I snowboarded for the third time today, the slopes were icy af and I kept catching my heel edge and hurting my butt (Toe edge too sometimes but a bit less)
When I would finally get to the nice snow I could finally turn nicely, anytime some ice was on the way I would fall again. Do you have any advice ?

Just switched from a non-directional board to a directional board and now I can't do proper turns anymore. My nose kinda hooks itself in the snow now which leads to me falling, really weird. Maybe sticky snow conditions adding to this? Please, tips would really be appreciated.

Your video helped my 9 years old son a lot!! We will watch more together. If you can provide a video just for young snowborders, that would be awesome.

I good way to practice switch is to practice it on your skateboard. Then, when you get to the mountain, your brain does not need to connect as many neurons.

I have watched dozens of your videos since getting back on a board after about 6 years! One thing I have noticed is that on some steeper runs, I am pulling up on the front foot and if I look straight down I am basically putting my weight on the rear leg. Regular riding this doesn't seem to be an issue, on the less steep hills at least. Is this unusual? And if so, how do I go about breaking this bad habit?

I love the relaxed delivery of these vids mate, I love that Chris is an intermediate boarder like rest of us trying to learn shit instead of some boarding genius making it all look easy. I sincerely hope you are making a living from this, you deserve it.
