welcome to the predator world ten ball championship proudly presented by Q Sports International and hosted here in Las Vegas at the Rio all suites hotel and casino we now have a one loss I'd match and whoever wins moves on to our final 16 we'd like to thank our other sponsors for the event diamond billiard products Kamui and Omega now let's meet our two opponents for this match first up hailing from Canada we put our hands together for Alex Hagia lion and his opponent hailing from Japan we put our hand the other for Toro Quarry Bay Oishi gentlemen have a great match and you may lag for break and good evening everybody and welcome to the Rio Hotel here in Las Vegas is the $100,000 added predator world ten ball championships brought to you by Q sports international we've got a big match in store Jim White's very happy to be joined by Jeremy Jones and Jeremy we were talking just before this match started alex has literally just come off a loss and they've shut him over here to the CSI arena to play Cora bye ashie and if there's anyone that can handle coming off a loss and getting thrown right back into the fire pit it might be Peggy lion yeah he's been in this situation before but it's hard enough to come off a hard fought win you know you can have a letdown many think that way and let alone a hard-fought loss on the on the winter side that would have secured his final spot his spot in the final 16 well it's a race to eight the winner of this will make up the last 16 we've got our eight winners on the a side that eight winners from the B side losers bracket will be drawn into tomorrow so the winner of this will be in the knockout stages it'll be raised to ten at that point but the rules there's a forty second shot clock employed here on the main table don't think that she's gonna get this back across corner Bank and offers a little bit oh well he kind of crossed it over naturally and I thought he would spin around the three with some inside to where the cue ball might lay behind the ten template being used to rack the balls kurebayashi gave Kasper madkin and a donut leading up to this one eat nothing he beat him look like at first he was gonna play the one into the two nine on the cue ball behind the three which I really like now he's gonna try and get him behind the eight he's the cue ball to go a little bit pretty good effort and he's left a tough shot that's the one thing about the way he went as he knew he was gonna leave one that was tough to get position on the two especially with the seven being there so really kind of still forced to try and make this ball hung him and then I'm in place safe from there yeah I would think so because the safety from here isn't that easy well seems way tougher than the shot so he'd probably minimize cue ball movement just get past the three and the five and try and work from there I don't think any reason to really go all out okay it agreed he wanted to get a little better on on the safety dude that one beautifully over distance now he can try and duck behind that nine so that one good shot on the one Alex was hoping it opens the door he needs a mistake from kurebayashi here though with the for being there he's got a thread that needle may be going one two maybe three rails around the ten and eight and to the back side of the two ball I'm not really sure of what else he has so he's got to kind of aim high and add a lot of right side spin let the cue ball wrap just below the eight he'll have some speed on this Oh a nice hit beautifully done and again I'm just how accurate are the guys on the kick shots Jim they've been on this table I've seen some tremendous efforts I mean even where they've called pockets a kick to a bank called the pocket got it and won the match and won the match and out and won the match we kind of wondered about that earlier I think it was Lou we were elected to play safe young great becoming player from Chinese Taipei and you know he played he played a percentage shot but again I thought that Bank was on yeah I remember I just can just get through to this – you have to spin the cue ball a little low it's too clean hits us it's an opening game a longshot on the one and then that little subtle swerve around the four I believe and now back in perfect position to try and snare this opening rack I lost a real tough battle to the younger ko eight-six they came right across about I'm gonna say a matter of about 50 feet from one table to the CSI arena here doesn't have to really do much here Alex likes to move this ball to rail more than sacrificing the distance on the seven I'd also like to thank Diamond billiard products for supplying all the tables here beautiful match tables Kamui they've got a booth out here in the arena somewhere as well as Omega billiards all sponsors of this event you know that so much work goes into putting these events together and even more to making them the success that they are kurebayashi will probably be very well aware of Alex and vice-versa played a lot against each other and events certainly the other side of the Pacific Tiger lion does secure the opening rack there were no mistakes made just very good shot making and forge the opening and took it shot on the one and the nice safety a nice kick return but cute back Hirabayashi now I made a nice out from there now we'll be breaking in Game two he hit a lag that you normally wouldn't see from Alex came up pretty short but I have something to do with last time he played on this table you've suffered a loss I talked to him after he said that man it's just one of the fastest tables he had played on quite some time so wonder if that was in his head coming over from one of the outer tables settling into the break winning that one against concur by a she's break certainly won't put him in that well he'll favor the one must end up on the side rail I'm guessing because he really hit the rack will so I'm guessing the one went up to the in rail back down happens a lot when you're really hitting the brake well you get a lot of energy of that one ball coming off the rack and it'll actually go all the way to the top rail Jim and you see where it's look at the possible Bank here I think that one will Bank past the three look at cross side back as well and he looks like he's chipping it down behind the 210 a couple of rails but the one on the handrail that's got to go a little perfect yeah just nestling up to the – taking the jump shot away and the eights got him a little hampered as far as the kick on the side rail just like the natural angle so I'm gonna have to manipulate the cue ball somehow maybe two rails to the bottom rail here the left side rail and at the one bow that way something like what he's doing think about this the three rails underneath is not bad if you can kick the one ball upward off the third rail you got a good chance to maybe not leave that greatest shot well it was a jamup safety if he tried to go around that one the way that he did he could probably take ten tries at it and not do it and Alex looking at this one – – because don't want to get super thin on the – with the forges having the lower left he wants to get pretty good shape on the three or he's gonna have to settle for a four or five combination later or just you just move one bulge in like if the seven wasn't there just slide up the side rail with know where he's getting a proposition on the two I still may do that but I think he's just gonna creep next to the seven bow on the left side if you're looking at your monitor no reason to go to the back side of it take a chance yeah so he'll just creep into that little bitty area there still a little awkward because you'll notice if he comes back it gets kind of flat on the three units not so easy to get some cue ball movement tell you what the four or five combination is not bad you have to settle for that okay so that tells me that's what he's doing right he's gonna settle for the combo yeah he's gonna play this off two cushions and swing it back just past the center of the table this is where you just use your talent to float into position I don't think there's any need to come to the third rail now he's looking can I get short position on the side talked about this before I think now it's a real I was taking a chance here and I just kind of get okay got a shot but I think that was awfully risky at all that to stay away from a four or five combination that isn't what ladies and gentlemen was not tough you can see where the five leis looking at you a little surprised to the way they played that I never want to question anyone with Alex's ability or create creativity but did you didn't bring that ten ball into the equation there didn't he with that shot yeah it didn't seem really anything that speed control was had anything to do with the shot you can see the speed he hit it he was trying to really make it kill off the third and fourth rail and get on the floor and I believe it was me and you talked about it at times I think Alex tries to avoid some things that uses knowledge and other parts of his game that he has Manny just happy who else would you want shooting that four or five they're eating a whole lot of people you can say besides Alex and I think he kind of at times could get away from that he said realize hey I'm Alex backline I'm supposed to be able to just get down and knock that in all day and just not take the chance as the point right of course we're in the boot Jim yeah goodbye for the final Sookie's winning racks right – nothing easy to you know play the devil's advocate from up here but he's down there doing the business under the heat well I'm glad it's part of our job description and people want to see it in writing we'll find something far but one thing about Alex so usually under pressure his decisions are really solid along with execution now plant without the glasses we started the tournament with the glasses and today I believe with the glasses funny enough he played a couple shots without the glasses against the younger Co and then went over and got them for a couple other shots so the commitments not there you know yeah you had to talked about it spent some time around Alex the last few months several months and sometimes he gets a hit develops a little bit of a headache still trying to get used to him so that may have played into as the day goes on a lot of movement on the one again now the cue ball fits just up the table anywhere he's got a pretty easy shot on the one and still a real makeable Bank on the one not three balls in on the break everything open so you've got to feel that this Bank might be the toughest shot he faces in rack three and he should just hit this with a high ball let the cue ball float just past the floor and lay in between the five six and ten somewhere in that vicinity makes the bank pretty easy today I don't think it's too much now but I tell you he's got a slow roll this a touch talked about this type of shot the other day Jam is out when you're trying to hold it you'll actually under hit it you're really baby it just you have a little more room with the cue ball didn't you think going forward generally and you're just better off putting a little extra on it just because you stay a little more solid with the role of the ball state nice and still on that usually when you've got a slow roll ball if there's any nerves that's when they can be exposed it's just one rail back out okay go home three rails so the six must go the other pocket is that right by the tent cuz he's well short with the cue ball if it doesn't it's a little on the 50-yard line if it does to either pocket you know I think the way he's played that he had to be playing it to the bottom left as our offer overhead camera shows but he's looking to see if the six goes by the ten but it does that maybe option B I'm sure he can run the cue ball Harry's gonna have to draw this underneath and if it's a funny shot cuz if you get a lot on it you draw – well you're a little longer on the eight you're shooting it by the side pocket and he had a pretty sweet with inside English well that tells you the level of comfort very simply all by virtue of a great break from Toro there it's going to secure them the third rack effectively just down the one break so Alex will break in the next Jeremy how does he scores around the doors look oh you can see our TV table and then bistra by Chanel eating Mario he 5 2 3 actually Chris smelling Coco's leading one nothing Lechner and steyr are tied at one apiece with tyler star at the table Kazakh says Joe feeler wanted nothing Kevin Chang Lowe with LowE leading by one nothing skorsky is leading ignacio two two two two zero and Dennis great I guess we've lost the nails and the Bluesmobile that'd be a no Shana my excuse me yeah Alvin oh I lost two nails and they're tied at one apiece and Kazak has lost to Ralph's ookay well you'll see the Kaiser of lost 16 as well as Niels the younger co and all these match winners these eight o'clock draws I'll go through to the knockout stages the races move to ten miles like it's similar to the first track he's gonna have to play safe here I'm for making the one ball thank you got to where he can bank it three reels by the 10th and still get long past the four and five may have to cut it a hair though which is okay because you may want to bump the ate a little bit anyways right here on this shot so I think he's banking it around the table trying to kill the cue ball right behind the eight yeah and and like I said I think he might bump it just a little bit that way you can cut the three did so he doesn't catch the four I don't think the tens the problem before you want to make sure you don't catch that ball they did a nice job that wasn't easy now some four to four and a half feet away to throw both balls while going into the eighth did real well I like the one trail kick across just next to the five I think a lot of times you want to kick two rails it gives you a better feeling I understand that kind of the same path the three took away whenever Alex shot his shot hits inside it though he can flick the three and go in the pocket and just new felt I just don't feel good as well about that shot on new felt as I do just one rail cross but again there's already been quite an exhibition of very good first-class safety play in this match only in the fourth rack and some good shot making that a very high standard and you've seen all aspects of the game and we've seen guys break the balls perfectly three or four games in a row and then I have a dry break so we've got a lot of variety I think which is always both well for the the tournament for the spectators and fans and also us in the booth good about Alex as far as believe he lost that last match eight to six but he was trailing early and fought back showed a lot of class doing so so that bode well for him going right into this next match hey let me keep that boat that I played the last half of my last loss so far has been pretty spot-on didn't hurt and dutching that ate out a little bit either we just stopped there to hold a nice angle to come across from eight to the nine come all the way down if you want but really on this type of table where it's not super easy pockets but very playable pockets I don't worry about coming that far down here I want to hold my angle there he could have used a little more just because alex is a little bit shorter gentleman but he's so good with the bridge and the extension but he did get a hair thinner than he wanted alex is the lone Canadian left and John Mora got beat it might have been Hill Hill Tyler steyr might have beaten John he sure did but alex is carrying the maple leaf as he does so often and proudly I know y'all have funny but another hall-of-famer also for for Canada yeah it'll be I think that's this week isn't it he's gonna be inducted yeah BC a Hall of Fame sure the ceremony is this week though well you might be right I know as Larry chose is up the road a pretty special moment so well deserved Alex will pop in to tower club when he's in Toronto but he his home club is a venue called the spot owned by a good buddy of ours Marco Marco Lou and a very good friend of Alex's and I mean he's so very supportive of the game I'll tell you when alex is but it any club alex is in but then about 15 minutes everybody in the club knows he's in the club that's sort of personality Jim Jim referring to the pool clubs up there again yeah yeah the club kind of made the disco or whatever I call it yeah he can dance all the nine balls are gonna trickle in what's up looks like it yeah thanks Jeremy the pool clubs that's right okay another situation where he could could go offensive it looks like a little bit of a bank you got a stiff in but the twos in here it could draw over four position that's a little off but I'll tell you it's hard for me to pass on this cut shot usually yeah this is just how you feel at the moment you're playing the shot really yeah the safety is not tough cut shot little tougher but again you always try to when you get a chance he's looking at and he's gonna go for the cut shot well the only thing that I think was slowing him down to begin with is a am i coming across into a seven what am I doing with the cue ball cuz you don't want to hit it just float this in you want to put a little pace on it so maybe back and forth maybe going to the seven with the cue ball oh he floated it so pretty nervy I'll tell ya a nice shot he's gonna have to draw this one out with a lot of left hand spin come between the six and the ten and this one you have to create the angle a little bit to make sure you're not coming tight into the six so this one I may head to where I feel like I'm not hitting it hard enough to scratch because this could open up towards a scratch angle to Rails okay nohe that's the problem now you hit the six he's got a shot he's got a little bit of an alley or he could put some inside English but you really had to let that that angle open up there to get past that six ball didn't quite create the angle did he he didn't force it enough just over drew it it was as much of a stunned draw with the left hand spin and just let the spin take the cue ball around again you know these are shots that the pros play it's a second nature with them and you know the most part they make it look pretty easy you know this is as much a pressure matchup as these guys have faced in this tournament this is I'm gonna make sure you deliver that cue nice and straight through the white now anytime you're elevating never easy really out he's played pretty solid karaoke Oishi missed the safety in the opening game where Alex made a really nice shot on the one who got control of the table but he's not when he's played poorly and he's made a lot of tough shots just where we'll be getting a second game here cut cutting that lead to one at three to two three two it is Peggy Lyon will come out of a seat to break in the next wreck there because I can see it from here Tyler started now at three two one mama Lightner fill her up to nothing on kazakh s– Kevin Chang up to one on low stellar ski up 3-0 Ignacio Dennis grape up two to one on Alban ocean to see our match here booster Bosh ahead of Mario he now six to four and Chris smelling shelling coping e30 then keep all passed over to Peggy line and the newly inducted Hall of Fame member will try and take racks six apart I thought he made one he did just to keep off it seems like there's been a number of times he's been faced with a very difficult shot that really doesn't afford any aggressive options it's just trying to buy yourself a chance for a better safety well maybe the safety might come here on the one this time and will the choose an awful position at least at first glance it was just maybe with ball in handy and get it in the side but and how do you even play safe safety oh he's he pushing out okay he's not taking any chances on this one ball just as he that's how much he dislikes this open one ball and that's not just because of where the Tuesday I just felt like he could knock the one on the side he'd go off the seven in ten and maybe trap himself on the two to where he's got way the worst of it yeah I was going for this is the two playable on the side otherwise you'd play the cue ball behind the four and just let the one go to the right to the upper rail and then down a little bit just float the cue ball behind for I believe but I still pretty good about this going and he must've felt like he could make that make the two from there Jim well it's Kanak this one into the corner if that 2 is available he'll be able to slide that white over towards him hey even going to the three even come one rail crossing to to the three with a little high right spin he shoots the one in the corner yeah with a Japanese player attacking the one that too has to be available otherwise what was the value and going up to one yeah exactly he's going at the one on the corner types of shots I don't like makes the ball but a little thick so that he's going after the two on the side well the first real mistake from Peggy lion it's still a long ways from being easy though for quarter by ah she again he must him and Alex both feel like the two goes in the side so if he could float right towards the four one rail got a little thick so now I probably laid cue ball down behind the floor I'm guessing but this is a dangerous little touchy shot and always offers the jump shot to these guys see look I think he is well looks like the cue ball will hit that point a little bit of guesswork exactly where the cue ball is gonna go yeah totally agree with that Jim you still thinking about that missed one well what a shot I gotta believe he knew it was carrying back into the three-ball because he was he he almost looked at it like this was worth shooting at well you need to pinch a rack from Peggy lion with Peggy lines break and this is his opportunity and if he's got to stay above it he's gonna have a little bit of a touchy shot meaning if you can't go down below the seven a little he's got a shoot from above the seven he's gonna have a shot that requires a little speed control coming down to the eight I got a little fuller I'm not sure that's gonna help him a whole lot I can't go one rail so he's got to come two rails so he's gonna get it to cut up add some force into the cue ball so he's worried about the overhead cuz he doesn't want to land a little long on the eight is he trying to go one rail I'd love to go one rope I was him here but I don't think that's offered I think he's got to come too no he did come one with a soft second rail like that that's a lot easier way to play that shot if you can was he impressed so far here Jim say he's made all the tougher I mean alex has made a couple tough ones too but he's made some tough shots in this match there's a lot at stake both players know it now chip in ten ball tire score three games a piece and kitabayashi will be breaking the game number seven yeah that was no mean feat getting out there one mistake from Peggy lime was capitalized on but a very high standard few more people have made their way into the CSI arena Jeremy more empty seats than bodies and this match started but it actually was very quick and unannounced so I think now that people have realized who's here there they're filtering in slowly we do have the BCA Nationals going on all around 2:00 and 2,000 players here I've been told oh yeah I would say any thousands actually I'm not sure what the exact number is but the team's just arrived yesterday some team events are going on many divisions it's long days out here for them as well so not probably getting some rest some of them you know but it is pretty full on the stands but we've had some really nice crowds every day and evening it's free come down a wat get a chance to see some of these stars that you only ever see on television or on YouTube see him in person and I'm 6ba gonna continue be close I think he's a little snug again three balls off the break haven't seen an illegal break in this event this year oh it's in ball as we really have to kind of lift the rack again the twos kind of away from the one if you could see clearly at the one thing you just kind of try and partially jump it with a flat cue ball triangle one row cross for the two I don't think you'll see him hit down on this ball that much and he's aiming low I think he'll actually hit a bit higher than that yeah at the six yeah I didn't understand that shot it looked like he was trying to make it make it kind of hit it firm but make it throw in a little more I didn't understand that one exactly the calyx is smiling not sure that the referees not really a referee is such as kind of an official on sight but if they need a referee he's here overseeing the match not gonna be called on unless he's asked to come and oversee a shot Thank You lion calling first extension each player allowed a 40 second extension I believe the eight plays easily to a combo I'm not faulting that gym but I was just thinking right before he shot it I mean if the eight goes so easy and you had ball in hand on the one I'm not sure why I did just play position on the two to get to the three and leave the eight you know I'm just I don't I just didn't see the purpose about it at first well the speed that he played that shot me ain't no Saints just gotta roll up to this town yeah but if like that that opens something up makes sense to play the combo but I just didn't see it there yeah just a little carelessness you don't often see that from Alex I would take a chance in coming all the way down for the 6-3 myself here I believe not just behind the four I think this take a chance if it allows it if the shot allows it I mean yeah that's what I would have done right there you got to have good speed either one and you have two balls to get behind and if you don't have the speed correct behind the four you could easily give up the shot now he's given up a shot here but it's supposed to be a little tougher than this and this still isn't easy when we can get through to the three but I just can't see him attacking from here I'm just trying to lay the cue ball up in this lower right hand corner and use the ten as a safe doesn't want to go in off I don't think he'll be jumping at this one but he may take a good stab at it cross-eyed on a kick shot he will call the side here he's just having a look at it Oh missed the entire ball Wow yeah that shocks me yeah that was like I need plus out of a hundred maybe 95 out of 100 for the types of players unless you're really trying to hit a particular side of the ball yeah I'm I am shocked and he missed that well it was easily the scrappiest rack these guys have played in the end it's gonna go to the lion and he's going to be back for three in front and with a chance to increase that as he breaks in the next kind of felt like he might take a timeout that's what he's doing get you some outer scores though bestir Bosh now only had six five over Mario he Chris smelling still not on the board and down what looks about to be five nothing to coping he Lechner drills two to three against tyler star fill er up five nothing on kazakh well yeah that's another one where filler has been winning matches and Kazak has come straight off that loss tasuke and you lose a match to somebody like ralph sookay and you do feel like you went about four rounds with Tyson right yeah a little rope-a-dope say the least Kevin Chang with a 3-2 lead over lo just go where ski up 5-2 now on the ganache oh so Maui has gotten on the board and got a few on his side Dennis grave with a 3-2 lead over Alban ocean 13 world champions when this event started out in the 64 player field a number of players with multiple world titles we even had Earl Strickland playing Ralph sookay a second round match in the winner's bracket and probably as many titles on that table between those two is the other 11 combined right I talked about filler after that lossy suffered it just a hard got it beat twice our kid beat twice he was the reigning world nine ball champion a young player from Germany with the pool world of his feet and everybody marks his name in the draw Peggy Lyon places the cue ball settles in rack number eight nice to be happy to have survived that last rack because played a very careless shot for him look at the one pocket opens up almost straight in with the two very near and handy yeah this is a position of some promise and I think Alex recognizes that so instantly it's dig in and focus he's just gonna shove the cue ball a little bit for an old natural on the to to come up for the three on the side you'll want to get down here though he doesn't want to have to let the cue ball fall towards the eight with the five being over near that nine I think you'll want to go ahead get the cue ball all the way down to play the cue ball at able to get on the five is it gonna go yeah and that's it's a problem with the ten being there as well now he has to go around the eight and he has to hang what was going into the 10th somewhat a little bit fortunate maybe that there's a five nine combo that's pretty playable you may just go and let it go here and go into the back of the five with a key ball off of three rails there was that problem jamming I think he may have gotten away with it a bit I don't think the tin can you have the tendon even cover up to five Andy has a shot I'm gonna have to spin this one a little bit though yeah unless he wants to stay high for the cut it's kind of up to him he got the most out of staying howling cue ball but really nice nice control nine goes into the side he just checked that the one thing about this game is at first you have so much talent you don't have hardly any worries once you start learning the game you start to realize all these things they started make you start worrying and it can really affect your the physical side of the game as well and cool you know as well as I do as snooker was the same way I'm sure yeah pool it was easy when you were young and you get older and all of a sudden you realize pulls a little bit like life and just when you think it gets easy yeah I've scratched off that shot before you look at it it's supposed to happen but but scrappy that rack but it got through it on a 5-3 lead well the Chinese Taipei players are just so tough and there's many of them but the cream of the crop is just really really some of the best in the world Chris smelling after losing to Chang now down six to nothing man coping me Tyler Starr still up three to two well we can give you some of the players that are gonna be making up the last 16 yo ha and Chua from the Philippines he's undefeated jinlun Chang also undefeated I've already told you about the Terminator Neal's flying and Jason Shaw will be joining Neal's droping Chong hoping Chung yep Ralph's ookay also through Masato Yoshii oka another Japanese star and lone American hopes resting with Billy Thorpe those are the eight undefeated players and all these matches that are taking place right now will be the 8th from the left-hand side of the draw to join those eight they'll be drawn into those eight races we'll go to 10 five matches tomorrow yeah starting at 10:00 a.m. in the morning the first match will be coming your way eight matches going on at 10:00 right and then we're gonna have each of the quarterfinals so for four matches in a row we'll just have one match that the arena itself no outer matches then aren't you submit finals on Friday and our final product exactly right that's the way the the schedulers have seen it okay it's a little hard to tell from the overhead but I think he can go by the five with some top English here certainly wants to and he could the thing here is going to put a little speed on it cuz you can afford a little bump on the five I think it's harder to just go over and back punching the ball than it is to go with top English okay you don't want this to check up he's moving it across the top of the five and back over below the 10 get there yeah that's what I would have been worried about and I think he could have followed his ball right there maybe a hitch the five pretty easily maybe just gone right by it for a little cut shot on the floor well certainly he's not gonna be thrilled with how that one unfolded this is gonna be just a safety now that's that's the longest reach I've seen on a pool table in a long time must really dislike the bridge did real well now Alex just gonna be on the fence do I kick hard and try and take a chance or do I kick soft and let's see if I get it a better kick shot on the next one it's kind of what you're thinking here you kicks off you're not gonna snip her kidding kidding now is she but hope maybe he gives you a little something better to work with or maybe called the six up in the corner and you take a rip at it he's trying to tie some well he's kind of going with your theory that some better it's yeah it's not gonna be his tough or at least something that he can kick at with some modicum of control yeah this is what you may have been talking about it's still gonna be awfully touchy getting in there he has to spend the cue ball a little bit if he's gonna go one rail the rep should be right on top of this I would think yeah but so let me ask you a question here Jeremy I mean if he hits it yeah I was gonna say is there any value and hitting the four no maybe not but he's on two fouls that's one one part of it again now with the 10th kind of getting there it'll play something up I mean you figure Alex still to be able to kick and hit the four most likely no matter where how he puts it but no I can't see him doing him doing it any different than he just did just same sort of shot and get the cue ball up near the corner I mean Alex would be kicking at it but I suppose the way this is all unfolded it's not gonna be a lot different than the original four six when Alex tied it up to begin with yeah and if he runs all the way over he's got a chance of selling out open up see like right here can you get the six in there and he get the cue ball in there I think you can maybe not did he if he froze the four that's important as far as what good is gonna happen now has he been told he's on two fouls good hit [Applause] Korra bye ashie tapping the table in acknowledgement of a great shot from Peggy Lyon there but still the initiative this Rack stands the Japanese player and that's a little light they're still left it a little touchy I mean you'd like to thank Alex and use the 610 pretty easily and I think kurebayashi just dropped his chalk in the pocket – he's reaching in the side pocket to grab the truck if he didn't come up with anything sure then it goes away quickly Wow pretty nice even though he's lifted over the side which offers a little better chance for his opponent but still just pretty pretty nice to just make sure you get the smoker hit the hook well if nothing else alex has played himself into favor in this RAC gave a couple intentional fouls away what a bad roll that was a great shot Wow kitabayashi wondering what he's got to do not in love with any ticket just gonna probably come to the bottom rail one really good thing about cross corner is it if he does having to make it a little bit better chance to get position on the six RAK that looked like alex was always just fighting to stay alive all of a sudden looks like it's gonna be six three well I'm not sure anybody in the room knows situational pool better than Alex bagel I like that whole process that we had right there in the middle of the rack where he tied that nine if that's not the first time he had done something like that looked like it to me that he had a little bit of a game plan if it and he still needed a little bit of fortune for it to work out but yeah he had a little thought process there tied those three balls up now chip in on the side to go to 63 and breaking point yeah matches is in his control now especially if he puts a good break in the next Easter wash-up 7-5 it's shooting it is Mario he's got a combination on the side didn't want to make him both of the mid there's a nice position to move on to the final 16 they just got one shot left on the three-ball a little bit of a testers got to put a little inside maybe to get by the nine guys solid though Jim oh yeah from the Netherlands zero they're all solid in that part of the world they've got they had too many good players to learn from short actually caught the three a little thick on to the pocket consequently I'm not sure if you can cut the five in or not we'll get back to you there but Alex beg line now in game 10 the 6-3 lead to break the balls I don't see much it just of yet looks like the three got pretty tied up at the twos there whoever gets that first shot may be able to open the 3:10 coming off the two ball somehow this is the hardest part of the rack right here yeah he's been with the wrong boys she moved the three I believe the threes the one on the rack now he's gonna have to move the rack as well a bit of a Rubik's Cube it I could just see that time plate flicking that little implement that he used to marked it the way whoops some strange things happen actually with referees moving the balls with the template well I'll tell you what happened in professional soccer I'm not gonna mention any names but the referees obviously they're wearing the gloves and he was spotting the pink and he was carrying the pink over the Reds the triangle Reds dropped the pink right in the middle of the Reds yes on live TV and you want to be a ref okay he went for the bank don't blame him a bit of a two-way he thought touchy here now that nines got everything on the kick don't thinking get between the four nine and bend the ball back how's he gonna kick can he get through there Jim I mean two real kick to the bottom round looks like the nines got him cut off well I don't think so Jeremy he's looking at it and he's he's targeting that spot he's going between the three nine would spin okay I thought I was looking at the four nine is the problem I I didn't think he could go between the four times well responded Ashley and then at 3:10 in the middle pretty important yeah that's the the nine one there you'd certainly just don't want to row into it you probably have to anyways he couldn't maybe played heavy on it gotten up for the three in the upper right-hand corner like but that's a tough task he's got the natural angle here now he's gonna take the cue ball into the three and just trusting the luck a little bit here yeah he's gonna hit it to where they don't open you know they don't blast all over the place they're just gonna open probably somewhat mildly you would think anyways you don't think he's gonna hit that hard a lot of bad things can happen when you hit it hard I really like the speed control there Jim and each have an angle on that for to get up for the 5:00 to gonna be just as well served to just follow through with this Jeremy wouldn't you think just to where he's holding his q-tip now I think so but if he does that he's got his exact the key ball back and forth for the 20 shoots of 4 to the 5 he could draw behind him and less the tens in the way hit roll to the backside of the four with a little low right spin screw the cue ball back but the 10 must have a chance of getting contacted by doing that so he's gonna go forward he tried to get a lot out of it the thing is you have to recognize you're gonna have angle anyways so another six inches to the right is no big deal it's gonna be extreme either way so don't risk the three-ball trying to get just that much better on something you're gonna be a little severe on anyways because you could always see he was gonna have to play the cue ball back and forth from the four of the five so like I said another six inches to the right is not that big of a deal see how all the timing is for Alex right now he's not even gonna fool with that back and forth just because it feels like the five eighths a pretty easy shot are you did go back and forth I see and the six is available to the corner the side just depends how alex wants to go through this here he sees the pattern in his mind and wants to strike while the iron's hot let Cora bye ashie think about that missed three very well the Beast Abbas is our first through to the final 16 from the one loss cent now this is a little bit of a mistake quite possibly Jim yeah no reason to fall on that funny angle which is you got to force it to get back over to the easy side of the eight or you're falling towards the short side I'm sure what he's doing exactly let the stroke out a little bit you could see that made this shot a lot tougher Ronnie hit that one awful good all things considered should have had to play it that way but talked about it all the time it football is a game of inches what is pool playing card with just changes this shot so easily well this will be four in a row 7:3 the lead now on the hill and kurebayashi can afford no more mistakes and he'll be breaking in the next there was again Easter Passover Marioni but some nearing the finish line doping ge62 or rebelling Kevin Chang 5/3 / low Gregg was still one gate lead at four three over Oh Sean Scott skorsky of five four of ignacio nacho' making a comeback I believe it was for nothing and five to one and that match Tyler star I had four to two over Lechner who's our other match their filler of 72 over kazakh yeah he's on the hill Josh looking for the double crown that's happened a few times little hit him a little off so that's when you miss him hit there he was breaking from his right and hit the one ball a little more extreme on the left and that's when those target balls tend to be a little long and a little wide it's a big shot for Alex just to roll it in and accept a little distance on the 2 ball if you can get those two down he has to do much more and there's some work obviously just keep this one simple get the run started here you're so good the rail out take a little shot on the to get elevated over the 7 that's pretty nice again that world title is going to elute s vb this this time around disappointing it to me disappointing to a lot of americans that really picked gene to be in the later stages of this event at the worst okay just get the position on that for as quick as possible because he kind of knows as well as we do that's the shot to get him through this Rack get on to the final 16 yeah the nines available to the same corner just shot the for this this shouldn't be long from the 7 to the eighth if you can get almost straight on the 8 like kurebayashi senses what we do his days in the predator 10 ball championship for 2019 it could be coming to a close Josh Miller champion moves on Sam breaking the cues down over there yeah nice angle on the seven to get that cue ball up to the eight well this has been a good performance from Alex after a hard-fought match they was at the wrong end of to come back out here and put in a performance like this again we've always known the type of character he possesses and the ability that's there we expect so much from these players you forget they're human some kind of performance from the line there and he is through to the knockout stages it'll be 16 that'll make it up but the line is through and play will commence tomorrow at 10 a.m. Jeremy thank you very much a pleasure as always thank you Jim we'll see you tomorrow and folks we're looking forward to seeing all of you tomorrow too from all of us here in Vegas good night [Applause] [Applause] the idea of Revo started when I first came to Florida in 1997 and I loved what the chef did work you did for the player and I realized well there's technology out there that we have not explored yet I really wanted to seek use design for people for each player rather than one shaft feasible we're chipping that this year we're making the first or our first to that whole custom revolt 20 years now you'll be looking for a wooden shaft you'll go the way of those you know the Steamies have tennis racquets golf clubs none of those products have made out of wooden longer but they all were at one time just the way it's gonna be you know if if you had a wooden shaft and you had a carbon fiber shell and nobody saw either which one would you pick when we play pool we use every side of the tip all around so that consistency is very very important straightness is more critical than any other game out there then you add accuracy flexibility stiffness when you talk about nodes pivot point I mean it is you need to really understand you need to master the game if we design every single shaft based on what the player needs to improve his game we want people to have the ability to use whatever joint they have in their butt and the Revo fits it we can give them a white ball plate a black ball plate any kind of material they want it made it up we can make if you give them any kind of a tip and we could make the weight different heavier lighter so for example if they wanted three and a half ounce and they wanted a certain tip the certain fall plate and then one of the five 1618 thread that's all doable it's a level of customization that others haven't seen before design the different options not only these players not only with our engineers led by Paul but also with our coaches our pros were part of the process in the last two years why not walk through our manufacturing walk through our offices with our design team and I see as much passion in them as anything is possible that's what we want to bring to the fans around the world the ability to help you play one ball to those better than your actual knowledge being able to win more games and more matches and therefore have more fun each survivor experience so Revo sure what we've done when you look at the process it's mind-blowing what would you so I've always believed that if you want to make the operation on the process that goes into building something for food so you don't have to check it but that said we have all those as many as I could figure out and we still have over 30 inspection points that every single shaft gets done our standards are much higher than wooden shaft now we can put those standards in for wood wouldn't moons and breezy changes you have to build that tolerance idea wouldn't chef there's no luck of the Revo it's perfectly the most accurate chef dozen Who are these announcers? Both are good but that American is very instructive.

    To the COMMENTATORS:

They pronounce the name "Bijsterbosch" totally wrong. Let me explain how to pronounce.

It does not pronounce -> Beasterbosj

It is pronounced as -> Beysterboss

Like saying HEY, say BEY. Instead. And Bosch is pronounced as boss.

    Hope this helps 🙂

Is there a reason why they are not putting the two and the three ball in the bottom corners when they are racking ???
