ice cream flavored like
the soda (Ramune). Wow. It does taste quite a bit like bubblegum. This is looking lopsided isn’t it? I know! It looks like the leaning Tower of Pisa in
the form of soft serve ice cream. Oh my gosh. It is hilarious. Oh okay I’m going to let you have a turn here
Sam. Yes. Okay I don’t know how we’re going to. I’m going to hand you the camera as it is
rolling just like that. The heaviest ice cream I’ve ever had. Just going to try a bit here. Mmmm. I have to say that the flavors are quite rich. I thought maybe the quality wouldn’t be so
good but it is actually pretty decent. This is really nice soft-serve ice cream. Oh the coffee one is by far my favorite so
far. Yeah. I mean I’ve only had two. The vanilla is pretty ho hum. And chocolate. I’m just worried about this looking so lopsided. Oh my gosh. Also if you drop the ice cream they don’t
replace it. Okay. I think we need to start eating from the top
because this is looking too dangerous. Just start chomping it down. Alright I’m going to take a big bite from
the top. There we go. Oh my gosh. No avoiding brain freezes. This is so this is so ridiculous. What a great idea though but I can’t believed
we haven’t dropped it yet. Super lopsided. Wow by far though my favorite is the coffee. Mmmhmm. Which one was yours? Yeah. My mouth is full of ice cream. I would have to agree. It is kind of like a Mocha. Oh it is so rich. I really like that one. I’m going to attack the coffee. And I was just thinking know where else we’ve
had massive giant ice cream is in Korea. Yeah in Seoul. Dongdaemun. In Dongdaemun. We used to buy those in the summer in the
market. With that ice cream that we used to have in
Korea it was only one or two flavors. Yeah. Tops. You couldn’t get 8 of them. It wasn’t this rainbow of flavors like this. No. This is so cool. Oh my gosh. We’re going to have no trouble finishing this
let me tell you. Hahaha. Should we do another switcheroo? So I can eat some more. It is so hard to eat. We should talk about the price. What is was 550 Yen. 550 Yen so in US dollars
that would be roughly about $5 US dollars maybe a little bit less. Maybe like $4.90 or 4.80. So highly affordable to try this. Mmmhmm. Massive ice cream cone which I think is the
biggest it is definitely the biggest we’ve ever seen. So guys if you’ve seen an ice cream that is
bigger than this let us know where you had it. Like which city, which country and if it was
similar to this in terms of like a rainbow of flavors. We’d be really curious to know. Get some ice cream inspiration. Some ice cream inspiration. Maybe we’ll travel there next in search of
ice cream. Haha. We may just do that. Okay we need to trade because this is vanishing
too quickly. So I had to fight to get this back from Sam. Hahaha. But um you did. You really did. Mmmm. Okay I wanted to talk about why they sell
these big ice cream cones. And apparently it is so that if you can come
here as a family or with a big group of friends and you want to try all of the flavors you
can just share. Yeah. Like you can order a big cone. Everyone can enjoy a little sample of all
of the flavors. And we actually saw families ordering them. Like there were parents with a couple of kids. I have to say the flavors near the top are
my favorite. Yes. Like the chocolate, the coffee, the strawberry
which is long gone. Yeah. The banana I’m not a huge fan of. Nope. And the blue one the soda one I feel like
it is an acquired taste. Yeah. Also the vanilla is pretty bland. Mmmhmm. Yeah. So you are right the best flavors are at the
top for sure. And they are almost gone. So yeah that is a wrap for this ice cream
cone. I feel like I’m starting to lose my voice. You are choking on it there is so much to
eat. Oh my gosh. But yeah if you want to find the biggest ice
cream cone in Tokyo come to Nakano Broadway. There wasn’t that big of a line. Like there were a few people here on a weekend. But honestly it is not like one of those places
that is going viral and you have to stand in line for an hour and nothing like that. Nope. Um yeah it was pretty tasty. Pretty refreshing. This video is short and sweet because obviously
we are dealing with a melting ice cream. Yes. But yeah it is fun so when in Japan. Cheers! Cheers! See you guys in the next food video.

On your next trip to Argentina you need to have a taste of the giant artisanal ice cream that it's being sold in Tigre. They manage to “elongate” the scoop to an even bigger serving than the one you had in Tokyo. Also, I think the chocolate dipping it comes with helps to keep it in place on the cone. Here's an example near the 6:20 mark. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmfOqa7-uJU
