The Reds never get to celebrate at home. That's the only thing missing here…

As a new-ish, non-american, appreciator of this sport (who never really understood it until I started "educating myself" by playing MLB the Show '17), I'm kinda leaning towards the Reds as my favorite team. Just something about the look of their uniforms and logo, I dunno…

The Reds went wire to wire and then beat a great Barry Bond's Pittsburgh team. Beating the A's was easy 🙂

Arguable best starter on that team was Rijo and I know this even though I was born in 1989.😅

It's a Saturday night, baseball season is over but thank God for youtube and MLB posting their games, I can watch all the baseball games I want until next season.
Even though I'm a Dodgers fan, I'm a fan of the Cincinnati Reds world series teams, they were such great teams, well balanced and the big red machine greatest baseball teams ever.

I hope the Dodgers can do to the Red Sox what the Reds did to the As, embarrass and humiliate a team with over 100 plus wins in the World Series. The Reds were the underdogs but the underdogs winning always put a smile to my face!

I was only 8 at the time, and didn’t really get into sports and the Reds until ‘92 when I was 10. I SO wish I had been able to see this all happen! I haven’t seen them get to a WS, or really even come that close. ‘95 swept in CS, and haven’t won a playoff series since then. 😕

Don't forget that at the end Tim McCarver congratulated the Oakland Athletics and the said, "Oops I mean the Cincinnati Reds." Seeing this video brings tears to my eyes. I'd LOVE to have. World Series champion back in Cincinnati.

Being a native Cincinnatian, this 1990 WS title gave me more pride than in 1975 & 1976, with the "Big Red Machine", they were expected to win it all, this 1990 team came outta' no where to pull it off…
