what are the best boots to use with this frames? ola youtube, my name is Ricardo lino and I’m a wheel addict. a few weeks ago I got a pair of razors and the guys from razors also
sent me a pair of ground control 125 try skate frames they also sent me the
wheels but today what I’m going to do is I’m going to use my favorite 125
millimeter wheels free skate wheels on my favorite big wheel ufs boot which is
the boot that I was also using with my kizer at trimax and that is the USD sway
in this skate I’m going to be using the my feet Fat Boy tall liner so I’m gonna
get the GoPro and just oh is it Oh sweaty let me just think it scared of one so what do I think about this I believe that would be a boot that would
work for days this will be the one that’s why I know that this boot is also
used for a power slide new skate called the Bronx one and yeah like I said she’s
also an aggressive skate the frame the frame feels super super stiff which is a
good thing like I mean it’s stiff in a good way
it’s a really responsive frame it’s I guess it’s as short as it can be
I’m not really sure I think it’s a 260 it could be in between to 6 to 55 and to
60 millimeters length I’m not really sure it’s somewhere between those two
lengths but it feels short it’s feels responsive it feels really stiff good I
like that when you look from the front you see that the walls are a little bit
bended but they are bended – to reinforce the frame a bit more so I do
like it it also it’s also like a little bit vented here on top again to
reinforce the connection between it’s not there’s not really a connection I
don’t know if this is machined I think it’s a machined frames huh yeah it does
it does work like I said before it’s it’s stiff it does work nice it feels
good now in what mood are you to use this frame that’s my question
because like I said before this boot works with big will friends but 125
might be too big for this boot I’ve been scanning this boot on 101 tents again
the try max frame and I know that ground control also make this frame as a 110
millimeter for 110 millimeter wheels but it doesn’t feel right I don’t know maybe
there’s another butt or maybe there’s other things that I can do to this boot
to make it work better I think if I would use instead of using the Fat Boy
liner if I would use the ground liner or the recall liner from my feet they can
be laced all the way to the top and that will give me some extra support knowing
that the crown liner also has some kind of like a cuff that you can put on the
liner that would make it stiffer and because it’s a super pilot liner will
give me more support there will be one of the things that I would do probably
to get these skates a bit more supportive and I would tighten all the
way to the top super super tight on top specially then a 45 degree strap I guess
it would make also a difference I do not know if these booties originally made
for an aggressive skate or for a free skate but I believe that it would be an
amazing free skate with the 45 degree strap so basically what I’m saying is if
I would be using the new Bronx instead of this way could be better but then the
new Bronx is not a ufs frame so that’s why I dropped this question what are the
best boots to use with this frame I don’t know yet I don’t know yet I know
that there’s a lot of people skating with the Sabre carbon skates the CJS or
the sx ones but when I scare them I don’t think that’s the skate for 125
millimeters I don’t think that build is good boot for 125 millimeter frames so
again that’s my question in what good are you going to use this
friend and that’s it I hope you guys enjoyed this video I need to sweat it
out I hope you guys enjoyed this video if you did enjoy this video do not
forget to give me some thumbs up if you didn’t like it give me some thumbs down
but let me know what did you like about this video again let me know what boot
should be used with this frame and don’t forget to subscribe to the channel maybe
someone will drop me a comment with the perfect boot and I’ll try it and it’s
going to work perfect and now let you know for sure more important than
anything just like I always say don’t forget why we all started skating and
that is because it’s fun cheers guys and

I've never had aggressive boots other than the SX/CJ for only a few weeks. Why do you think they are not up to the task compared to the ones you show here? Is it because they are super flat… i.e. not heel differential?

I currently own some USD Fancky Morales Carbons that I use with some 80mm wheels ( with a seba deluxe UFS boot). It's a really fun setup but I would not try to set wheels bigger than 90mm on it as I think that with 100mm I would not get enough support. Maybe changing the cuff would help and then it could be used with those bigger wheels. But I don't know yet, what do you think ?

k2 unnaturals, better for 125 than agressive skating because of the stiffness, highly recomended

    Nice, good points!
It's great that these frames exist, but boots need to catch up. Maybe it would work well with adapts?

I give you high regards Lino. You’ve inspired me to start my own channel shortly. I hope i can spread as much joy with mine as you do yours. Maybe those frames will work great with a Seba FR1. I use that boot with my 125mm set up.

I've got these on my Seba SX boots, had to get sections cut outta some soul plates to prevent the wheels catching on the flat boot base as they protrude above the frame a little. They work a charm out the box on my K2 Unnaturals but I'm loving my wizard style hybrid setup – Gaston at locoskates hooked me up.

Just wondering what size boot you are using Ricardo? It would be interesting to know in relation to the length of the frame.
