I bought these goggles for $15 from a petrol station so essentially I'm looking for the cheapest most nasty goggles I can find looking like pharmacies or whatever one of the pharmacies had what I was looking for but it was way too overpriced they'll charge like $70 for $30 goggles ain't willing to pay $70 so we're going up to the petrol station hopefully they have the same ones for the real press today I want to find out if they're really that much worse to the normal goggles I ride with I'm not sure how much they're worth but I'm sure they're well over $15 these ones are the exclusive brand Ariel now you've probably never heard of it it's too exclusive we're up here on kageura and we're gonna take these goggles out and see how they perform compared to these ones let's go all right I've just installed my new goggles and I can tell you right off the bat the cool factor is next level [Applause] I just did it run off the goggles now it's time my homie bow to do a run with the goals what are your first impressions of the hella fresh so both just done two runs with the infamous $15 pink goggles so what are your thoughts this $15 you can never spin is goggles increased my snowboarding skill tenfold they're actually like really bad no they legit take everything pink like who doesn't want pink never few drinks put these on you'll get two yeah 1 to 10 rating 1100 everyone do it just about the head down the hill now yeah let's talk about these $15 goggles from the petrol station despite having no venting mesh on either side I have no idea why it hasn't got those these were brand new when I bought the by the way despite that there are only two valid complaints that I have about them and they're not really too bad one of them being the lack of vision but I'll elaborate more on that down the hill let's go see belts so we can be safe make click do you guys remember like all the skate fish eyes by the ones everyone be X's and they have like the edges around the fish eye that is what these are pretty much you can see your frame on each side which is restricting your vision which isn't the greatest but I mean like it doesn't restrict it to the point that you can't snowboard here's a clip to demonstrate what I'm talking about as you can see this is what it's like wearing the $15 petrol station goggles and this is what it's like not wearing them with these ones you pretty much have full 180 vision which is kinda what you want another factor which more expensive goggles like these have over these is obviously gonna be the comfort today I started offering these at the so I was like yo these things feel all good like they're comfortable enough after that half of the day I swapped back to these and I can tell you these feel like a freaking soft pillow compared to these like I didn't realize how comfortable these goals were until I tried the other ones and I'm just realizing that you know how said there's only two factors which kind of demerit these from those ones there are only two valid complaints that I have about them and they're not really too bad and that is the vision and the comfort well I just put myself if I was gonna go buy new goggles what are the two things I'll be looking for probably vision and comfort and then style comes through I guess but you know these are obviously always gonna win over these in the style Department there's no argument so you in me saying those are two little factors they're probably the biggest factors in the goggles but there's one thing that was really good the lenses that they have in these were freaking amazing like it was a pretty overcast today these were like red and they made everything look like a sunset and it was just real sick so in conclusion these obviously gonna win every time but if you're heading up the mountain and you don't want to spend much money I would get these if I was only going up for like a week a year or something these will do you just fine and I think they look sick bro I want to hear your guys thoughts on what you think about these I'll put a poll up in the corner you just go up there and select the option that you think relates most to you about these goggles right here once again these were 15 dollars and when I bought this there were around $200 you know is quite a big price difference and yet they were pretty much do it for this video of my dudes shout out to Beau for helping me with this video that was so sick you the man you rock dude we should film some more sometime if you're watching this cuz and if you guys want to see more videos like this I will definitely do them what are you guys thinking like cheap snowboard versus expensive snowboard I can't think of anything else if you guys do think of something leave it in the comments and I'll see what I can do and other than that I will catch you guys tomorrow with another video because I make these things every day yo you already know how it is ah-ho make sure to subscribe [Applause]

I wear $45 Bolle Mojo black with vermilion. Comfort and vision are fine. $15 is a bit too low.

Wear the more expensive goggles. Because you can see better where you're going on the mountain.
The cheaper goggles distorts your perifeal vision.

I got goggles with a tiny fan and they work great keeping the condensation from forming on the lens. However, the electrical contacts are finicky and had to fiddle with them more than once. Also, the higher speed option quit working but it is fine. Got them for $60 from a rep but retail for more than $200.

I've used old goggles a bit like the cheap ones ever since I was a kid. I've skied for like fifteen years, then a couple of years ago tried snowboarding and fell in love. A couple of days ago I went to buy new equipment, and trying goggles with a wide vision was simply astonishing. I didn't even know such a thing existed. Insta-bought them.

Next time perform a scientific test by comparing objective UV indexing by staring at the sun for no less than 5 minutes with each goggle and report back…

…but seriously, don't trust cheap lenses and don't stare at the sun, unless you're Donald Trump.
