tournament presented by GM marina technology and we are about to get on the water with the pro wakeskate final round of action we've got the top four qualified riders from yesterday semi final round getting ready to battle it out here on the water the most progressive young athletes from all around the world are here with us today on Robin Lake we're going to start things up with the wakeskate final we've got four riders including the defending and Masters champion and other past masters champion – the young rookies well not rookies but to the young guns making it into this final round of action here today and I'm looking forward to watching this first guy rip it up family Nautique owners themselves they have that 210 and the g20 one back there placed down in a WP V West Palm Beach Florida doing it out there guys forum awake skates give it up for this man don't want it on Wii Coco man see here old Jojo Mendez on the water right now now compared to the week floor division here these wastegate athletes riding boards strapless no boots no bindings there's no velcro or glue these their shoes are not attached to their boards it's just a grip of foam maybe a c-dac top on there and of course just a regular old pair of skateboard shoes or skate shoes or tennis shoes these guys are doing all kinds of stuff probably not going to be seeing any upside down errs in it this division but you're gonna be seeing 180s 360s so quite possibly 540 spins the board is going to be getting loose from those feet shove-its big spins all kinds of funky stuff and you never know this guy coco mendez known as one of the best flip trickers in the entire world with a style so comparable to the on-the-ground skateboarding we'll see what he can do right here going to feel out the week behind the super aranaut eeek g23 four-time wakeboard boat of the year there's a hillside frontside 360 back over on the toes from Coco toe side shoved to Indy getting that board loose from his feet showing you guys it's not attached back over there's a backside 360 spinning his body in an unnatural rotation one full revolution back on the toes into the frontside 360 off the toe side edge everything looked perfect right there but somehow Coco coming off the front of the board and going down go ahead and give it up for Coco Mendez everybody one song no worries we're going to pick him back up get him back on the water we're gonna give him another shot here because just like wakeboarding and away skating these riders are going to get the pickup in fact if they go down they're going to get to pick ups out there I want to thank you guys right here the folks in the crowd who stuck around to watch some of the most progressive athletes much respect to all of you people right here and thanks to you guys on this side as well for the rest of the folks you had to go get the sail on the elephant ears sorry Paulo all but you guys are going to be seeing some amazing stuff from the most incredible athlete if you don't know anything about waist caning I'll tell you what I grew up as a trick skier trick skiing was the hardest aspect and toed water sports to learn with tens of thousands of Falls to learn you know a lot of those tricks wage skating this board is not attached to your feet and these guys are hitting the same ways that these wakeboarders are you are looking at some of the most talented young riders in the world brought to you by the world wake Association of wwa the official the number one in wake sports and total water sports packet at koko mendez going wake to wake shove it right there all the board doing a full 180 his body staying regular and unfortunately Koko not able to ride away from that one that's going to be fall number two but he's going to get the opportunity guys to catch his breath stand back up and come back through for his second pass of action the 18-year old out of West Palm Beach Florida comes from a family of towed water sports enthusiasts with a venezuelan background of course his mom and dad would love to get out there behind there to chandu a little bit of skin his brother was a decorated junior pro and now collegiate wakeboard athlete his sister a national wakeboard champion the girls division as well so a big shout out to the entire mendes a family watching us down there in Florida we thank you guys for doing it for being a part and of course these guys not keek owners q naught t s– at home one in the lake behind their house another one the g20 one that they're going to be traveling around with Koko course as I mentioned before we out there and respected by the wake skate community known as a guy who's got the best flip tricks the most legit flip tricks in the game definitely super high risk high reward and Coco wants nothing more than to earn himself a spot on the podium here today he had a great start to pass number one wanting to see if he can do it in two past number two as that wake shapes out Koko Mendes taking a big cut out and he's going to take that heel side edge back over and into the wake guys through a little roughed up right there biggle their big old poke in a tail grab on that one patch in on the toes toe side waist awake jump he's feel guys he's got something big in mind right here up and into that wait guys there it is the weight to weight shop shown you that board is not connected to his feedback on the toast toe side front side one-eighty and unfortunately Coco cane a little ahead of himself and ends up going down a great effort will it be enough he's got some points up on the board no doubt about that fact jack give it up for the one and only Coco mantastic all right well just to get the text messages starting to get Fiat notes on Facebook from all the folks out there big shout out to you Jim Tyler's Kevin Michael and in the WSI a the water sports industry association we got all of those guys letting my talk in the crew washing us live through webcast right now two men look at me I'm up here alone I need your back brother Spencer Williams watching live through a webcast folks we are back here loving to have loving have all of these wastegate athletes a part of this year's a masters of course the waste gating division is the newest discipline out here at the master they made their debut about six years ago and continuing to progress year after year after year we're going to keep it going guys and getting ready to join me here in just a moment up in the microphone the legendary Sean Murray we're going to bring him on in a few moments but first things first we're going to bring that super air Naik ji at 23 back down at da side now guys the wakeboard portion of this event of course presented by the a world wig sanctioned by the world wig Association the wwa guys the world WIC Association since 1989 has been not just pushing the sport of wakeboarding but toed water sports in general guys putting wakeboarding away skating wake surfing in front of more eyes than anybody else in the world and we appreciate them make sure you check out the new ride line app on your smart phones check that out folks but right now check this out come to us from Sanger California joining for elevated clothing tally waking water and a liquid force took second place the world championships in 2016 third place at nationals and the Masters this is Austin [Applause] [Applause] Oh guys will join me up here the announcers tower the living legend himself the house of style Nautique hyper light athletes Sean Murray Sean good afternoon to you good afternoon Dano always happen to be up here with you we get a great view of some of the best tone water sports action we will ever get to see we've got a pretty big finals coming at you between the wake skating women's and men's wakeboarding so let's keep our eyes alive and Austin Poulter out getting a little jiggy with it before his run start as he has an out of course fall well that's perfect because that gives us an opportunity to send a shout out to Steve SRAM the entire SRAM of family their loss to us down there in Stuart Florida and Mack miss you out here this year but I great to have you guys watching us now as Austin Poulter Rockets ready to come back down the course here in just a moment looking at his scores over the last couple of years Austin is a guy who has been so close to the top he has almost been right there but looking to try to earn himself a place at the top of the podium which sets Austin's riding apart from the rest of the riders here is well he never writes water tells anybody what foot forward he is you don't know if he's left or right foot forward and he's the guy who goes out then he's going to perform every trick regular just as good as he does and switch or vice versa definitely doesn't make it easier for announcer to up to call those out are you in for the judges but that is what has helped set him in this huge in this high position within the world of waste gating whether it's behind a naughty quo whether it's behind a winch under a cable Austin can ride away skate and put down the trick the question is can he do it here in this Masters final he found himself in this position last year let's see what he can do here today starting off with a big air poke switching that board around coming in half cab nose grab 180 all right Austin moving into trick number three there's the backside 180 that one gave a little bit of trouble yesterday but super locked into it today there's that switch 360 hopping back around to his stronger foot forward there's that right before you side backside 360 cutting in left foot for it I believe that switch and the big spin wake to wake Danno that was a big trick and that was him proving he is not attached to that board a big shout out to my main man Brad Ross back out in Wisconsin a long time masters enthusiast and a long-distance jumper yeah Austin did go down in the back of the past but at the same time he was doing tricks off the dock you guys should have been doing tricks off that riser should have waited the Masters is just another day for Austin he's out here I'm buying the boat it's Sunday fun day for Austin Bruceton big heel side nose grab front side one-eighty back to regular position on the toes toe side shoved Indy right there and ends up going down guys we're gonna give him a little love out there make some noise for Austin Poulter Ock and now let's bring it back to instant replay and see what goes down because that nose grab 180 that was too sweet alright so well I guess the instant replay is on lunch break right now so we're not going to get the instant replay of that crash but we can talk a little bit about it he did that amazing nose graft frontside 180 boos did huge the thing that's so incredible and Shawn you can touch on this those landings that these guys take sometimes you come down in the air on that wick that you're not strapped in and how many times we see these guys just get ejected off the front of those boards 100% what's interesting is the technology that has changed on the wake skate over the last 10 years we talked a little bit about it yesterday and how they evolved from smaller wake boards and eventually these guys started realizing they actually wanted the board to be heavy rather than like the wakeboard at which we want to be light these guys boards way sometimes more than our wake boards do which are considerably bigger and we have bindings on our boards because they want that forward to keep moving through the air with them so rather than getting caught in the wind when he does a trick like this toeside shoved to Indy the board stays with them taking that board around while his body stays straight here he goes another wake to wake shove singing it with his feet that's going to finish off his run for mr. Austin Poulter och alright we're good we're going to turn him around and bring him back through these riders each get a wild card in there run that's one trick back to the doc and I remember the wild card from the early days of wakeboarding it's great to see us kind of bringing it back I always liked it's worth the Masters so bring back a little bit of the tradition you know Danno I did throw a little bit of a challenge out of my social media a couple days ago on whoever came back to the dock with the best old-school trick the best throwback trick I got five bucks cold hard cash on it that's some big money out there all right well Austin pull-truckin have set things up here for one last trick looking for the love from the beach as he sets up for one more maneuver toe side edge into the wake going to toe side big shiny right there we're right back behind the boat loses balance goes bad guys dude up for it make some noise for Austin vulture all right don't guys through wetland masters water-ski calm that is the webcast for those of you watching us make sure you take that link copy it paste it as your Facebook's that's your Twitter status let folks around the world know that we are live right now kicking off with the wastegate final winds wakeboard final pro man wakeboard finals and from there we cap our day off with pro women and pro men jump finals how about a big shout out to Kobe France and the boys down there in Orlando Florida checking us out live through webcast appreciate those guys for watching us here this is uh this has been an amazing day so far in all of the amateurs and I'm sorry and all the the water-ski divisions I'm getting some funny text messages hey guys you're going to send us messages make sure you put your name in the in the message here Shawn's gonna so Shawn can respond myself I can respond back to you but now it's time to get on to it our next rider ladies and gentlemen he is recognized worldwide most winningest waist care of all time on many time u.s. national and world champion past masters champion this is Reed [Applause] [Applause] murder you know he's been here before he's at the top of his game he's been on the top of his game today number one toad water sports runs through this guy's a blood his family the world wakeboard Center just outside of Clermont Florida his older brother Trevor has been one of the greats in wakeboarding a great great rider from the late 9th through the 2000 of course his parents they were great water skiers and show skiers through the seventies and the eighties and they're keeping the tradition alive right here with Reid Rehan soms got from the most progressive tricks of any time week skater of the year doing it veronik sand rocks dollar energy let's see what he's got here for us this afternoon starting with a nose grab frontside 360 hopping the board around Reid cutting in switch stance there's a switch 3 coming up a little short reel unlike Reid but he still is not done what we've got here is the opportunity to get back into his run and get going trying to lay some tricks down before that pass is done so the boats can have plenty of time to get back up to speed and we're going to watch this instant replay on this switch 3 maybe he didn't lay enough edge and see if he made it all the way across he did come up short maybe just letting the board suck up a little bit too much obviously upset with that we've seen Reid land on top of the second wake and still make it he's got a lot of skill on the water quite the Waterman and recently started competing also on a surfer that's right I was out there competing one of those last stops Matt wake surf tour and Rita Reed really pushing it he just loves to be on the water really doesn't matter now I remembered all the way back it must have been 2009 the wwa the world wakeboard Association World Championships where Reed Hansen finished off his world championship run and then somewhere near the end of it just decided to bomb out and barefoot through the course it was white calf and out we got some scores posted 60 points for Koko Mendes 80 points for Austin pole truck so your current leader Austin polls and let's see what rehan singh has in store for us you went down on that switch 360 he's going to cut back in a regular hillside s this is the backside that's an unnaturally spun 360 degrees spin right here switch stance back the weight Shawn revisiting that frontside three cent is not a problem I'm going to get one more trick in this one is going to be in course there's that wake to wake shove no grab catching it with his feet solid finish for Reed Hansen Danno I think he's feeling pretty good about that he finished off with that shove after two back-to-back threes well-read Hansen really put it on out there you know he's a guy you know the beautiful thing about the wastegate division is even if these guys have a fall they do get that one extra pick up compared to the rest of the game but these guys are normally able to squeeze in more tricks on a wave scape than you can on a wakeboard through their run toe side approach in his past year going toe side a big shove it to Indy and then guys he's going to bring it in from the opposite side toe side in front side approach frontside 360 right there Shawn not an easy trick to land super buttery smooth landing on that front side three going to the toe side backside 180 one of the hardest directions to spin especially on a wake skate and he's cutting in on his left before that is switch right there just going out the back for some reason losing the board I don't know if he was wanted to do a shove in there Danno but taking a fall a little bit earlier than he wanted to for sure and that's the end of Reed Hansen's second pass all right well not too shouty right there Reed getting some big points up on the board a little bit of a different run than what we saw out of Austin Poulter off but looking to hopefully take the lead they were going to bring that boat back around and it was after the three-quarter marker but I do believe and I'm not going to present sure on this I do believe he will get the pick up so he can come back through as long as you don't take that third fall they should get the pick up and come back through for a they should come back through and allow them to finish that exact I run for his wild card trick that's where you're going Danna and and read also capable of some big stuff but right here we're taking a look at that instant replay as he cuts in swich toeside obscene read not only do to switch to side three I've even seen him taking the switch switched oh five a forty in the past the guys got some of the most progressive it tricks in the book and we're going to get to see one more out of him here in just a few moments I wants to get not only capable of those 360 spins those 540 spins those shove it based maneuvers including those big spins and bigger spin maneuvers but he also has the flip tricks and I'm not talking about his body getting inverted but read can definitely flip that board around maneuver it around he's riding it out there on that rodents wakes gay a set up and as we get ready to bring him it back around what do you think we can expect to see out of Reed Hanson for this next one we're well-read knows that he's got to put something big together he did have to fall so that's obviously two tricks that he was not able to get into his run not to mention maybe some other tricks that would have allowed if the boat was continuing up to speed but what we're looking at here is one big opportunity and the thing is is Reed can pull off the biggest tricks that have been done on a wakeskate whether it's a backside five front side fives he's got multiple different 540 s so we'll kind of get an idea what he's going to do from how he cuts out this could be a toe side five would it be hops around it might be the backside five this looks like it could be the 540 or that is the big the big spin from the from the front side not quite landing of a ladies and gentlemen he can hear you one of the best in the sports ever ride awake take mr. Reed Hansen and all right well watching us live through webcast right now big shot if not teak team athlete the two-time u.s. national two-time feet on fire champion the original slot spinner himself Shawna Watson out there watching live hello Sean hope to have you back out you with at the Masters I remember my first Masters ever back around 2003 getting to hang out the likes of the pointless Posse Sean watching an aircraft and parks Bonifay man the all in good fun trouble we got into man it was always a good time but now it's time for this next member of the pointless Posse to shine on the water rocking the red bib indicating that he is the defending masters a champion guys from Orlando Florida doing it for Billabong and hyper light he is the 2000 and a 16 US national and world wakeskate champion overall naughty quake series wakeskate champion and two-time two-time and defending masters wick state champion this is Brian then on the wastegate since nearly the creation of the thing and brian has been competing at the top of the sport ever since dan oh it's great to see this guy on the water he travels the world to ride some of the most unique places if you guys ever want to spend a few minutes online Google Brian grub that's two B's at the end of grub and check out some of the places that he has ridden you know the crazy thing is if you were to take if you were to take you know half the field in this Pro wakeskate division and put them out there behind one of those not TQ hundred 234 miles now on a slalom ski I think these people would be pretty dang impressed with what they can do Brian Grubb was a boys national slalom champion is younger days competing with a lot of guys do you still see out here today grub you can still get deep into 35 off cold let's see what he can do on the wake skate here today he's gonna start things off going wake to wake right there get a little hung up but able to get his composure and ride back to going through some rough stuff right there that's a signature move Ford rub the toe side shoved to Indy he's been doing that for over a decade and a half back in heel side with Michele to Indy he's going to set himself back up in on the toe side s throw his horn around there's the wake to wake shove it his body stays regular the board does a full 180 back in Hillside approach hillside awake to eight shove it from Brian Grubb and then back on the toes for one more trick toe side Andy grab grubby looks like he was kind of rushing himself a little bit through that pass but still able to put down some big tricks yeah but you know what he wasn't rushing to the point where he looked like he was out of control he just didn't spend time waiting in between tricks that was a really solid run and more than half the tricks that he did his board got away from him and spun underneath him so so smart he knows how to read this course Murray coming back through these should be some more spin tricks let's see what he's got take it away boy frontside 360 for grub's he's coming in on the frontside approach there's that toe side frontside 360 he's on his way to a really solid second pass things are looking good for him backside 180 SEM landing deep keeping that board underneath him he's wrapping up one of the only guys to do this this toe side backside 180 he's pretty much almost got this one in the bag right now if he gets this last trick he might lock up this championship Danno just letting that thing go and he's and going down there at the end guys unfortunate Falls for drop but let's get back here to this instant replay toe side edge up and in at the wake get in the nose grab there's the toe side backside 180 gets that turns the board back around a regular heel side approach back at the wake let's see what he's got here to finish up this pass on and how it all went down as he cuts up and in there was we saw him land that trick yesterday it just seemed as if a gust came through and blew that board away you know that's what we're talking about earlier how those boards are heavier so that they don't get caught in the wind but sometimes it'll be a little gusty or that board just took a little bit too much heel flick and it sent it into the spin but you notice Danno they are picking him back up so that he can't finish his run but I'll tell you right now he's got some great runs just from past number one the amount of tricks that he got in without looking rushed is really going to put him in a good position because even with that fall he's still feeling pretty good about what he's got so you wonder is he going to step really far outside of his comfort zone on this last trick or is he going to try to play it safe not sure Dan oh well Robbie if you guys follow Brian grub on it that Instagram feed you'll see that he's been landing those wake to wake kickflips definitely one of those super high-risk high-reward tricks but knowing grew up this guy's a veteran he's a smart dude he's been a judge for the wakeboard division for so many years he knows what these judges are looking for as much as I'd like to see the wake to wake kicks what my guess would be that grub is probably going to go for something a little bit safer I don't know though the way you've got his feet position on that wake skate right now folks it's going to be big let's check this out he'll sign up roach into the wake up and over frontside waked awake big spin and unfortunately a little too much pressure on that handle ends up going down will it be enough to take home his third masters championship only time will tell so give it up make some noise for Brian for all watching this instant replay a handler gets a little bit high and so that board got a little far from him but really close on that wake to wake big spin that was a great performance by grub and run the grub one of the hardest workers in the game he's going to swim right back to shore he's going to get his towel he's going to dry off he's going to hop back into that boat and start judging for the wakeboard division as we wait for the scores guy look great showing from all four of these riders Coco Mendez Austin pulsar out Reed Hansen and a Brian Grubb in our women's wakeboard division down dockside prepped ready to go we're going to have them out here on the water in just a moment guys so Shawn overall impression what do you think of the wastegate division pretty impressive what these guys are doing because honestly not long ago if one shove waked awake was landed in a past that was impressive it was mostly straight airs maybe some 180s and maybe a 360 these guys are spinning threes every direction every approach as well as doing big spins that's where the body does the 180 and the board does it 360 so where these guys have taken the level of consistency is truly deserving to be in here at the Masters well absolutely and that's one of the things I love about the wake skate is you know wage gating is so it you know it's so new it's still even even though it's been around now for you know 15 17 almost 20 years these guys are still really building what the sport is I mean you see these guys going out winching you see the guys out there doing the to tower stuff the full cable stuff and then of course the what do you just see right here the big wake riding so many different aspects of it and it just really gives people like the ability to have the opportunity to get out there do it whatever they want out there on those wakes gates some big shots some of the great sponsors out here of course our friends over there at GM Marine engine technologies make sure you guys stop at their booth find out the latest and greatest from GM and PCM is while you're there grab yourself some free swag stuff we our customers and also get some some board signs we've got the rads the fads the pads all those new inflatables with that new technology that we've brought in to the mark couple years ago yeah and you guys have been winning some awards with that stuff as well so congratulations on that the crew from PTMs Murray you know you've got those inside your boat as well I'm talking about the those those beautiful HD prescription-grade lens mirrors giving you that 140 degree angle view of all the action behind the boat they're giving away three this is your last opportunity guys to go and sign up and eagle and master line they've got so many awesome new products and great technology there and best part about it we're at the Masters which means you guys have some awesome incentive and there it is some scores on the board and third place going to be read answer Austan post-rock taking number two and now you're three times three times three times Masters champion for the wastegate division give it up for Brian cross Congrats to Brian grubby trainee hard and just continuing the blend oh no it's amazing it's great seeing this guy just lay down a competition year after competition year and still doing well he's doing well he's winning jana and you know in a testament to his success for brian grove is you know not only as he can fix years old continuing to push the sport of wake skating but this dude is out he's at every weight or regional tournament he's out coaching he's teaching he's helping grow the sport gaining exposure you know a lot of guys on this level would straight-up stay home and train show up for contests Brian grub this guy does it for the love of the sport you know I go slow skiing with Brian Grubb literally at least once or twice a month and if you don't believe me you guys can go ask Thomas De Gasperi because we go over and ski with Thomas all the time and the fact that he's such a ensues iasts of the sport not only is he a champion on the water he's a champion off the water and definitely an inspirational guy in you know any total water sports athletes you know should look at what Grubb does and at least try to get somewhere in that path and follow yeah it's always great to have grub around been with him on Team Hyperlite for out know how many years and like you said this guy will go from competing on the wakeskate to give him back to the sport by judging the wakeboard he has spent a lot of time and knows the nuances of what is difficult what looks good and and definitely one of the high-end judges that we like to have out there he also landed a flip for his third try on a trick ski a couple of weeks ago and he hadn't tricked skied in ten years and that was the last time he trick skied with me so the guy is in my opinion he's probably well the most talented on water superstars I know Brian grew up I obviously can tell I'm a huge girl fan I travel with this guy travel all the way to Manila with him and I still ask for his autograph okay we're going to get back at it here from the wastegate we're going to transition over into the wakeboard a final four ladies here battling it out and really excited for this first lady hitting the water she is a many many many time and all time Mexican national wakeboard champion a past a junior an amateur world wakeboard champion with the WWE in 2016 part of the wakeboard world series she took the second place at the Punta Cana Pro she took a first place finish in 2015 at the Pan American Games she's a past many time rock star energy trick of the weekend award winner and really excited to watch what she does right here today she is making her debut at the Masters here in 2017 and already here in the final round of action from Monterrey Mexico representing for Ronix wakeboards and the Mayan water Sports Complex this is whistlers and I and the throttle goes down and Larissa Morales is on the water the Monterey Mexico native you know she's been spending her time over the last year at 19 years old living up in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania the collegiate students so she didn't really get to spend as much time on the water this last offseason as she's been used to spending over the past many years of her life you know since the inception of the Mexican national championships he's taken a win each and every year including in the first couple of years when she was competing against the boys of course now it's grown so much in Mexico they do have a full women's division and the competition onto Mexico has been getting quite heavy as we saw earlier this year at the Nautique wakeup and where we threw riders from all around the world at the orlando watersports complex a part of of course the ashjen.parkes and here we go for past number one these ladies can do as many tricks in the run of course looking for a mix of spin flips and grabs huge scarecrow on that first trick that's a front roll with a frontside 180 so she landed switch or started switch there's that 540 for her one and a half spins spinning open to the boat on that first 180 making it frontside going right in that toe side rolled a revert almost over cooking that one to her face just taking that one up huge the g23 wake is massive making tricks like that backside 360 plenty of time for her into the air and that's going to be into past number one Larisa Morales from Monterrey all right well going back to the instant replay right there absolutely huge toe side front roll weight 180s jet Crow scarecrow action right there but really impressed with the backside 360 we saw there and Larissa has been able to take that backside three to backside five in many contests in the past we're going to bring her back through pass numbers too just for you take it away Marie cutting in heel side Larissa going huge front of fakie yesterday making that one handle getting a little bit away from her and that's going to be a fall at the end of pass number one but Dano location patient location she fell at the end of her past you notice just under rotating that flip on that instant replay sitting in the back seat making it difficult to continue going on just under rotating that but like I said where she fell plays a big role in what can happen next that's right well picks out out to all our friends walked in from around the nation all around of the world hello to the Pilat mark London and Adrian Cox you guys are our big winners of our PTM ajik giveaway back on the water right now Larisa Morales went down on that front to fakie not going to let that hold her back got Taylor Oxford in the family watching the girls out here during this final round Larissa Sagan right there the nose grab front flip though fakie showing those judges are confidence right back onto the heels check that out massive any tantrum and that's going to do it she's going to get a wild card back to the dock Sean so that was two tricks for Larissa falling on that front to fakie but then once again revisiting it that might have been a half cab front I believe she normally is right before it so she started switch making that a half cab front so she did get up and do it again and just in time making that tantrum right before the end of the course but she has not done she has her wild card trick as she makes her way back down this does count as part of her score so she's going to want to make sure she plays her cards right that is a pun Daniel alright well let's check it out guys as she cuts in she's got the back side five can she put it down right here frontside 540 right there one extra spin in the spin category for the young lady from Monterrey Mexico Larissa all right it's out out the Blandin froze watching us from Oconomowoc Wisconsin great to have them live on the webcast looking forward to seeing you guys at WWE wakeboard regional championships happening in my backyard Kenosha Wisconsin this July and of course at the Nautique wwa wakeboard national championships going to be going on out in outside of Atlanta Georgia a little bit later on this year so to have all of you guys watching here on the webcast as we move from our first athlete in this pro-women wait for division to rider number two guys she finished the World Championships in second spot in 2016 number two on the wwas wakeboard world series she is a past World Cup champion a US national competitor in so long guys is a water ski athlete many moons ago she was I Junior record holder breaking in to the women's division of wakeboarding well over a decade ago representing her from O'Brian in 2016 finishing top three on the wakeboard world series guys this is Tara make a stand [Applause] so here we can fix one of the deck most decorated riders and skiers of all time you remember Tara and her name is the junior athlete I talked about she's competed here as a junior in the Masters and then roughly just over a decade ago started competing in a wakeboarding representing for freedom wake park out of Orlando Florida helping to develop the next generation of riders in 2016 guys I had some of those credentials wrong she took a second place finish at the sparks pro 2016 wake fest second place finish and in the evolution Pro Series overall second place and third overall in the wakeboard world at Ceres one of the most consistent and strong riders in the world Murray tell us what Tara's doing starting out with that batwing taken out past the second week we call it going into the flats here on our heel side approach reach it down for the Indy grab on that backside three and Tara cutting in on her toe side approach there's that nice toe side in the back roll just taken all day nice and slow on that backflip wake to wake actually kind of out in the flats nice indy tantrum Tara got to finish off possibly one more trick will this count we're not sure there's off-axis 540 going to be close not sure if that one's going to count but nonetheless she had some really good tricks that we know are going to be in there and we just saw Larissa score come up around 65 maybe 0.37 but let's look at this instant replay look at this toe side Indy back row beautiful execution on that really textbook technique on that and love seeing that toe side Indy back row from Tara alright well she sets up her pass number two she is wrapped up we've seen her go inverted this time she's going mobile check that out guys that's a heelside backroll backside three that's the wrap kgp back on the toe side eyes Indy toe side a front roll from Kara notice how she's grabbing each and every one of those tricks a nice mix with spins flips and airs there's a nice off axis 360 switching it up regular and switch hillside tricks Marie and right there cap by 40 about 540 I believe was a little bit tough but nice indie backside 180 at the end that might have been out of course but real nice finish with that 540 there's Larissa's score at sixty eight point six seven for Larissa Morales and Tara looking to best it and looking really good so far with that KGB on the replay moving right into that toe side indie front roll and Danny pointing out that she does grab a lot of her tricks increasing her score with that difficulty being stepped up a notch all right well we've got one more trick this is the wild card trick we've already seen one mope type maneuver also capable is this toe side edge of the titular we'll see if she goes for it right here toe side frog handle past 180 oh so close right there Tara make a stitch giving you guys away indicating she's saying okay queued up for Tara make a stitch folks and make sure you guys stopped over at the O'Brien booth Tara working on that all new a pro model signature board from O'Brien but Murray breakdown would happen on this tootsie carriage is leaning out the front before that board got pushed up all the way into the wake maybe we can see that replay one more time watch she doesn't kind of she doesn't quite go up she more goes across and letting that handle get away from her you're gonna notice that she breaks forward before that board finish is pushing up so the board gets knocked out from underneath it before it takes her up and her upper body did not go up not giving her just enough time but she almost fights this this is really impressive that she committed to the hambo pass even though she knows she didn't get the kick but look at that she almost finishes her upper body not quite finishing riding on her face hanging on to the handle and really fighting till the last minute to that handle was ripped out of her hands ladies and gentlemen put your hands together once again for Miss Tara mickus edge alright moving on next here on our next rider on the water here folks representing out of Orlando Florida doing it for a Hyperlight and a Nautique boat she's a past women's Pro Tour stop champion in the 2013 womens masters oh poor champion this is rainy all right guys we have got rainy on the water right now big shout out to rainy from the crew at O'Town Glenn Fletcher in the gang watching the action goes down Nautique athlete Jim ela rich also watch this live through webcast right now and if you guys have that message you want to text myself or Murray or try to shoot a something through social media Instagram or Twitter or whatever it is you guys want to do so Super Dave want to thank you for watching us up in North Carolina Dave Brunton the gang and here we go alright ray me coming from a family of water sports her dad a professional bare footer mr. Steve Merritt Donna when I was about 14 years old I went down and took some barefoot lessons from him and at that point I didn't think Raimi was born yet starting off with a method and a real strange Falk I kind of lost her behind the boat there for a second it seemed like she got kicked a little funny but nothing that she couldn't ride out of his for some reason ended up just going down on her first trick but I mean she's got plenty of pass she started that trick right away and I bet that she gets three four tricks and I've within this first half alright so getting a score posted we have a new leader Tara make a cinch with an 85 points score but taking a look right there at that method man you know and Murray a lot of people think our own method it's kind of just a graph shouldn't be that difficult but it there's a suit of things you grab the back edge your board with the front hand that's a melon grab you just tweak it out a little bit more bring it up and that's a whole new trick that's the method you can probably speak on how difficult a method truly is to do it legit it takes a lot of control in fact it's probably one of the one of the most difficult grabs to make looked legit and when you see somebody do a good one it's it's just a pretty trick to see and that's why Rainey is starting off her first pass just showing her control shown her style unfortunately getting just the the best of her off the dock there but watch how quickly she gets into her run will she pick up where she left off or will she get into a more difficult trick we'll see there's that frontside double grab 360 grab the board knows and then Indy at the end coming in so side for the off-axis 540 plenty of time she has been known to take that to seven but not sure if she's going to need that today in the back row look at that going into four tricks no problem behind that g23 there's the batwing landing a little in the back seat and just looking like she gave up on the landing unfortunately letting that handle get a little too far there's that double grab 360 on the replay watch the time that she has on this 540 where she passes the handle spots the landing and then drops down that's where she could add another even 180 even a 360 and then plenty of control in this Indy back roll looking great on that one and watches the board goes out of this batwing I believe that she might have missed the grab all right Dave tankmen head over to the c-dac booth Dave tank then head over to the see death booth here she is back on and today Danna we've actually only have two Falls in this women's final so that is going to be the end of a Rainey's run just at the end of the first pass so right now Tara McKissack sitting in first place with that 85 and Larissa behind her with a 68 well there she is guys the four-time wakeboard boat of the year the g23 the three-time wake surf of the year out there really really excited to have that man all the great technology inside of that boat there's it's the G series were built by riders for riders mur and we owe a lot of that you talk about how much like effort that you and the rest of team not seek all the athletes put in for the debut of that G 23 well that's what's awesome the the whole company Nautique is like one big family and the team of engineers all the way down to accounting like everybody gets to have a say in how things turn out and they do come to the athletes we spend a lot of time on the boats and then we say hey we would like to see this or let's change that and the g23 was a big collaborative effort between a lot of different people and it was really fun to play part of that project well and my friend since the debut of that g23 back of the Nautique wake games you know half about five or so years ago you know the day it debuted we saw two Chinese go down waked awake of course here at the Masters we saw that the first ever perfectly scored 100 point and right there we have a score of 50 point six seven for Remy Rutledge which means currently in the lead Tara Mikha stitch in first place Larisa Morales in second and on that bubble spot is Raimi the Rutledge and looking forward to seeing this final rider of the heat she's coming in as the defending Masters champion a past Moomba Masters champion and Nautique pro-am champion a past wwa wakeboard world champion national champion wait for World Series champion Nautique rider Megan uh-oh so we got all the riders down on the water stoked to see them out behind that g20 at 3 guys hey folks up you're gonna be down in Orlando Florida June 10th and 11th stop down the performance ski and surf gravel tours like one of the top amateur events for wakeboarding around the world and what I wanted to say is you know noticing all the riders we're seeing right here has come up through the race through that great series down there I'm going to be announcing and that of course takes place behind that g23 as well so really excited for that and hope to see some of you guys out there now here is Megan FL this is her first contest the fact the pressure is on you know Tara makeup stitches down to the dock watching the ass go down Kara currently sitting in the first place Megan is the only person standing between a Tara and her first ever major win the WWE wakeboard on the naughty quake series there he goes and Megan start things up with the big batwing making one of the most aggressive and progressive female riders in the world Marie going into that whirly bird that's a backflip backside 360 with the overhead rotation grabbing that toe side off axis 540 if somebody can put together a winning run it's Megan Ethel right now go into that knife heel side stalefish back role hopping the board around switch for one last trick of pass number two is that the 540 it is not only did she do it but that was solid on oh absolutely stomping the landing right there and you know Megan has been a part of this for so long Megan you know breaking into the scene somewhere around 11 years ago and as a junior an amateur wakeboarder many many many national and world titles under a belt broken I believe at about 13 or 14 years old into the pro women scene at 20 years old still at the top of her game we'll see what she can do here for past you start off with a handle pass back roll blind 180 super high risk to start that run off back in toe side front roll handle fast backside 180 it all comes down to this he'll sign approach Indy tantrum right there guys she's got the text she's got the style a nice mix of all categories these judges are looking for going in for one last trick that off-axis 360 will she squeeze she's gone for one more she's not done there's that method we talked about making it look good what a great finish to pass number two and an up coming back here looking at that instant replay it went down for that Indy grab as she came down from that tootsie roll toe side front rolled backside 180 down oh this is her first contest back since last year being sidelined she won her first three contests of the year and then was injured this is the first competition she's been back to the water but you noticed that she is wearing that red bib she is defending her title right now she's doing a pretty good job of it she's got one last trick to put the stamp on this run ladies and gentlemen make some noise she makes her weight back in the dock for this last trick Megan Ethel just lose mihaela KGB Megan Ethel well Megan asshole finishing off that women's division getting a great look on the webcast of the boat there's the C deck the nice badge is there inside heelside backroll right here she gets the handle pass and maybe needed a little bit of a longer cut into the wake to clear over that second week and unfortunate fall but in that true mega net little fashion a big smile on her face so congratulations to all four of these ladies Larisa Morales terrormaker titular Amy Rutledge and a maganet Ville so as it sets right now Kara Vegas which is in the lead right behind her is Larissa Morales on the bubble spot well that of course is Raymond Rutledge but after that run from Megan that's going to put her somewhere in first or second we're going to wait for that official score to post as we get ready to pull our next rider onto the water guys so keeping our eyes on that leaderboard as we eagerly await that score to post but right now we're going to take the super air Nautique g23 down of the line for a quick stimulation pass david dank man make your way over to the c-dac booth David Dayton to the SeaTac food all right we have got the scores in so listen to this ninety four point three three that makes Megan Ethel our 2017 Naik Masters champion yeah congratulations the Megan Ethel a big score and a great ride on her return back to competitive wakeboarding you know Megan you know dreams continue to come true for this young ambassador for the sport great to watch her out there and an awesome ride congratulations the rest of the field great rides across the board from Karen McKee stitch Larissa Morales and of course Remi Rutledge so we'll have to see we'll hopefully see all those late the next contest but we've got pro men wakeboard coming up here three of the four riders we saw here yesterday land double flips multiple double flips in their run so recommend if that's something you guys are in queue make your way down to the shoreline area or here inside the pavilion because coming up in a few moments we're going to see some super progressive riding from four of the top names in our sport now you do notice that that super aranaut cg 23 has taken a weird path and it's hanging out down by that the trees over on the south end of the lake right now maybe I don't know if it's south the west end of the lake right now and Shawn why is the g23 down there well they're looking for the honey hole these guys are some fishermen on the side and so they are going to they're trying to just go fishing no this is where we're going to experiment with the boat pass it's not really experimenting we've been doing it here for a long time they're just establishing where that boat is going to go for the double up Danno all right so if the weight wasn't big enough for you up the g23 just waked awake if these guys are able to make it through two full passes the boys are also going to get an added double up to their path to be added to their score tell everybody out there who may not be familiar with what the double-up is what it is so when water it goes and collides with itself it can actually stack up on top it doesn't necessarily cancel itself out so what you have here is you're going to notice the boat is creating a wake it's sending rollers off in both directions this boat that g23 is going to be making a circle all the way back around about 3/4 of a full turn and is going to cross its own rollers now you're going to watch the wake that the boat is dragging converge with the rollers that it is already made it is when it is at the peak right where the rider hits the wake it creates what we call the double up watch this it splashes through and you'll see some peaks form it's just for a split second but these riders they are looking for that moment now Danno we used to use the develop to try new tricks right the wakes were not that big so we needed the double up to get that extra hang time that's when we would do 720 or a double flip for the first time but the g23 is a new ballgame we do not need the double up to try new tricks in fact when this g23 is loaded it's almost bigger than the double up then on top of that when that boat does that turn around and creates the double up a loaded G 23 double up is next to scary I'm not kidding I'm not saying this for marketing purposes I rarely hit my G wake loaded and to go and hit the double up I'm not kidding yeah well I don't blame you know enough just wake to wake but these are the elite athletes marine you know it and these dudes they like to fly a high in the sky including this young man hopping in the water right now coming to you guys all the way from Newcastle Australia our first rider in this pro men's wakeboard division representing for CWA tours on his signature CW BTI board doing it for not tikka both in 2016 he finished second overall on the u.s. Pro Tour second overall on the WWE world weight Association wakeboard world series took first place the evolution Pro Series sole Pro ladies and gentlemen is the 2016 US National Pro wakeboard champion and overall evolution of Pro Series wakeboard champion the wolf Oh wakeboarding this is Tony hyukoh Sanna I don't know if it's intentional but when you say Tony's name you sound definitely more New Yorker it's kind of cool so Tony Iook Oni is on the one that's great man I really like that alright well Tony I Tony a member of team not ich got signed up sometime last year now this dude has been on a regiment for the last 700 days you look at the guy when he broke into the scene we saw him as a boys rider he was a big boy man he was always a talented rider but the dude has taken health and fitness to another level this guy eats right he's in the gym daily two days on many occasions he has slimmed up trimmed up that body style has helped him keep his tricks more consistent than just about anybody else out there Murr let's see we can do right here as he comes through for his first of two passes right Tony's going to get started here shout-out to Greg Nelson and all the Texas moppy out there tony i coney on past number one first trick there's that nose grab chromo 540 cutting in on this toe side is he going for the nine there it is solid 900 trick number two here's Ione make some noise he can hear you in front of the pavilion going for that heel side 900 we would rarely see those off the double of knowledge in the middle of his first pass he's got time for at least one more trick there's the double roll just not quite getting around just learning that this past week Dano and he knew he had to put it into this run you're at the Masters finals you got to pull everything out well you take a look at it right there regular and switch toe side at tricks out of the gate starting up with that nose grab promo five and then right back in toe side front side 902 very similar tricks from two different directions but right here murder you set it you know it was only three years ago you'd only see this trick going on by maybe one or two riders in the entire content and they'd always need a double up right here you're in the middle of his run right there you see the confidence but the true confidence shows right here a trick that he probably only landed 12 times in the last seven days and ever in his life the double back role looks like he gets around but somewhere that route that rope gets a little bit of slack in it and he loses that pull there at the end how is that going to affect this run Murr you know it really is but I don't think that's going to stop him from continuing to pass number two the question is will he revisit that double back role he knows he's going to need to if he wants to podium here with the guys that he's got coming up after him Cory tunas and Harley Clifford and Mike Doughty the best double flippers in the business right now are all standing on the dock waiting for their turn right behind him he knows that he's got to put it out there you know what is important is these double flips seem to be in 2017 here's the fact of the matter this guy also had some tricks that nobody else is doing in the world right now at least in competitive way courting he's got the front flip to blind he also has a front flip to blind 360 the blind of the blind front Mobe and very very technical maneuvers out there for Tony a super-powerful rider also capable of the 1080 he's landed it before never in a contest but we're going to see if he can do it here today here and now what's he going to do as he sets up light outside it's going to be a hillside approach into the week boosting big massive indy tantrum late handle past backside 360 taking it to the moon and a back regular switch heel side trick there it is Shawn that's that switch front flip backside 360 with the tail grabbed the only one to do it in the contest right now and there's the double back roll just letting out a little early ladies and gentlemen mr. Tony I Akoni [Applause] it's my Catania set the tone for the heat right they're also slightly leaving the door open but the amplitude Marie that is definitely not going to go unseen by these judges that moby-dick a rivaled the one that we saw out of Dean Smith yesterday who actually put three out there on the water just to prove how big he could go on him and then there it is that front blind mode from the switch heelside mer really really awesome trick now watch this here he goes for that double back role let's see if he waits for the top of the wake just a little early and untucked up hand off of that grab on his leg just getting under rotated not quite making that double but Dan oh he went for it he knew that he needed to if he wanted to take that podium spot well absolutely guys we can hear you out there that's Tony I Akoni from Newcastle Australia and from one Australian athlete we're going to move over to our next Australian athlete as we bring that keeper air nautic g23 back down the line Tony going to swim that down to shore and a meet and greet and visit with some of his fans all right we've got some people out in a web land sent us some messages bill Porter what's up buddy not sure if my daughter's gonna be riding Hayden did just break her arm so don't know if the gravel tour is going to work out jameelah rich we'll see about the accent and of course Greg Nelson Texas in the house Greg and Evelyn Nelson – reg shred hag mafia in CB Hudson what's up everybody out there little CB what up cat lair she's in Sheehan and the rest of the gang over there all night ich owners themselves down in text I was just with a few of them last week I was out there for an awesome cable contest cable stock we had a great time out there but we're not talking about cables today we're talking about the g23 and the amazing action going down from some of the best riders in the world including this man ladies and gentlemen doing it for O'Brien a wakeboard all the way from Australia he is the 2016 WWE defending world wakeboard champion Cory [Applause] site right here birdie Cory – unison in 2016 well became the first rider to ever incorporate awake to wake 1080 in a proper run well he proved it wasn't a fluke at the 2017 Moomba masters when he landed that 1080 once again in his contest run the naughty quake open as he came back to the dock right in front of his peers he landed another wake to wake Kenny but looking to do it in a proper contest run also yesterday the double flips we saw at a quarry this guy has a mix of it all all excitement on the water Cory's unison coming through Shaun Murray take it away boy if you guys are not near the water can't see the entire run you need to make sure you can do it now check out Cory tunas and trick number one in the first pass huge huge chromo 540 into the flats popping that board around with this big heel side approach don't look away because here it is right in front of you there's that double half-caf roll coming up to the stands and say what's up everybody actually the Australian probably just said oi hey I got my Cory take an unfortunate fall they're just missing that double flip but that is not the end but you know what Danno this means he's got some more work to do he's got two guys come up right after him Harley Clifford and Mike Doughty and he knows that he has got to put a big run together Tony a Hornet Tony score coming in at seventy two point six seven so that is the bar he has set it and these guys are looking at it and looking to surpass it some more shoutouts here from Gus Mitchell sending a shout out to just synth Carroll and all the Aussie competitors out here so thanks for checking us out down under Gus we do appreciate that of course we're having a rockin good time here unfortunate fall right there from Cory it's unison here in the final round of hatch and that's going to be one follies going to get that pickup Cory of course if if I know Cory the way I do that's only going to push into that next level he's going to get back up and he is going to leave it all on the water you can hear the guys the camaraderie down at the docks cheering him on the beautiful thing about the world of wakeboarding is nobody in our spot nobody in the sort of wakeboard ever wants to win by seeing other people fall these guys want everybody to stand it up event Greenwood from wakeboarding water-ski Mack setting up a shout out asking to bring back the Murray demo I've been asking for it all weekend – we got cory back up over it in at the wake hillside approach guys heelside frontside 900 right there getting a big grab on it as well Murray here's what's crazy Dan oh he had time for just one trick but he knew he had to land it he couldn't go for just the trick that out let's just hope I you know the hope and hut trip trick and and so he's like well I'm just going to play it safe so what's crazy is he just did a heel side and grabbed 900 that was huge looked confident and that was his play at safe trick well my friend if that's what safe is for Cory tuna Singh I think we can expect to see something big here in to pass number two something seemed to be out there in the course they stopped the boat right there judge is going to just grab that over on the driver's side I think it was a piece of paper or something in the middle of course but they're going to take him down and turn him around bring him back in what actually happened was Cory didn't give them gas money today and you know you got to make sure you get you got to give gas money and if you're riding and you haven't offered gas money halfway through your ride the drivers just going to stop and he's going to say like hey man you know he's like caught in bringing lollies like that's okay I accept credit cards you can break a can but that's what just happened he's like hey all right Jenna that was a technical difficulty we're just getting the speed dialed in and want to make sure that it's fair for everybody that's right well Cory tunas and out there Murray you were talking about if they're playing it safe with that hillside nine hundred one of the biggest nines we've seen of the entire weekend man just blown away watching this action out here from these riders do you want to send a shout-out to our friends at hyper lightweight guys you can check out the entire line of a hyper lightweight force over inside the ambush and by wit comm boot make sure you follow a hyper light wake at hyper light wake on social media and join the hashtag I ride hyper light community on hyper light calm here is pass number two Coreys unison into the weekend on the hillside ash check that out hillside back mole Butte grabbed 540 so the mute MOBA 540 from quarry back over in on the toe side edge this is going to be big guy going around the 10 and 80 Kory Toone isn't just landing it right in front of the podium I believe that's a masters first there's a double right after the 10 still riding it away he's got time for one more trick before the end of the second pass is he going for another double there's one there's two double back roll back to back 1080 talk about Redemption it guys and you know I was second-guessing myself on this 1080 just because it was so smooth and he had so much time to come out of it he gets that mute back mode he sketches out of the landing but puts himself into position for this trick keep your eyes on the board right now guys and watch the rotations watch the handle passes 1 2 & 3 holy smokes guys and he's not done right there to keep the confidence alive he's going to head right back in on the switch heel side edge he's going to go upside down how about that one and two and back to regular thus wit the half cab double roll right there and I want a regular heel side double back roll to finish it off getting the Indy grab and stomping the landing with some authority right there Murray this kid is on a fire out there as we set him down at the backside we're going to see a double up from Cory tuna Singh what an amazing run Dan Odo's tricks not only ifs one of those tricks was done just a little while ago everybody's jaw would have been on the floor we assault three back-to-back I don't know if we've seen that yet the 1080 done here on Robin Lake off the wake and Danno I'm kind of at a loss for words the double-up what does it have in store for Corey look at how big the wake is next time it's up to his waist he's asking for some noise ladies and gentlemen give it back to him alright well Corey Tennyson second rider off the dock going for the double up big shout out to the Johnson family Terrell Daniel snoozing the entire crew officers from Morrisville North Carolina as we get him to crowd we're going to ask for you guys to get up and on your feet you've seen the 1080 you've seen two double flip variation you've seen mo 540 Shaun Murray asks the question what's it going to be what's coming up next only time will tell as a super air naughty driven by naughty team rider the owner lee junki takes that boat around and gets ready to bring Corey tunas in back through the wake and high in the sky we're going to see something big right here if he connects big cut outside the wake hillside approach taking a cut he'll come down in 220 absolutely unbelievable air from Corey unison as he comes back to shore Callaway Gardens on your feet Kenny make some noise Danah that was huge that was a huge seven like you said if he connects with it and he went right to the peak on that I don't know if we're going to see a replay on it because it was pretty far away but honestly I still got a burn in my head because he oh here we go here's that replay watch him wait for those weights to converge and get to the top of that up over the flotilla out there though maybe they could even take that back and stop the replay in the middle of that 360 because it looks like he's got a melon grab and just pokes it out after that first 360 Kory Toone isten getting some Redemption after going down at the end of pass number one comes back in full authority here we go so we're going to slow it down frame by frame coming around one grab there's one drag get in the nose and then as he comes around watch him take that front hand grab the back of his board push out the nose goes melon grab melon poke finishes up that second rotation that was the biggest steal side 720 I've ever seen that was absolutely massive he dropped out of the sky with plenty of time you notice he completely jumped over if you put that big floating island that the biggest yellow rotation party island out there he would have gone over the top of that Murray I think a little homage to you from your days back in May day that he'll size seven that you threw down just taking that saying I remember myrrh but I'm going to add a little bit more that was amazing that would be amazing to remember that but I don't know if he was born at that point all right well we got one or two more riders left to go our next rider comes to us from the Gold Coast of Australia Surf City representing out there on the water for Body Glove in liquid force he is the first and only rider to ever score a perfect 100 point run and a past masters u.s. national Australian national world champion a king of wake a WWE wakeboard world series to champion lose and gentlemen get on your feet get loud and get proud for the Phenom Harley Harley Clifford honest the waters and Murray we talk about that perfectly scored 100 point right it happened right here at the Masters just a couple of years ago from that man Harley Clifford well earlier this year he made a return to wakeboard action at the Moomba Masters and Harley Clifford came out there first trick back after injury threw down the dull tantrum and earned himself another 100 point run we do have a score of 89 points up on the board but if you recall yesterday he was able to come out here Harley Clifford laid out a good handful of double flips he's also capable of that 1080 this is going to be absolute insanity folks I don't care if you didn't like wakeboarding before this year is wakeboarding personified Harley Clifford into the lake going for that massive KGB taken out of the flats the only way Harley knows how to do it back from the other side but don't laugh cab roll oh no and Murray the drama the action we have now seen all three riders go down in past number one the let the playing field has sort of been levelled out right now this is pretty crazy honestly for these guys to go down on the same trick almost in the same location you remember that Cory was coming towards the the pavilion and Harley going away so for these guys to both fall in the second trick that double half-caf roll like you said is kind of even things out a little bit but really above her just to see that that that Harley went down on it really interesting it wasn't able to ride that thing out but once again he is not done and if anybody can put something together I know that Harley can alright we're going to get him back up and here's a beautiful thing about about the world of wakeboarding is yes these guys can only do four tricks down they can only do four tricks back but even with the fall they can still get back up if they like and try to throw those tricks all down it's about quality over quantity here and a Harley clipper definitely has the quality tricks they take to be a Masters champion he's proved it in the past he's back up on the water were taking him down the wakes shaping up and Harley Clifford is taking that big eyes outside the lake cutting in guys he should have time for two more trick hillside approach doable in details from right over there for the crowd at the end of the pavilion and onto the toe side edge up and over how about that micromo seven to twenty folks from Harley Clifford a two side front row handle pass toe side 720 you talk about legitimate action on the water that is the man my folks the phenom Harley Clifford and you watch that replay as he crosses I throw away that fall it don't matter because he just landed that chrome open nose grabs seven at 20 amazing mur I don't think so friend that was unbelievable what passed number two there's the double a half cab roll the trick that took him down in pass number one back in for his second trick Harley set it up from the opposite edge the front flip Mull 540 right there from Harley back in from the opposite side hillside ash nose grab 901 more trick from the Phenom as he lines it up down for the beach hillside no scrap back foam five cake oh yeah he rides it away Harley Clifford with a bit of a sketch out landing but is able to stand it back up which means we're going to get a double up from the Phenom check the instant replay Marie there's that double half-caf roll that took him out making sure that he landed that one solid and he's going right into this next trick watch this ladies and gentlemen handle control and when he finds his landing when his head stops moving his eyes lock on and sees the landing on that front Mobe 540 and then he goes right into this next trick going up there it is the 900 off the wake landing super soft even though he didn't land on top of the second wake he took that thing out into the flats but watch this back Mobe 540 lands it kind of sketches out and he fought for that had he not Donald that would have been the end of his run well luckily for us we're going to get one more out of Harley Clifford now the double up of course thrown a little bit of a hurdle in here for these guys you know most of these guys practicing training behind the big wigs and you know in the old days guys like yourself you guys were always hitting a couple of double ups every single set these views only start practicing double up so before the events they know that a double up is going to finish off there on which which isn't that often we don't see double ups added to to the end of a run very often so it's pretty cool that we get to see this here at the Masters because it definitely adds an element of difficulty and can really change the result come on pavilion give it up for this man our Lee Clifford if he comes past give them the love right there one more trick for all you all right here Callaway Gardens guys the only man in history to ever land all perfectly scored 100 point on it happen of course via net 90 g23 on two different occasions guys this double up here is going to be the end of the run for Harley Clifford but if he can stomp something a big you may be looking at your next Masters champion we're going to find out of course double flips you've seen them already also 1080 maneuvers put that camera back over there on the boat the guys down at the dock or doing what everybody else should be doing getting those smartphones out cameras ready for this as Charlie Clifford takes his approach into the wake there it goes guys holy smokes getting hung up in the air on that toe sidewall probably wanted to take it to blind a 360 still an amazing ride right there in a memorable run we will never forget masters do what you do and give it up for the Phenom Harley Clifford and there is one rider left to go and if you thought that was good there's a reason what this next rider is top seed coming into this final round of action coming up next we got Mike Doughty's Nautique team rider and yesterday in the semi final round Mike dowdy did two tricks in his run that nobody else in the world is doing in contest and heck I don't even know if people are doing them at home dowdy of course has tricks that that that he can throw down out here that possibly none of us even know about one of the most mentally focused riders in the world we're going to get them out here on the water do you want to remind you guys stop over the Nautique tap for your chance to win on Apple watch your last five minutes to sign up so get over there and do just that but now it's time for the final professional man wig porn athlete Oh PJ from Pinckney Michigan representing first cwe board company by Wacom Ct I belong in Nautique both he is the 2016 WWE a wakeboard World Series overall champion dirty boy Brodus down here in this bro man final wearing that reddit jersey he is the defending masters a champion and of course daddy would like nothing more than to take home another title here this year not only one of the most talented on water athletes in the world not only does he have that game on the water it's a head game and a mental focus that keeps Doughty up there at the top echelon of the sport we're going to turn them around we're going to bring them around Shaun Murray since you no doubt he gets so so technical I'm going to let you analyze this run as he comes down the line all I can say to you robbing the lake Kelley Karns get ready for some doubles here we go Mike Talley trick number one cutting in on his tosai to watch that grab chromo 540 out into the flats really taking that one out the back Mike Doughty can put this together and walk away with the title look at that individual trick you won't see that done by anyone else don't even know what to call it but it's cool Mike dowdy cutting in on that switch heel side there's that double flip one two landing that with confidence that's hung up somewhere other riders on their first attempt he doesn't on his first go is that a double flip yes it is back-to-back doubles mr. Mike dowdy alright so dowdy guys going out there starting off the massive chromo 540 is Maria mention now keeping that board almost parallel with the water such a unique trick and then right here Sean talked about it's a unique trick to dowdy you're gonna watch him he's going to come off the weak he's going to pass the handle behind his back and go all lay around there holy smokes Mike dowdy 720 right there but in his own unique fashion pass number two is upon us dowdy in on the heels check that out the tail grab Moby Dick right there the tantrum handle pass backside of 360 and I don't know if daddy's is one to even out the playing field completely now each rider is taken at one fall looked like he pressed through the wake right there and didn't quite get the take up that he was looking for he still had the rotation he still at the distance going wait to wake Shaun but ended up falling short just a little bit losing grip now it is at the beginning of pass number two and the strategic-wise not a bad place to go down if there was a place to go down he gets an opportunity after that first run throwing those cue double flips a half cap double back roll into the regular hillside double bad girl and now dowdy gets to catch his breath and we're going to see him back up on the water here so Harley Clifford ending up with an eighty six point three three which means our current leader is a Corey tunas in with an eighty nine point run Tony I echo neon is a bubble there with a seventy two point six seven run put back on the water this is the one and only dirty mic daddy big shout-out to the crew on Texas Joey Bradley Nautique owner keeping his eyes on the action just as we are Mike daddy keeping his eye on that wave just as we are shaping up cutting out and here we go dowdy sets up in on the heels off it over there's that tail grab Moby Dick tantrum backside handle past 360 getting ready to cut back in from the opposite hillside hillside approach guys count 900 right there came to already get back on it in time turn that buoy back at the wake one more trick down there at the end no the kg p fi the back roll backside 540 taking him down dowdy going a high-risk high-reward as we watch the instant replay right here he gets back up knocks out that tail grab tantrum blind to 360 he lands the trick he spots the landing he turns that board around he cuts back in this is going to be the cab 900 up in over guys two and a half full rotations for Doughty sticking it Queen and then it's right here the KGB 540 we're going to break it down as he cuts in throws the bad girl gets the grass does a 360 and then to the last moment one more blind 180 unfortunately goes down it's still going to be a big score for the young man of a Pinckney Michigan give it up guys for my dowdy Cory's cutest in Harley Clifford Tony Iook oniy in third place where will Doughty set for the finish we are going to find out here in a just a moment but Shawn what a final what a lot of drama that was some interesting Falls yet a lot of guys coming back swinging really hard with some of those big tricks some of the unique tricks that are really only done by the guys who we seed to do them today and Tony doing individual tricks Cory tunas and really knocking out some awesome tricks and then that double up to 720 with the double grab what a great way to put a stamp on the end of that run so we're going to find out where Mike dowdy finishing off with an eighty four point three three and we're going to see where that lands him once we get all the other scores up there but I believe that might put put innocent in the lead there we have it ladies and gentlemen your final score in third place Mike dowdy in second place Harley Clifford and capturing his first ever bromance wakeboard title here at the Masters Cory tunas alright guys what an amazing afternoon it's been we've got one a more division coming up we've got the Pro women and pro man jump final coming up next on the water looking forward to that guys we're going to be back at it here live on the webcast jean marie i thank you so so much for joining me up here in the announcer's town I'm going to have a special guest here momentarily guys but I need to catch my breath I need a little bit more water I need to go do some high fives down to the dock so we're gonna go to commercial and we'll be back from the 58 Nautique masters presented by GM murray technology we're flushed with hard-working American folks that what they want to do is they want to come in every day and provide pride and craftsmanship they want a quality product driven by the blood sweat and tears that they put out there and nothing speaks American [Applause] what does it take to go further it takes a drive few possess a commitment few can match and a history to back it all we test for every open throat every all day excursion nothing is left to chance so when the water beckons you can answer with confidence we are GM Marie

That announcer is Shaun Murray, he has more talent and better personality than most commenting here. Very nice guy and still a great wakeboard enthusiast.

Take a breathe announcer…horrible camera angle…Hate to criticize too much cause I did enjoy the video, but the in boat camera angle is way too low. The side wash and rooster tail block out the view. A little too much talking too. Drone view is nice though.
